“I was served the BEST chicken Parmesan I believe I’ve ever eaten. Better than Vinnie’s in Asheville, NC, and that’s a high bar. The chicken cutlet was just thin enough and it was crispy. Absolute perfection!

We ate in the bar and the bartender was delightful and was great.

My only complaint is that when the restaurant was remodeled all the windows were blacked out and the walls were painted black. It’s too dark and a little depressing. Comparing it to Chandlers, which has light open windows and dark paint, the atmosphere at Chandlers is more pleasing.

“This is where you can get tasty steak at a reasonable, mid-range price. Yes, when it’s really busy, your steak might not be cooked perfectly, and the lettuce in your salad could be browning, but it’s still flavorful. The food is best after 8pm on a weekday or before the dinner rush.

McCall is a wonderful waitress! She’s very attentive and has a fun personality. We ask for her whenever we go! My favorites are the parmesan-crusted spinach dip, strawberry & pecan salad, filet, and Chocolate Stampede with two scoops of ice cream to go (it tastes much better chilled in the fridge at 37 degrees). However, everything I’ve tried is delicious!“

“Barrel steak had a unique taste that I really enjoyed. Good steak to start with made better with the marinade and cooking. Salad and soup bar was good as well.“
