The patio is a great setting and one of few restaurants in DSM that can offer this setting My only suggestion is to make sure the patio is regularly hosed down and absent of bird droppings. “Absolutely delicious food! I traveled half an hour to get here and it was worth it. Definitely try out the mongolian beef and yuchang shrimp! The staff were also very kind and professional and even gave out complimentary egg rolls and crab ragoons for our take-out.“

“Wongs chopsticks has the best food that I've had in years, I travel clear from Lincoln ne, just for there food its a 31/2 hours drive one way just to eat there everytime its wonderful it does not matter what dish you order it delicious, hats off to the cook he is awesome! Cheers to Wong!“

“Good food, always fresh in my experiences with eating here. Doesn't cost a lot, and if you go away hungry from their buffet, it's your own fault. Would recommend to anyone. Also I've never been grossed out by the bathroom. That's a big bonus for me. After using the restroom I like coming out feeling relieved and clean not ready to shower as soon as I get home...cause eewwwww.... So thank you for keeping up on your restroom as well as the face appearance of your restaurant.“

Unfortunately, the egg roll was cooked well on the outside but undercooked on the inside and was also very oily.“

“Huge shout out to Wasabi Johnston! My daughter wanted to go there for sushi for her bday dinner last night. I called ahead and asked if we could bring in a cake, etc... they were MORE than accommodating. They said whatever we needed! They kept it a secret until we finished our dinner. Brought out the cake, lit the candles, provided extra plates, a knife to cut it and were SO kind. Thank you guys all SO much! My daughter was thrilled (and embarrassed). Excellent dinner too!“

“Absolutely the best Asian food in all of Des Moines. Not only is the restaurant super clean, but the staff is excellent. The owners are always there putting in hard work and you can tell they just genuinely love to feed people. The portions are great. The wait time is generally a bit longer but that's because everything is prepared fresh to order. Nothing is made a head of time. I eat here as often as I can and I drive all the way from West Des Moines to do it. I really like the Phò, the Egg rolls and crab Rangoon are phenomenal! I sometimes order the Empress Chicken which is always great! Everything they make is terrific! The outside and location can fool you. The atmosphere is trendy suitable for all gatherings to socialize with an upbeat crowd where there is suitable parking with a reasonable budget friendly menu for most diets.“
