“Food is always delicious! I went in after work on Mother’s Day to take home 3 orders of shrimp fajitas and the patio and tables inside were packed. Despite staff being very busy, I still got my order in 15 min and one of the teens working at the register checked on me while I waited to see if I needed anything. I’ve always had excellent service. The margaritas are delicious as well!“

“The food was delicious, hot in temperature like it should, had a little miscommunication in the beginning with my order but was fixed no harm done. As picky as I am eating in new restaurants I was impressed very much with my meal and appearance of my plate. The ingredients on the side salad looked very fresh not like left over salad ingredients from previous days,as picky of a person that I am my hats off to them. The waitstaff was attentive but not overbearing, and our waiter in particular was so friendly and recommended the crab stuffed walleye, which was to die for! The environment was classy and intimate, yet casual enough that it felt comfortable and warm. The best part of the meal was the appetizer- the seared ahi tuna is too good for words, just trust me on this and order it! This was a great place to visit for my birthday dinner, and we definitely plan on being back.“

My last order for to go was paid for with a gift card from corporate on Dec 7th, and yet another (premium) side was missing, and the rice had a hair in it (Definitely not one of ours). Eat in experience may be different, but to go is horrible.“

“In our group, people varied on their opinions of the food from good to excellent. Chips were tasty. Salsa was good. Queso was good but not special. I considered the shredded chicken in the tacos to be very good. One person was into the chili relleno but not the beef enchilada. Pollo loco was the most enjoyed meal of the group. Portions are large. The service was on top of it.“

But today 7-11-2025, we showed up at 9:10pm and were excused out the door because the front greeter stated to us that they stopped dinning at 9pm. The waitress in-front of him looked like she felt bad and was wanting to sit us down, but the male greeter gave her a grin. The Hours for this place is 11am-10pm. What a way to loose business right at your door! Very disappointed with this !“

“Currently, this is my absolute favorite restaurant in Iowa. They have the tastiest shrimp cocktail and my favorite are the shrimp empanadas from the appetizer section of the menu. My husband loves virtually anything they serve. I can overlook that it isn't fancy and sometimes the service is a little uncoordinated when you end up with such amazing food. I see the people in the kitchen looking like they are working so hard and from the heart. Now, if you want a good laugh, I ate here ten years ago for my first time and it took me nine years before I ever would consider returning. I ordered paella with the extra $1 charge if I wanted the seafood all out of the shell instead of me doing it myself. I was eating away while in deep conversation with my family, enjoying my food, when I bit down on some random large piece of a broken shell buried in the paella. I got up and ran to the bathroom and had to spit out the shells and unfortunately parts of six of my broken teeth! So, if you order any dish with the promise of the seafood all taken from its shell; still be careful!“

“Well come in un knowing and got brave and ordered the oysters on the half shell. So wonderful to get such high quality in DSM. So bruschetta was out of this word my wife had the chicken biscuit. Fantastic So I was brave again. Shrimp and grits. The seasoning and cook on the shrimp. So so good. Service was fantastic even though I had lots of questions Didn’t always know but found out very quickly. Very happy to have such a fantastic place to enjoy in town. EVERYONE should try it out!!!!“
