“The food was soo good (: we drove from Haleiwa and it was so worth it I got the spicy tonkotsu my fiance had their aji ramen and their mini chicken katsu curry everything was 10/10 including their service super attentive and nice ppl. We also got to try their honeydew boba shave ice 😋“

“Searched a local mom n pop shop, came across this for a quick bite, loved it, get the combo, you can split rice and ramen and get 4 gyoza on top of it for about $16 bucks. Got very busy after and they were still able to serve and get food out to everyone probably withing 5-7 minutes. Would come back !“

“I am not surprised at the food quality and exceptional service this establishment provides.. Dennis and Jasmine are very friendly and Accommodating.. Food is Excellent and taste like it says (ONO). “My favorite place to get freshly made Pansit, Miki soup noddles, and Won Ton Wrappers. They also make various noodles and wraps such as Chow mein, Chow funn, Saimin, Mandoo wrap, Udon, Suimai wrap, and their new: Kaigushu noddles. Each items are fairly priced per pound. Recommend coming here for freshly made noddles/wraps.“

“The best old skool saimin joint on the planet...the broth just brings back alot of memories of enjoying saimin with your parents and grandparents...its just so rich in flavor and the noodles are second to none...then its time to sink your teeth in the smoky flava of their bbq stick,omg doesn't get any better..my go to is the wonton min and bbq sticks, if you haven't already visited this place, do yourselves a favor and check them out soon.. 🤙🤙🤙“

“So, I am a total townie. To me, going past Chinatown is going to the boonies. Going to Aiea and taking the freeway is like going to another country where you don't know how to drive. Well, I took the adventure and it was totally worth it to check out this place. Had tried before, but unfortunately, they were still closed due to COVID restrictions. After thinking about trying to go again, I found the time and couldn't believe what I was missing out on all this time. The food is just amazing. I've had Taiwanese soups of many kinds over the years, but their Cow Wow beef noodle soup was by far the best I have ever had. Lots of excellent meat, rich broth and spiced perfectly. My partner had the Fooki Belly plate and I was amazing with the pork that was so perfectly cooked and so flavorful with fatty yumminess. We also got the Grandpa Rolling Beef, which was like an Asian crepe burrito. It was fantastic as well, but didn't really need so much plum sauce on it and would ask for it on the side when we go back again. The place has a certain Asian kitschy sheik to it, like something with a Shanghai old movie feel. They are super cautions with COVID safety and maybe can ease up just a bit, but I do appreciate their efforts to keep themselves as well as their dinners safe. If this place were to open up another location in the Honolulu area, I would probably be there way to much. Maybe it is a good thing that they are out of my normal travel comfort limits, so that it makes it extra special when I go back again for their amazing food.“

“Went to Sun Noodle today(Saturday) because my daughter wanted a ramen bar for her Birthday tomorrow. The nice lady upstairs in the office helped me pick out a specific type of noodle from their product catalog after I described what type of noodles my daughter likes and she also explained to me how the numbers of the noodles correspond to the thickness. I got 15 orders ( 3, 5 packs) of freshly made noodles, tonkotsu and tan tan broth to go with it. Ordering was super easy, you go back downstairs to the outside, walk to the right, press the buzzer on the right hand side of the adjoining warehouse, another girl came out with my order, processed my credit card payment and off I went. Fast, simple and very economical. This was my first time going there although we eat ramen everywhere Sun Noodle distributes their noodles. Love their products, will surely go there again to stock up on my daughter's favorite food, Ramen!!!“

“We finally tried Ten Seconds Yunnan Rice Noodles at Pearlridge Mall, and OMG… the original pork bone soup was SO good! 🤤 The broth was flavorful and comforting, definitely one of my favorites.

We also ordered the mixed rice noodles with pig cutlet and pig’s ear, and everything was really good. We also got some dim sum on the side and honestly, we loved everything we ordered!

The place was clean, the service was awesome, and everyone was so friendly and lovely. They were very welcoming, which made the whole experience even better.

This was definitely a pleasant surprise. I didn’t really know what to expect going in, but we ended up enjoying everything. If you like noodles, flavorful soups, and trying something a little different, definitely give this place a try!

