“Close to home and the food and service was excellent ! I decided to give this restaurant another try. After not being that impressed with the old management, I decided to try it again under the new folks. Much to my surprise, they surpassed my preconceived ideas. This is a restaurant that I will now frequent often ! The food was outstanding. The service impeccable and friendly. The restaurant clean and drinks were perfection ! I could find nothing but improvements in this establishment all the way around !! Congratulations to Casa Mexico in Middleton for a job well done !! ? “Fantastic pricing and even better food. After moving here, we were pretty excited for all the food options we would have compared to our small mountain town prior. Unfortunately, most taco trucks were letting us down with their prices inflated, yet deflated food. $3+ tacos with 4-5 pieces of meat in them at best. These guys FINALLY showed us there is still good taco trucks around! Tacos/burritos are LOADED at less than $2/$8 a piece n this terrible economy!“

“Is not your typical Tex Mex restaurant. I would say this is more of a traditional/authentic Mexican market. They have meats and cheeses along with freshly cooked Mexican food.
I like the restaurant food there. Especially the birria de chivo.
They also have a couple stores within the building. They have the fruits/ice cream and the panadería.
Overall they have a great selection of Mexican goods.“

“Chapalas Restaurant, has the best Mexican Cuisine in town, Maria is the most kindest person you could ever meet. There food is so Authentic, and Delishes, and the Drinks are amazing. The atmosphere is so culture. The servers are very nice, and helpful. It is always clean in there and there is always a hostess to great you!! “We have now been several times and it’s always a real honest to goodness top notch treat. We look so forward and savor every bit of it. The food is authentic, so know you won’t get Tex mex enchilada combo plates. The service is the best in town. Every member of our party, each time has received special treatment. We could go elsewhere and spend the same amount of money, get a tough steak, and snarky waitstaff, without a doubt. But we love this place and will keep coming back!“

“My wife and I just moved to Star from Orange County, CA. We've been exploring local eateries. Today, we came here, based on Google reviews.
It is a food truck/trailer located off Main Street in the NW corner of the Star Merc parking lot. The woman that owns/runs it is most likely originally from Mexico. There is an umbrella and picnic table out in front of it, but you will most likely want to do take out.
Their specialty seems to be their tacos. They are street taco size, so I would recommend three to be satisfied. They use double tortillas, and offer pollo, asada, carnitas, and Chicharrón (for $.50 more). At $2 a taco, I think it's a good deal.
Unfortunately, when we arrived around 3:30, they were out of carnitas, which is my wife's favorite. Apparently, they had a rush on them today (note to self: come early). So we had a combination of the other three. The meat could have been seasoned a little more, but they were definitely tasty.
We will definitely be back. As former lifelong Southern Californians, we love good Mexican food. Here at Tacos Colima, we think we've found it.“

“This place has been in Caldwell since I was a kid in high school. For it to be around for this long is a testament to their food and service. They have expanded their menu since the mid 70's and have updated the building a few times over the years. The inside is very clean with tables for dining in or getting your order to go. The employees are friendly and very helpful.
If in the area, stop in and try them out.“

“I finally made it to this fabulous restaurant. I have always seen the parking lot full to overflowing with cars. I, 100%, was not disappointed. This is one of the best Mexican restaurants outside of San Diego Old Town that I have ever been to, hands down. The place is small, yet cozy. They are efficient and professional. Their service is outstanding, and the owners are so down to earth and friendly. Their food display is off the charts and the flavors, OMG!! I highly recommend Pollos y Mariscos El Guero on a 10 out of 10.“

“Enjoyed a nice quiet dinner for Labor Day. Amazing service constantly checked on to see how everything was going. Food was delicious and the lime added to my beverage was well appreciated. Music was playing but wasn't loud just enough to hear it to prevent the silence. Would recommend. Salsa Verde and a roasted jalapeño was requested with the meal and that was happily supplied.“

“I usually don't eat fast food, but today I was in a hurry and didn't have time to find something else. But I'm glad because that brought me to this Taco Time at 3rd & 10th in Nampa. I was very pleasantly surprised at how clean and tidy everything was, even the restroom which, sadly, is rare these days. Everything about this establishment expressed care and professionalism and pride. But the most impressive thing about this place was the lady who served me. Her name is TJ and she deserves to be recognized. She immediately engaged with me as a person, not just another tab to ring up, she was just ebullient in the pride she took in her work and interacting with her was the highlight of my day. Because of the outstanding service she gave me I will gladly recommend this business to anyone. I don't live in Nampa but business brings me here often and I look forward to coming back here, if for no other reason than to be blessed by this remarkable person, TJ.“

“I always get a Carne Asada street taco to see if a taco truck is good.
Well let me just tell you. Their Carne Asada is GOOD.
It was so good I was dancing in my seat. I seriously had to close my eyes and take small bites to savor every single bite. I was in heaven. I am sold. This will forever be my favorite Taco truck in Nampa. Not to mention the price is fantastic!!!

“Vegetarian options: The refried beans contain lard but the whole pinto beans do not. I got a burrito with beans, guacamole and pico de gallo, which I would definitely order again. You gotta tell them you don't want cheese if you're vegan, because I once asked for a bean burrito (which is a separate menu item from the bean and cheese burrito) and it had cheese in it.“
