“We heard that Double Dipped had good ice cream, so we stopped by to try it for ourselves, and it lived up to the good recommendation! There were over a dozen flavors available, so we first tried a few samples. We then ordered two flavors each (one pairing in a dish, the other in a waffle cone). There are several tables if you're dining in. There are also various smoked meats, honey products, and other locally-made food and gift items in the shop.“

“We were so thankful to have Chocolaterie Stam Ames at our graduation party. The chocolate fountain was absolutely amazing and a big hit with our guests! Chocolaterie Stam Ames came to our home and not only setup the fountain but maintained it during the party. Such a lovely couple to work with. Thank you for making our graduation delicious and fun! I cannot say enough good things about the fountain and their wonderful chocolates as well. I would highly recommend them to anyone!“

“So I had placed an order threw Uber eats they sent a promotion whatever I ordered some cookies and they were NEVER delivered and Uber eat refused the refund. I called the restaurant and Uber somehow had the wrong address despite it being correct in the app. They ended up remaking the order and resent them to my correct address and included an extra cookie which is always appreciated so Thank you soo much for always providing excellent service I love coming or ordering online they're always amazing thank you thank you thank you!!!!! “The ambiance is an Ames favorite. This place has been around forever, serves large groups, food usually comes out pretty quickly. They don’t seat you unless the whole party is together. They sing happy birthday and give a discount on their ice cream. The food is mediocre, but predictable, which in some cases is important. Usually get burger & fries, then chicken strips are good. There’s something for everyone here, young and old. Great place to come with family, for the ambiance of Ames, the food doesn’t blow us away. Just the vibes are cozy.

Parking: Lunch on a Monday many spots available, there was a women’s basketball game this particular day

Kid-friendliness: Kids love this place, staff are kind to kids, they have a seating area at entrance near restrooms like a little theater and even old school candy station pay change“

“Okay, okay, okay. This was my first Culver's visit, ever! I tend to opt for privately-owned/mom & pop spots but my boyfriend is a die-hard Culver's fan so he got me some custard. I will admit...it was pretty scrumptious...perfectly smooth, and not too sweet. The burgers were also pretty fabulous. Would definitely go again...?“
