“Close to home and the food and service was excellent ! I decided to give this restaurant another try. After not being that impressed with the old management, I decided to try it again under the new folks. Much to my surprise, they surpassed my preconceived ideas. This is a restaurant that I will now frequent often ! The food was outstanding. The service impeccable and friendly. The restaurant clean and drinks were perfection ! I could find nothing but improvements in this establishment all the way around !! Congratulations to Casa Mexico in Middleton for a job well done !! ? “Finally made it out to check this taco truck that I have been reading about. Their street tacos are at 2.00 per taco so they have a good price point. They use the yellow style tortillas and they put a pretty good amount on them. The carnitas one it was a bit dry but very favorable. The pastor one was very favorable and tender but needed a bit more seasoning just in my opinion.“

“I’m a lover of Hispanic food. I grew up in California and in Idaho I strive to find good Mexican food. This place never disappoints and the service here is great. The tacos here is the best price around, only two dollars per taco. You can’t beat that. My hot level is high and they have homemade salsa up at the register. I just wanna say thank you to the owner because this is as authentic as it gets. Everyone is so nice and the food is amazing. My kids get down on the large Spanish rice for only 5.99 and it’s huge! Best rice in town. I support this place 100%“

“First off, this family is the nicest most generous family I’ve met. They are so hardworking and do everything they can to make sure you get what you want. They catered my wedding on June 14 this year and my guests are still talking about the food. They came out and served my guests happily, I’ve had so many comments on how friendly they all were.
The restaurant is amazing as well! The birria noodles were top notch!

“My wife and I just moved to Star from Orange County, CA. We've been exploring local eateries. Today, we came here, based on Google reviews.
It is a food truck/trailer located off Main Street in the NW corner of the Star Merc parking lot. The woman that owns/runs it is most likely originally from Mexico. There is an umbrella and picnic table out in front of it, but you will most likely want to do take out.
Their specialty seems to be their tacos. They are street taco size, so I would recommend three to be satisfied. They use double tortillas, and offer pollo, asada, carnitas, and Chicharrón (for $.50 more). At $2 a taco, I think it's a good deal.
Unfortunately, when we arrived around 3:30, they were out of carnitas, which is my wife's favorite. Apparently, they had a rush on them today (note to self: come early). So we had a combination of the other three. The meat could have been seasoned a little more, but they were definitely tasty.
We will definitely be back. As former lifelong Southern Californians, we love good Mexican food. Here at Tacos Colima, we think we've found it.“

“Definitely a 5 star. Probably a 9.2 out of 10. I started with 2 Adobada, 2 Carnitas and 2 Chorizo, finished those and had to go and order 2 more, Cabeza and Adobada. They're all so good. Tortillas are good and all the meat was fantastic. Red and green salsa was fine, not amazing but very standard and complimentary to the delicious tacos. One table with an umbrella or front, parking at the shop or behind the truck. Fast and well priced ($2.50 a piece). The only downside is it's right off Garrity which makes the street noise a bit much to really Talk and conduct business. But for a quick to-go meal, this is fantastic.“

“Chapalas Restaurant, has the best Mexican Cuisine in town, Maria is the most kindest person you could ever meet. There food is so Authentic, and Delishes, and the Drinks are amazing. The atmosphere is so culture. The servers are very nice, and helpful. It is always clean in there and there is always a hostess to great you!! “I have loved every dish from here! The ceviche tacos are authentic and delicious. I do not like that the menu prices do not reflect the prices charged. I did notice a sign on the door stating so when I was leaving. If someone is eating on a budget, this may cause problems for them. This place is still worthy of 5 stars!“

“This place has been in Caldwell since I was a kid in high school. For it to be around for this long is a testament to their food and service. They have expanded their menu since the mid 70's and have updated the building a few times over the years. The inside is very clean with tables for dining in or getting your order to go. The employees are friendly and very helpful.
If in the area, stop in and try them out.“

It looked like a fairly new place and the family that runs it was super kind and thanked us for the business.I’m super picky when it comes to carne asada tacos (grew up in Mexico half my life lol) and these reminded me of home? 10/10 for sure! will definatly go back again!One heads up - don’t overdo it with the salsa. I dretched my tacos in the red and green salsa and underestimated how spicy it would be. They’re kicking my butt lol honestly though, authentic as it gets all around and reminds me of home ?“
“I have to admit that my expectations were low because traditional Mexican food on the east coast is rare as hens teeth. My wife and I were amazed to find the fresh ingredients and complimentary flavors reminded us of some of our favorite restaurants on Cozumel. My only complaint is that the food is too good for a food Truck. Mike already figured this out because he's opening a restaurant. I can't wait to see his presentation on some colorful Mexican crockery. Traditional rum, tequila, and mescal drinks would make a perfect evening.“
