“I am the type of person that loves positivity and giving great reviews. Give honor to where honor is due. And I give great reviews, call the managers and praise the service all the time. I have also had my share of terrible service and/or food and usually do not say a word. The experience I had this afternoon at Culvers in Ankeny was horrendous. The food that is. The drive through guy that took my order, payment and delivery was so kind and helpful. I ordered a cod dinner and was only able to eat some of the fish. The 2 sides I ordered were cheese curds and fries. Both were so cold, hard and dry. I was so disappointed. The roll that came with it was cold, hard and dry as well. The butter was good! I did eat most of the fish but it too was tough. WHAT has happened to Culvers? Don't they realize that they are not the only option for food? Sad to say but I will be going to those other options for my meals in the future. The concrete I ordered was sloppy (down side of cup) and melting but did taste good. I HATE leaving a poor review but come on Culvers. Do better. Be better. If it had been just 1 food this review would never have been written. Oh, side note. This was after the lunch rush and before dinner rush. It was close to 2. Got right into drive through with no waiting. Disappointed.“

“I ordered takeout so I didn't really experience the atmosphere. This was my first time ordering from Blaze and it was delicious! I need a gluten free crust, and had so many toppings to choose it took a while to decide. The end product was perfect. I've had gluten free pizza crust from several other places when I lived in Virginia and they weren't even close to mine from Blaze, as well as costing about $5 more for the same size. I'll be a regular there!“

“I ordered catering this weekend for a bridal party as they got ready for their big day. The sandwiches were delicious, but the service was even better! The staff went out of their way to make the process as easy as possible, allowed me to pick up before they opened, and they even provided 2 sets of condiments. The best part…..they did that without me asking. When I ordered the staff explained the boxes and I said two would be great, so I have one for the bride suite and one for the groom suite. They went out of their way to make sure it was perfect and it was!!“

“Oh my God I came 30 minutes before close, which I know is evil. I ordered a NY cheesecake and it was probably the best one I've ever had. Coming from someone who used to make them, Im very happy with it. The ratio was perfect. Every bite was so good. Whoever made that deserves a big smooch.“

“The food is always mostly full of lettuce and maybe a small scoop of meat or without lettuce is mostly cheese then. But the food is fresh or seems to be hot at all times just don't know how to portion the food being sent out. The associates seem to be nice people tho!“

“I, of course, came at rush hour and there were several cars ahead of me. Before I even ordered I was apologized to for the wait. Staff was very communicative on how long orders would be while ordering as well. As I went to pay I was apologized to again for the wait. Even with a small wait time, the acknowledgement from staff was refreshing and appreciated. The food was fresh and pf excellent quality. I really wish this location was closer to home so I could frequent it more often.“

“I had the absolute pleasure of being helped by Tim at the Subway in Ankeny today. He was working all by himself and still managed to serve everyone with such grace and ease even though his help arrived pretty late. Despite the rush, Tim kept a positive attitude, made great conversation, and was genuinely one of the kindest people I’ve come across in customer service.
I sat down and ate while watching him work, and he never once seemed stressed or overwhelmed. He was polite, efficient, and kept everything running smoothly without missing a beat. It’s clear he takes pride in his work and he’s just the kindest person. Tim truly went above and beyond, and he absolutely deserves a raise and some serious recognition!
If you’re ever in Ankeny, do yourself a favor and stop by this Subway you’ll be glad you did. Huge thank you to Tim for making my experience such a pleasant one! 🤍“
“Been to this location many times over the years. Went here fairly recently and the service is still quite good. Works with the same efficiency as always even if the employees were a bit disgruntled to be working on the first day of the new year. The location is looking a bit older, but the food is still great for the price.“

“Everything from a local standpoint was perfect. I don't like that I can't call locally to place an order, that I either get a call center or have to order online. I love the Cinnabons, which weren't an online option, so I got th4 brownies, which were amazing. I did find out that our local Pizza Hut does carry the Cinnabons and had I been able to call directly to my local Pizza Hut, I would have ordered them. My only complaint is not being able to call the local business.“

“Had not been in a Subway in quite a while. The gentleman behind the counter couldn't have been nicer. Very accommodating. Wheat bread on my Italian sub was unbelievable. Prices have definitely gone up. Fast food is no longer affordable. We were eating on the run while driving back to Kansas City, so the price wasn't that big a factor. All in all, it was a very good experience.“

“Toasted roast beef & cheddar. It was quite hot. The horseradish had kick, lemme tell ya. Store was clean, including restroom. There's a drive thru, which is nice if you don't have time to stop and eat. I saw a sign for employees about a mayo scoop. It's apparently very important.“
“I’ve been getting Panda Express at the memorial union for the past couple weeks because the food is so good, I always get white rice, orange chicken, cream cheese Rangoons and a coke. The people currently working there are so nice and they work well under pressure because the line does get really long. The prices are average for memorial union, that’s not really under their control. Good amount of food for the price, very large cups available and fortune cookie is a bonus! Would recommend“

“THANK YOU JUSTIN. We had an online order and one of the sandwiches had double meat, the tickets are odd when you look at them and its an understandable mistake. But got home to find out that it wasn't double meat. Justin went above and beyond to make it better and I REALLY appreciate that.“
