“My son and I visited Ayame Curry And Ramen House for the first time this past Friday. We have to be cautious with any new restaurant because of allergies. I called beforehand, and the person on the phone was pleasant and assured me that the sauce would not affect our particular allergies.
We both had Combo Set C. This consisted of shoyu ramen, pork fried rice, and pork gyoza.
The ambiance was casual and relaxed. We walked in just after they opened, so there was no crowd. The greeter welcomed us warmly, presented us with a menu, and said that someone would be there to help us shortly. I asked about the ramen base and cooking oil, because of my shell fish and my son's peanut allergies. She assured us that they use a shoyu base, and would explain to the cooks about our allergy concerns. She was friendly, and helpful. We both appreciated that.
My son and I were already enjoying the peaceful atmosphere, and the quick, reassuring, pleasant service. When the food came we were delightfully surprised.
The scrumptious smell of the ramen filled the air as it was brought to our table. It was delectable to the eyes, as well as the olfactory senses. The gyoza, and fried rice came shortly afterward. All of our dishes were prepared promptly, and proficiently. The ramen was warm and savory. I normally don't like to finish the soup, because it has a tendency to be too salty. Not so with this sauce. It was perfect. My son commented that I inhaled, rather than discarded it, like I usually do. The fried rice was wonderful, an amalgamation of flavors brought together in an impeccable way. The gyoza effortlessly complimented this combo.
With great quality food, service, and ambiance, we will definitely be back here again, just as most of Kaneohe.“

“Love their Papaya salad platters, Phö broth, Sandwiches, Vermicelli, plate lunch combos, Summer rolls, desserts and smoothies. All so fresh, tasty and delicious!! The owner is amazingly friendly and can remember your name and your order from previous visits. Miss the indoor dining.“

“Picked up party trays for a small New Year's celebration. The food was delicious and all our favorites: chicken katsu, gyoza, pork fried noodles, shabu beef curry. The curry can be messy in a tray but they double-wrapped it in foil to keep it from spilling. It is the best curry anywhere. Everyone at Sumo Ramen Kaneohe is always willing to do whatever it takes to make us happy. The prices are good too. They made our New Year special.“

“First time coming to Saito and Pho. It was very quick to get seated. We also got our food within like 10-15 minutes. The chicken Katsu was nice and crispy and with the side order of curry was also good. The curry was not spicy but was also thick enough for it to work well with the Katsu. Overall, it kinda gave a nice mom and pop kinda restaurant where it felt like you just came back home.“

“As a puertorican picky eater I was skeptical but I was AMAZED! I ordered the cold noodles with Bbq Chicken and Sweet Chili Shrimp. Delicious, I ate everything on the plate. My family all ordered something different and every plate was empty. A must try place!“

“My favorite place to get freshly made Pansit, Miki soup noddles, and Won Ton Wrappers. They also make various noodles and wraps such as Chow mein, Chow funn, Saimin, Mandoo wrap, Udon, Suimai wrap, and their new: Kaigushu noddles. Each items are fairly priced per pound. Recommend coming here for freshly made noddles/wraps.“

“This little place packs an amazing punch for some great sushi. It was the best sushi I have had. I got the shrimp crunch and we tried several others that I can’t recall the name of but was all excellent. Service was good. The atmosphere was quiet. Would definitely eat there again if I ever come back to Waikiki.“

“The best old skool saimin joint on the planet...the broth just brings back alot of memories of enjoying saimin with your parents and grandparents...its just so rich in flavor and the noodles are second to none...then its time to sink your teeth in the smoky flava of their bbq stick,omg doesn't get any better..my go to is the wonton min and bbq sticks, if you haven't already visited this place, do yourselves a favor and check them out soon.. 🤙🤙🤙“

“Food was good and came out quickly. Portion sizes were pretty good, and cooking seemed like it was more home-style and less tourist focused, which was appreciated. I got the beef chow fun, the person that I went with got the beef rice soup.“

“Very high quality udon with great selection. Only drawback was parking, but the new manager is on it — he went out of his way to figure out validation for customers in the closest lot. Otherwise street parking it is. 10/10 would recommend — will be back!“

