“Stopped in after a long night at band practice. We all just wanted to quick grab a drink and some grub before heading off to our homes. Got some amazing wings, burgers, a hot roast beef sandwich and French dip. Food and service was spot on. Our quick stop kept us there for about 2 hours enjoying our food and the hospitality of our servers. Definitely going to start making Vally Inn a regular stop.“

“My husband and I live little over an hour away. We enjoy coming to the quad cities often. We by chance decided to try out Monarch Kitchen + Bar based off of their rating. All I can say is I am so impressed. Impressed with the care and quality of food. The wait staff are amazing. I am a person who doesn’t use seed oils at home. To know I can go out and eat somewhere and know the ingredients are fresh and good for you means everything. We stayed two days and ate there for lunch and came back the next day for dinner. We loved the lo mein and the garlic aioli fries, but honestly everything we tried was amazing. It is now our new favorite restaurant in the quad cities. We will definitely be back and will tell our friends. Thank you for making our trip even more special!“

“We were looking for a relaxed dinner spot when we found Big Dave and Holly's. Our food was delicious and the lady working the front was nice. My husband ordered a Root Beer float to go at the end of dinner, when she found out we were at a hotel in town for the Eagle Fest, she even included a cup with extra Root Beer. ❤️“

“Just had a wonderful dinner at Tuggers. My husband had the meatloaf, and I had the rice bowl with seared tuna…fabulous and plenty to bring some home for lunch tomorrow. The vanilla crème brûlée old fashioned and warm apple dumpling cocktails were delicious. Our son had a burger and fries and had room for the fried cookie dough, or thought he did. He revived 3 large pieces along with a glass of milk (nice touch!). The service was fantastic, and our meal arrived quickly. Would highly recommend!“

“I don’t just review restaurants for no reason. Culver’s is Culver’s in terms of food, but the employees here are exceptional. They are friendly, accommodating and go out of there way to make dining here a good experience. I’m not from the area but ate here twice in the last few days and was blown away by how great the staff was. Kudos to this location, they’ve got it figured out.“

“Food was amazing. Great & friendly staff. We were in and out in about 30-40 minutes and they were super busy but we got a table right away. Prices are great for the servings you get. Will definitely be coming back now that I know their family friendly (first time at this place so wasn't sure what to expect)“

“Grew up eating porkies. Glad to see their food and prices still beat others. Home cooked food and great prices. 3 dinners cost me $23. Anywhere else I go the least I pay for 3 dinners is $40. Do not sleep on porkies! Breakfast and dinner, both are good and never disappoint.“

“I try to never give 5 stars because someone once told me that if you were to give top ratings to everyone and everything then noone would ever try to improve. And in my humble opinion, you should always strive and there's always room for improvement! They nailed the atmosphere tho! “Last night we went to Chevin's Kitchen and Catering located inside Kavanaugh’s Hilltop Bar and Grill in Rock Island. This is the second time we have stopped in recently for the daily special. We are so glad we did. From the prompt greeting by the servers and bar staff to the made to order burger sliders with fresh cut fries everything was AMAZING! Our servers were on top of it and so friendly. The food was GREAT! If you haven’t checked this place out yet or if you have forgotten about one of the oldest bars in the neighborhood don’t snooze on this! Great food and great service! “Yesterday, Thanksgiving 2025, we experienced the Riverfront Grille for the first time. The staff were happy to see us, friendly and very attentive. Second, the food was outstanding. Turkey and ham were done to perfection, a variety of salads, soups and sides were homemade and delicious. Lastly, the overall experience (including desert) on a busy day was wonderful. Thank you Riverfront Grille…looking forward to our next visit…highly recommend them.“

“Rather than stop at one of the busy chains, I decided to have my meal at the airport prior to my flight. It was a good choice. First, my server Pam was outstanding. She was attentive and professional. The restaurant is calm and quiet, and there is lots of room. The meal was cooked just as ordered, with eggs, sausage potatoes and an English Muffin. The prices are very reasonable. Next time in Quad Cities International, I'll eat here again.“

“We chose Beef + Bourbon for our anniversary dinner yesterday. We made reservations ahead of time, and made a note with the reservation that it was our anniversary dinner. I'll get my disappointment over with first and move on to all of good. I wasn't happy with where we were seated. For whatever reason, we were stuck in the bar area. Our view to the left was the parking lot. The view to the right was the bar, which came with its own set of noise. And since we were on a main pathway, it was hard to have any conversation with the traffic and noise passing by every few minutes. I think I was expecting to sit in the beautiful other spaces they have available with dim lighting and a more romantic vibe, especially for an anniversary dinner. The food was absolutely mind blowing. Everything we had was cooked with so much thought and care. The beef medallion and crab cake appetizers really set the stage for the main course, which consisted of ribeye for both of us. Absolutely the best steak I've ever had. Tender, juicy, seasoned to perfection. My husband enjoyed asparagus with hollandaise as a side. I enjoyed a salad. Everything we devoured was absolutely top notch. Our waiter was awesome, Travis. He definitely took care of us as far as service. Very nice gentleman. I would give the food a 10000/10. I hope to be able to go back and give the ambiance another try. My fault for not speaking up while there or having the wrong set of expectations.“

“We love Miss Mamie's! We often go for special events, like birthdays and anniversaries. Usually, we get the catfish and the crab cakes. This time we went in for carry-out and got the catfish dinner, spinach salad, and beef stroganoff. “I like to order Belgian Waffles on Sunday, with a side of scrambled eggs! It normally comes with meat. They have been great about letting me switch that out tho. The price of eggs may have been the one thing that has come down 🙂 I call in my order, and pick up in 15 minutes. I really like that there is one in Bettendorf now! Don’t have to wait 30-45 minutes to get in. The menu has a great variety. They have crepes! I used to go to a place in Chicago with my Mom and sister, 30 years ago; called Magic Pan- their specialty was crepes! Yum! I love this place!“

“Chef prepared an excellent tender Prime Rib for Christmas Day dinner. My bartender/server Aleah was Awesome, energetic, polite, efficient and handled the pressures of a busy Christmas rush with ease! Next night, I had the spinach beet and artichoke salad that was delicious as was the Filet Mignon. Again, Aleah gave me an excellent dining experience and went above and beyond... Thanks for great service and food. Too bad the casino experience was not the same....“

The customer was unnecessarily offended even though there were signs stating no smoking or vaping. Riverside is very friendly and welcoming- veterans included. Great food, great staff!“
