“After being turned away at a different location and arriving here 15 minutes to closing, they welcomed us and got our order done quickly and accurately. I wish I had gotten the girls name that took our order because she was very professional and kind. We had never eaten here and wanted to go quickly for them, so we wouldn’t make them late to close and she remained patient with us. She and the cook did a great job and the food tasted great. “Staff was friendly. The food portions are a healthy size. We ordered to go towards the end of the night. My order took a little longer since there was quite a few to go orders. I was offered a free drink to keep me happy because the wait time was so long. Overall, my experience was good.“

“I grab a chicken bowl from here every day. There were a couple of people waiting today and being impatient. It was only 7 minutes or so on a busy night. The kind gal upfront 'Nicole' was super sweet and respectful in letting everyone know the timing of their order and that other orders were already being processed. The food is yummy and affordable. They definitely get busy here and the food is cooked correctly. Some reviews talk about the veggies being plain but I personally like them steamed plain without seasoning, as I add their delicious custom sauce to it. I will be back every 48 to 72 hours I am sure...“

“Build your own stir fry restaurant. Pick out your own meats, vegetables and sauces and they stir fry it in front of you on a large flat grill. When you’re going down the line to fill your bowl, many of the best choices are at the end. So maybe browse what is available and then go down the line to fill your bowl. Prices are OK for what you get. There are 3 different sizes/ prices of bowls. The two old men at the grill were grumpy and not friendly or helpful and mumbling things in another language. The older couple that owns the place are nice. They helped seat us and refilled our waters and brought us our check and fortune cookies at the end. I feel like the restaurant could use a really good cleaning job and remodel but it was fine. Just older and run down place. I’ve gone there twice in the past year.“

“If I could give them 500 stars, I would! We went around to different Mongolian restaurants trying to find a really good one, and this one wins! For YEARS we keep going here and are never disappointed. We moved away for 5 years and the biggest thing we missed was this restaurant. When we moved back it was the first place we went for dinner. The employees are so sweet and friendly. 100% recommend.“

“We decided to try Happy Teriyaki last night, and I’m so glad we did! From the first bite, everything was absolutely delicious. The food was fresh, full of flavor, and the portions were huge. It’s hard to find a place where everyone in the family leaves happy, but this was definitely one of those spots.

The staff was incredibly friendly, and the whole experience made us feel welcomed and appreciated. You can tell they genuinely care about their customers and the quality of the food they serve. “I had a great feeling on walking into Rice as we walked past and admired the lovely flowers hanging in front of the outdoor patio. Inside, the ambiance is comfortable, and our servers were patient, flexible, and helpful with drink options and recommendations. The Thai iced tea was just what my partner needed. The fish tacos are a must, and amongst the best I've eaten. Our teen polished off the Pad See Ewe with steamed tofu. We went to town with the sushi menu: mixed poke salad, unagi and sake nigiri, a boat of many different sashimi, and the Surprise Roll. All solid!!
So much so, that we came back the next evening for dinner! And this time we tried the Double Deck, Crab Stuffed Salmon, Beef Short Ribs (pretty blue rice!), Massaman Short Ribs, and more Pad See Ew. Just as incredible as the previous day's lunch. Excited to try more of the menu next time!“

“This review is for the Garden City location!! I have loved this place for a long time. But unfortunately tonight my Katsu was burnt to a crisp, fried rice was as dry as the Sahara. My kids plate was the same order and not any better. My partner's orange chicken was rubbery, like it had been out for a long time. Her Katsu was burnt as well. We have eaten there so many times but the last 2 times it's been absolutely terrible as well and I feel like it was a waste of money. We made macaroni and cheese because we had to throw it out. Next time, we will have to go to the Meridian location and see if our luck is better, but it's going to be a while before we do.“
