“I've always loved coming here with friends and having a morning girl date. I have even come here in the past for an evening event with drinks and appetizers, we really enjoy this place. They have good coffee. Good breakfast. The only reason I gave them 4 stars, instead of 5 is because I really wish they would bring back the crumpets. This is one of the very few places we could find that had crumpets on the menu, I really, really wish they would bring them back.“

“Both the ladies in the Chrome Cafe was very professional, courteous, friendly, & with great attitude. And my order was done in a fast & timely manner that I didn't even get comfortable in my seat to wait for the order to be done. Will definitely come back to see them two again. And yes the veggie burger & fries was cooked to perfection. Well done all around ladies. See you when I'm back in town again. Layta PS... I eat majority of the food as I was typing this lol.“

“I want to give a shout out to Early Birds restaurant in West Des Moines. Kevin was a fantastic bartender. First time I have been here. The food was amazing. I love the atmosphere. The whole concept is great. The menu… too many things to choose from. I got the Cinnamon roll French toast. Delicious. And the Hashbrown holes delicious. It was great to get an appetizer before my French toast. I have to give a shout out to Kevin as he knows everything on the menu plus he has great suggestions for drinks from the bar! Will deffinately be going back again.“

“It's a Panera, on par with any other Panera. Good bagels, never had a bad drink from here, a little compact to fit a lot of seating but not claustrophobic. Can get a lot loud and might be difficult to hear when your order is called, but the pickup area is obvious and easy to check. Overall solid place and never had any issues.“

“Picture quality 1…..food and service 10!!!! Holy moly! We don’t get our often so we bought a Groupon for Ceviche Bar! Wow!! 10/10! The food and drinks we outstanding!! We took chat GPTs recommendations and had the Ceviche to start (not your typical ceviche! More of a fish/shrimp bruschetta. I don’t even like fish…. But WOW!!! The flavors POPPED!! We are half before I remembered to take a picture) For entree we got the Cuban sandwich and the Ropa Vieja. Lord have mercy!! The flavors were CRAZY!!! Wrapped up the dessert with the Chocolate Espresso Cake

Took me back to a Cuban restaurant in Mexico!) and hubby had a Cuba Libre! He was very happy!! Service was excellent!! Go check them out!!“

“We live in Ankeny, but very often drive to the Johnston Panera to enjoy our weekly coffee/pastry date. This location is obviously managed well. It is always clean and the pastries are not over baked. The coffee bar is also always clean as is the microwave. Coffee is always fresh and if it isn't they immediately bring out a fresh pot. Also this location seems to be well staffed! Our compliments to the management and staff of this Johnston location! Well done!“
