“Mother Earth Brewing in downtown Boise is a great find — relaxed, lively, and full of local charm. We discovered it while searching for the best breweries in Boise and were glad we did. The spacious outdoor patio offers plenty of seating and a welcoming vibe, perfect for enjoying a beer or even fantastic pizza from the on-site food truck, which looked (and smelled) fantastic — several people nearby were enjoying their slices. Inside, there’s ample room, a big bar, and a large TV for catching a game. The atmosphere is laid-back and friendly, including friendly dogs. Chatting with a few locals confirmed what we suspected: this spot is a Boise favorite for good reason!“

“The food and overall atmosphere was great for Sunday brunch, but apparently they employ a DJ to play music on Sundays during brunch which is so loud, it was extremely difficult to carry on a conversation let alone enjoy your meal. My ears are still ringing. My friend and I weren’t the only people in the restaurant requesting the volume to be decreased. Brunch should be a relaxing atmosphere, not feeling like you are at a night club….“

“Had breakfast this morning at at The Chef's Hut. I had no idea this restaurant was even here. I must say it was such a great experience. Loved the atmosphere, and the decorations were so cool. Wait staff was on point, our coffee was always full. Food came out quickly even though the place was busy. I had the eye opener for breakfast and I must say it was some of the best biscuits and gravy I have had. The rest of the food was top notch as well. If you want great food do yourself a favor and head to The Chef's Hut, you won't be disappointed. 10 out of 10.“

“First time visiting Moon’s Cafe downtown, and the experience was one of a kind. Firstly, you walk into the restaurant on the second floor, and the atmosphere greets you warmly. The decor of the restaurant is just so well thought out and the place is well lit, with a vintage classic style. Secondly, we were attended to by Dakota who gave us impeccable service and was very kindly attentive to us, coming to check in on us intermittently to make sure we were happy with our food and service. Lastly, I had the best Benedict I've ever tasted in all my times of trying breakfast restaurants. The heated dining patio had great atmosphere and fun music, and it felt like a place that has been enjoyed for many years. “My wife and I are retired. Today, Tuesday, we took a field trip from our home in Star to Camel's Back Park, where we hiked up to the top and enjoyed the view. We thought it would be nice to have lunch in Hyde Park, an area we enjoy, and so we tried Hyde Park Pub and Grill for the first time. The interior is full of dark wood, some TV screens for sports, and a bar area. To me, hints of an Old English Pub, which I'm sure is the ambience they're going for. Warm and comfy. The restaurant was not crowded, and we took a booth facing 13th St. Our server, a young woman with shorter hair and some facial jewelry, who was knitting a sweater (how cool!) when she was not tending customers, was our server and took great care of us. My wife had the burger and fries and I had the Fiesta Chicken Salad. My wife enjoyed her burger. My salad was tasty, though the chicken was a little dry. We will be back!“

“Last night (July 24, 2025), our peaceful Idaho Israel Alliance meet-up at Push & Pour Coffee on S. Latah St. was disrupted by a group of aggressive anti-Israel agitators. Though we had notified the café in advance and were simply enjoying our first monthly gathering, these individuals showed up shouting hostile slogans—including “death to Israel,” “death to the IDF,” and “you aren’t welcome in Idaho”—while repeatedly trying to provoke a confrontation. Despite our calm and respectful conduct, the café employee asked our group—not the disruptors—to leave, stating, “We don’t support your cause and you aren't welcome here.” We complied without fuss. The agitators remained until Boise Police arrived and professionally trespassed them from the property. We’re sharing this because no one should be harassed or removed from a business for meeting peacefully—or for being Jewish, which is exactly what this felt like. We thank Boise PD for their respectful handling of the situation and remain committed to civil discourse, mutual respect, and the freedom to assemble.- IIA.“

“First time visit. This is a gourmet style breakfast restaurant with a cool vibe. You pay a little higher price, but the staff is fantastic, the portions are great, and the atmosphere is excellent!! Their cinnamon rolls are huge. Im not marking them down, but they need extra frosting for their size and didn't have any in the kitchen.“

“This is approx my 6th taco truck to review in the Boise area as it was close to home and it opened at 10:00 am which was a plus. I ordered the carnitas and the Al Pastor street tacos and enjoyed sitting outside on the lively pick nick tables. They had then ready pretty fast and brought them on a plastic tray which was a nice idea. The carnitas taco was very tender but it needed a bit more spice and crispness and the Al Pastor street tacos were the best I have tried so far. The man and the lady were very pleasant and the price point was 2.50 per taco so they were very reasonably priced. Go support this lovely taco truck here in the Boise area.“
