“Used to come here back in the day when they were in the same small building with the potato company. That was back in 2015. I got to watch this company flourish and go to their new location. I've tried all sorts of famous donuts in my travels but I always remember this place as being my favorite. I haven't been back since maybe 2017 since I'm on the East Coast now but hope to come back one day! No donut has compared to Guru. I still remember the one girl looked at me funny when I ordered and used my last name and had to ask to repeat it 😂. Staff were great then and hope all are well!“

“A hidden treasure, excellent baked empanadas with a delicious and wide range of fillings. Nice wine and beer selection too. The atmosphere is relaxed and service excellent. Highly recommended and hope to see them prosper. Since the Kiwi shake and bake shut, I’ve felt a little lost.. hopefully we can watch rugby here too!“

“Nice local bakery I like to support. Pies are their strength, both fruit and cream pies. Fillings are plentiful and locally sourced. I hate to admit their rolls and bread items need improvement. Simply put, they taste as if they had no salt added. Bland. Salt is essential in order to make flavors really great. I don’t know why the lack of salt, but it’s why the rolls aren’t excellent.“

“Today is my mom’s birthday and I surprised her with a trip to this bakery. I’ve looked for sweet pastry shops to eat at in Boise, and I recently heard about this place! The options looked so appetizing from outside the glass, and looked even better on a plate served in front of us! I bought 4 pastries and 2 drinks for 50$ including my tip, and this shop is top tier. Holy moly I have never tasted such exquisite, divine pastry goods in my 17 years of life. I got the apple juice, my mom got the Turkish coffee, which wasn’t too bitter but not too sweet. and for pastries we got the blueberry vanilla tart, pistachio blackberry tart, hazelnut cream choux, and caramel white chocolate choux. Everything was balanced in each flavor, texture, and creativity. My mom loved the white chocolate caramel choux, and I LOVED the blueberry vanilla tart. I damn near moaned when the flavors hit my taste buds. Next time I go that will be the only thing I order because good lord is that crafted by gods hands. This place was an absolute 10/10, i recommend this place if you want a sweet treat that won’t make you feel icky after.“

Is super nice, exceptional customer service, she went above and beyond helping us, for my teen daughters Birthday cake, and cupcakes, She did a beautiful job for my teenage daughter, trying to figure out what exactly my daughter was trying to explain what she wanted, she found a cake she really liked, and Carley did everything possible to get it as close to the colors, designs, even made her own bows for it to truly turn out perfectly, like my daughter imagined it to be, with even my daughters own twist on the cake designs, colors, etc. there was other customers that came in, and Carley was able to help those customers to their likings, prompt services, and us, while we were still browsing the bakery other yummy foods, we ended up with some of their delicious cookies, variety of choices, with my teen daughters sweet sixteen theme, Carley was helpful to help us to know what isle the stores ice cream isle , other items, too. She didn't have to, but was super awesome getting us squared away. “I love Acme Bakeshop! Their sourdough bread is my favorite - fluffy and delicious. I frequently buy loaves at the Co-Op and they are always high quality. I have also gone through the bakery for their holiday orders and the process was easy with no issues for pick-up. Their ciabatta rolls and cranberry sourdough loaf are amazing seasonal items I love having at family gatherings during the holidays. I'm happy I get to support a local business that consistently bakes the best bread!“

“I love Albertson’s. I’ve been going there since I was a kid. I often find new and interesting products, which I share in my Facebook group, Southern Idaho Foodies. Salt & Vinegar Wings ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Last night, I stopped to get a chicken breast from Albertson’s Deli. The employee who helped me and asked if I had ever tried these wings. I told her I had not. She said she was going to send me home with a free sample. When I get home, I was surprised to see that she gave me not one, but three free chicken wings! Though this is not a flavor I ever would have thought of buying, I’m glad I tried them because they are excellent! This is my first time trying Albertson’s Deli wings. I like that the skin is well cooked and the wings are very meaty. The vinegar flavor is subtle. The salt enhances the overall flavor of these wings. I would definitely buy them again. Albertsons on Broadway in Boise has a Wing Bar. Next time I’m nearby, I’m going to try as many flavors as possible. Highly Recommended!!!“

“Some good bargains. Lots of 5 for and 3 for. Bread is "day-old" but still good for toast and sandwiches. The store has a "loyalty" hole punch card, where you can collect 7 punches free products. They have daily specials and military discount Wednesdays.Only problem is the customer restrooms are always "out of order" and have been since 2020! (Hmmmm! Interesting timing.....COVID 19?!!??!)“

“Cookies are good, but not great. Service was great and fast. The place was very clean and spacious, but could use a couple of tables and chairs. The selection is always just six cookies. The prices are a bit expensive and personally, I only go there to please my wife when she has a sweet tooth…I’m a steak n potatoes type of guy. Not much more to say.“

“I go to Star, ID once a year to visit family, and we always stop to get my favorite cookies. I absolutely love the sea salt peanut butter one, and sea salt white chocolate oatmeal one. My mother-in-law comes to see us a couple of times a year. She already knows to not show up without cookies. She had to bring a bunch while I pregnant because I craved them. So these cookies are 100/10! I absolutely love them so very much!“

“We’ve been going here — which is also a Häagen-Dazs, the last 6 years. They have the BEST midnight cookies and cream milkshake! It’s my husbands favorite and I always surprise him with it. We haven’t been here since Covid hit and I went today. For a milkshake AND small little Cinnabon bites! The lady working the cash register was super nice and gentle. They’re ALWAYS such good people. Very friendly and upbeat. I haven’t had a SINGLE bad experience. I love the people here and I love the food here! The Cinnabon bites were fresh and filled with enough frosting! They were warm but not to hot, which was perfect because they were for my daughter! They’ve always been known for there amazing buns though so I’m not surprised! I’d say if you come here you should pair the Cinnabons WITH the midnight cookies and cream milkshake! Can’t go wrong!“

“We ordered cupcakes for delivery and upon delivery they were smashed and all over the box. We called Smallcakes and the customer service was amazing!! Michelle refunded us and offered to send a new box of cupcakes. We will definitely order from them again and will highly recommend! The cupcakes were delicious even smashed.“

“We came back two days in a row for the choconut cookie. The cookies are fantastic however their menu and pricing is extremely confusing and the cookies are not priced accurately. Apparently only certain cookies are included in the box but they don’t tell you that till after ordering and just add a surcharge for their cookie of the month, or certain ones. There is no signage listing this anywhere and when asked the worker could not find it on the sign either.

They definitely need new signs that show which are included and which are more.

The day we went the AC was out and it had to of been 100+ degrees in the store. I felt bad for the worker.“
