“The food was good but your bartender connie was very rude. She seemed to be drinking a lot and agitated when we asked for anything. I guess I feel when you come to a place you want to feel welcome and have fun. we felt we were more of a hassle for her to help or be friendly. Definitely don't want her to wait on us again.“

“Sadly don’t recommend. Really wanted to support a small local business but the chicken and then the beef was so dried out and hard as a rock. I couldn’t even bite into my chicken wrap and wish I would have taken a picture. I’m not sure how the cooks would have missed such overcooked hard dried up chicken. For spending $55 while there I would have expected better quality food.“

“Decided to ride the bikes here July 5th. Nothing else was open which is actually the reason for going. Definitely happy we went, even if it was just by chance. Food is very good and reasonably priced. Super friendly place and it is now on our map! We will be back!“

“Many, many years ago I used to sit and drink coffee on the table outside this cafe, watching the old Fords drive down US Highway 30. The fact that this building still stands warms my old heart. Between here and the old King's Tower (Built in Tama around the same town.) Some of the old Iowa remains.“

“My wife and I ate here last night. It is nice to finally find a place that doesn't cook ALL of the juice out of a burger. We asked for Medium Rare and it was perfect! The house salad and the sweet potato fries were great as well! Highly recommend!Oh, and the service was also great!“

“St Patrick's Day float with them then went out to warm up with some great food. Nice tall cider boys cider. We started with cheese fries with bacon. Chicken nuggets with slop sauce nice spicy tangy BBQ. Hog wild sandwich had pulled pork, bacon and more yum. The food was excellent and then the country band came in lots of two stepping going on as well as line dancing the ladies should be happy I did not have my cowboy boots on ?.“
