“We had our first experience here on Valentines Day and tried their special menu with wine pairings. The food was absolutely amazing and the wine pairings were perfect! Plus our service was outstanding! Not at all what one would think they would find in the middle of a college campus. It was a great experience and we will certainly be back!“

“I'm a foreigner, visited my son who is studying in ISU. Was there from 3Feb 2022 till 18Feb 2022. Went to the place almost every other place. Love the place, its small, cosy and people are friendly. Will make a point to visit it again, when i return. Love the pancake and their cheese omelette.“

“A great local spot for delicious food. Unique offerings of Brazilian inspired foods, right in Ames! The eclectic interior features walls adorned with paper currencies from around the world, while featuring the colors of the Brazilian flag on the ceiling and around the dining room. Flags from around the world add to the charm, making this a feast for the eyes as well as the belly. Delightful and will definitely be back when visiting our Cyclone!“

“The food is good (in both places)
And the service is quick and an excellent place to study the atmosphere I'd odd since you essentially have a cafe and a Greek restaurant smashed together but both atmospheres are nice just an odd combination
Good place to people watch as well but beware of protesters as it's right by the library and people like to protest there
(Thankfully they arnt protesting the cafe)“

“In my opinion, Great Harvest has the best cinnamon rolls in the world.
Their breakfast sandwiches with the cheese biscuits are delicious too, and the staff is always super friendly. I love coming here for a quick casual breakfast or lunch.“

“Went to their Adams Family High Tea Party. Food was great, small tea party portions, finger sandwiches and they did a great job explaining about the foods and teas. There was a tea that some think tastes a little like popcorn. Being a lover of popcorn, I chose it first, I can't say it tasted like popcorn. Perhaps they used the tea pot for something else at one time and didn't get the smell/taste out. I would like to go again for the tea party or some of their other themed parties.“
“2/3/26 12:15 p.m. We shop here almost once a week. If I could do 3.5 stars, I would. 3.5/5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️ The store overall is always very well stocked. There are employees constantly making sure everything stays that way. Unfortunately, because of the mass quantity of stock, the quality is sometimes overlooked; mainly in the produce section. The produce can be hit or miss whether or not it’s gone bad and just hasn’t been pulled or is good with a few “bad apples”. The samples are definitely a nice touch while shopping and the employees handling them tend to know about the products, thankfully. Some employees seem to do everything they can to avoid being asked a question, while others go out of their way to help you, so service can be hit or miss as well. The food court is great! Lol. The low prices for the food are awesome and the food tastes great, so win-win there! Overall, this is a clean store with quite a bit to choose from, I just wish the fresh produce was better kept up with as well as the employee interactions.“

“As a queer and trans person, lately when coming down to Ames I’ve felt a bit skittish in public. I also have celiac (gluten free) and my wife has a dairy allergy so finding food in town can be a challenge to say the least. In this context, Lockwood truly felt like an oasis of sorts. I want to sincerely thank them for their work to cultivate the space they have and to thank them for giving me hope for the future of Ames itself. I feel truly seen in a positive way for once!“