“Went to Sun Noodle today(Saturday) because my daughter wanted a ramen bar for her Birthday tomorrow. The nice lady upstairs in the office helped me pick out a specific type of noodle from their product catalog after I described what type of noodles my daughter likes and she also explained to me how the numbers of the noodles correspond to the thickness. I got 15 orders ( 3, 5 packs) of freshly made noodles, tonkotsu and tan tan broth to go with it. Ordering was super easy, you go back downstairs to the outside, walk to the right, press the buzzer on the right hand side of the adjoining warehouse, another girl came out with my order, processed my credit card payment and off I went. Fast, simple and very economical. This was my first time going there although we eat ramen everywhere Sun Noodle distributes their noodles. Love their products, will surely go there again to stock up on my daughter's favorite food, Ramen!!!“

Eeva at the front and JN Woo made our whole experience. Eeva walked us through the entire menu, not in a rushed, order-already kind of way, but actually explaining how each dish is made and what goes into it. She was patient with all our questions and made us feel completely at home. JN Woo was just as great.

You can tell this place means something to people. There are regulars who’ve been coming here for over 30 years, and once you sit down you get why. It has that homely feel you can’t manufacture.

Eeva is genuinely a lovely human being, and honestly you can taste it in the food.

Went for the Pho and we end up also having a spicy noodle soup (pork and beef) and some fresh spring rolls. Broth is good, not too greasy, portions are great.
Everyone was friendly!

If you want to park right in front you will need to pay for parking, however it can be validated at the restaurant. Parking at the Sams/Walmart parking lot is an option for 3 hrs, free.“

“We finally tried Ten Seconds Yunnan Rice Noodles at Pearlridge Mall, and OMG… the original pork bone soup was SO good! 🤤 The broth was flavorful and comforting, definitely one of my favorites.

We also ordered the mixed rice noodles with pig cutlet and pig’s ear, and everything was really good. We also got some dim sum on the side and honestly, we loved everything we ordered!

The place was clean, the service was awesome, and everyone was so friendly and lovely. They were very welcoming, which made the whole experience even better.

This was definitely a pleasant surprise. I didn’t really know what to expect going in, but we ended up enjoying everything. If you like noodles, flavorful soups, and trying something a little different, definitely give this place a try!

“This is my favorite ramen spot EVER. Their kimchi ramen is legitimately life changing. The staff is wonderful and this is always a MUST GO for us and we always take home some of their chili oil/sauce for use at home. So happy they are now packaging it! If you need a sign to try this place, may this be that sign. You will not regret it.“

“Really enjoyed our meal at Wagaya! Everything we ordered was delicious, and the prices were very reasonable for the quality and portion sizes. It’s a great place to come with friends or family because there are plenty of dishes that are easy and fun to share.

One of my favorites was the potato mochi. It had a nice chewy and soft texture with a good amount of sweet soy flavor. The sauce was flavorful without being overwhelming, and the nori wrapped around each piece added a nice savory touch. It was simple but really satisfying and definitely something I would order again.

The corn was another highlight and was especially fun to eat. The kernels were fried together into crispy pieces, so you get a nice combination of crunchiness on the outside and sweetness from the corn. It’s a unique snack-style dish that works really well for sharing.

Overall, everything we tried was good, the prices were reasonable, and the meal was very enjoyable. Wagaya is a solid choice for tasty Japanese food at a good price, and I would happily come back to try more of their original dishes.“

“Wow…we loved our meals. We stopped here by quickly on our way from Waikiki to the airport, and easily found street parking. The vermicelli bowls with lemongrass chicken & tofu (and a banh mi with pork + chicken) were so fresh, so filling, and really high quality. Delicious Vietnamese iced coffee. The service was kind, as well. Highly recommend for a relaxed & high quality meal!!“

“Going to Jane's Fountain felt like I traveled back in time to one of those old school diner places. On that day, I had the Hamburger Steak. It is one of the best on the island. My only complaint was that there was only one hamburger patty. I would definitely pay extra for the 2nd patty.“

“I was visiting Oahu with my husband for a few days, and we always look for good Chinese food spots wherever we travel. Mian was amazing and definitely hit the spot. “I’m gonna round up to five stars and give benefit of the doubt for other items. A bowl of Ramen is $15-$23. I feel like the portion size was very hearty. I had the black garlic Ramen with pork.