“The food is delicious 😋 and the service great. It was a Saturday night so b it was packed with a graduation celebration 🎓 about to arrive. However, when you put your name on the wait list your whole party must be there or they'll skip you. Parking is minimal but definitely worthwhile.“

“We’ve been searching for a great Thai restaurant in Honolulu, and I’m so glad we found this spot! We ordered the Pad Thai with chicken and the Panang Curry with pork. Everything tasted delicious and was cooked perfectly. They were also able to accommodate my gluten-free dietary needs, which I really appreciated. We’ll definitely be back!“

“I’m gonna round up to five stars and give benefit of the doubt for other items. A bowl of Ramen is $15-$23. I feel like the portion size was very hearty. I had the black garlic Ramen with pork. The amount of pork was great for the bowl. They were open a little bit later till 10 PM which was nice coming in after a long flight. The lady who helped was friendly. I come here again.“

“Pho dac biet and com dac biet and win. The beef pho was surprisingly flavourful and had a lot of depth. I was a bit taken back at how good it was. Of the many places on this side of town, this was easily the best. The rice dish was decent. Pork chop was tender and nicely marinated. Not as much char as I would have liked but certainly passes for the real deal. I am happy to have found a really authentic pho experience here without going into town. Certainly worth your time!“

“This is my first time here.This place in my opinion has solid local old school tradition and not just vibes but deep Hawaii local Aura. I found out from owner Mike that they make their own noodles in house and their noodles are as good as Shige’s in Waiahawa. This place is my new favorite for local style fried noodles. Next time I come I’ll try the saimin and cheese burger, and or the chicken katsu curry or cold ginger chicken. It’s not fancy but the food is affordable and so Ono. I got the fish and chips and a mini fried Saimin.

“UPDATE: New Owners and new name: PHO LE: Vietnam Cuisine. This is not a fancy place, small little shop, with great food. Their Spring Rolls are just the way I like them...with mint, lettuce, pickled veg. And a great dipping sauce.Their phone number did not change. I called and to ask if they had indoor dining. We were the only ones there. I went back for take out. I am going to continue to patronize this business and encourage you do so too. Why? Because their food is too good to not make it in this pandemic.“

“This is a good restaurant. The staff was very accommodating for a large group with multiple kids. They have a robot that will drive around with appetizers on it if you order them. Food was relatively well priced and ultimately if you want to I think this is a pretty good spot.“

“My husband and I spent 24 hours in Honolulu and discovered this wonderful Thai Bistro! The service was very friendly and attentive to our preferences. “Our first stop in Hawaii after catching my high school basketball game was at Ramen Ya in Ewa. These restaurants offer a variety of local comfort food and you can do combos if you can’t make up your mind. We had pan fried gyoza as an appetizer. I haven’t had Mochiko chicken so thats what I ordered… plates in Hawaii usually come with white rice and macaroni salad. My son ordered the spicy ramen. The portions are huge so you have to have a big appetite or you’re taking leftovers home. The food was very good, we eat here every time we visit, my son ate here all the time when he was stationed at Hickam AFB. The restaurant is not very big and its no frills decorated which is standard for these kind of restaurants. The staff was very friendly and attentive and the prices for Hawaii are good. Definitely recommend this place if you’re hungry….“

“This place has been fueling potlucks, dinners for my family for decades and my new lunch addiction since I got back. I appreciate that they got rid of the number system and since Covid the crowds have gone down big time so everytime it's smooth sailing. Da aunties behind the counter always hook it up with big portions as always whether it's the new bowl or plate etc. While I admit I miss the furikake fried rice and the fact that spicy garlic and minit chicken is not always available and is now made to order only I do appreciate the transparency and relatively fast speed that it does come out as I can't leave without it. Also for someone who's been here forever I can't for the life of me think of why I didn't try the gau gee sooner as this is the bomb and for the price one of the best I had easily! One of the few places that refuses to change and for that will always be in my mind for all occasions!“

“Ha Long Pho is one of my "go to" stops when I'm home...and as always, the ono grindz did not disappoint!!! Summer Rolls: Very large!!! I don't remember them being as full as they were today...not sure if it was a mistake, or a new recipe. As I remember it was so fresh filled with crispy veggies!!! Definitely a 10/10!!! Seafood Pho: When it's an option, I always order seafood Pho! For those of you who know how to eat Pho, you know that beef broth is a must, no matter what style Pho you order. Most places I have to ask for beef broth as it often comes with a vegetable broth...but here, it automatically comes with beef broth. And the seafood was not chewy. I would have loved to see some other seafood represented (it only had fishcake balls and shrimp) but it didn't take away from the healthy portion and umami flavor!!! 9/10 (Only because of the variety of seafood.) COVID Protocols: I felt very comfortable at Ha Long Pho, they require proof of vaccine, or negative COVID test, to enter...and...instead of your spices being left on the table, they are pulled after each guest, I can only assume to sanitize before the next guest uses it. 10/10 for sanitation and safety!!!“

“Seafood combo on HK fried noodles was legit. I grew up eating Chinese food from Chinatown SF. This dish was on par. Noodles were perfectly crispy but not oily, oil tasted clean. Seafood was fresh and veggies plentiful. Best part the sauce was clean but had a beautiful umami flavor. Will definitely go back for this dish again and again.“
