“My family and I went to eat here on a Sunday evening for an early dinner. I highly recommend calling ahead to see if there is a wait. This seems to be a popular place. We went around 4-5pm. As the evening goes on, it becomes busier, and it was nice to enjoy the quieter setting before things pick up. Their wait staff are attentive and kind. They work hard and make sure you are taken care of without over bugging you! The style of the restaurant is unique and clever, including artwork with cows, aliens, and a mix of farmhouse. The misfit and retro style seems to work for them. When the weather permits, they have a roll-up door in the front half of the restaurant that gives you a nice breeze of fresh air. I love their atmosphere. I had their Pineapple Express burger and fries. I 10/10 recommended this burger (personally I take off the mustard aioli or have it on the side)! This burger has so much flavor between the burger, ham, pineapple, and I like it with the pickles. Perfect hidden gem for Nampa!“

“I haven't been in Nampa in years. I was in the area for a doctor's appointment. I left Boise really early so it gave me a chance to find a bite to eat somewhere new. Little Saigon has been on my to go list for a while so today was a good day to try it out.

The restaurant is located old Downtown Nampa. Such a cool vibe down here. I lived in Nampa a long time ago and never knew about this area. It was pretty cool to check out. It is different that this restaurant is surrounded by antique stores. I thought I was in the wrong building cause I all I saw were the small shops. But what a great way to work off your meal, go walk around the antique stores and check out their goods.

The venue is small and intimate. There were a few guests eating and enjoying their food. I got sat at a bar table by the window. I wanted to try their pho here. It's almost mandatory to try pho at a Vietnamese joint. But I didn't want to be stuffed with rice noodles so I went with the tofu and mixed veggies. I was kinda surprised they didn't have a lunch menu but a dinner portion of tofu and veggies shouldn't be too filling.

My tofu and veggies looked great! My veggies looked fresh. I got a few good sized chunks of tofu. I drizzled some Sriracha sauce and dug in. It was made super fresh! The brocolli was so hot when I took a bite of it. Stir fried cabbage will always be my favorite. The sauce was not too salty and had great flavor. My tofu was disappointing despite of how good everything else was. It was dry, hard and store bought. I have had similar tofu like this that I have purchased from the Asian market. As the main star of the dish, it was such a miss. Having fresh fried tofu would have made this dish amazing but overall it was still good.

Service was decent. My food was dropped off and wasn't really checked up on till I was waiting for me bill. The veggies were fresh and you get a nice variety of them but the tofu could have been better. The venue is in a pretty cool location. There's a store that I really wanted to check out after lunch but they are only open Friday and Saturday. It's cool I got to check this joint out. Next time I'll have to check out the pho. But it was dope that I got to come in and support a local business today.“

“We hadn't been to Honkers in quite some time, after moving further away from Nampa. Honkers used to be my husband's go to diner, he has taken many friends there over the years. We were in town and decided to drop in. Since our last visit the hours have changed, they close early on weekdays (2pm) But we made it just in time. The service is wonderful and the food is just how we remember it, home style and yummy! We've celebrated a couple Birthdays here over the years too, the service is top tier, they made my little girl birthday pancakes one year, and on this visit they loaded up a bag full of pancakes, on the house at the end of our meal. Exceptional customer service! We scoured downtown for needy folks to hand them out to but unlike years past we couldn't find a single.soul. That's a good thing though, hopefully everyone had a safe place to be. Honkers also has a punch card now, so go, run, give some love to this gem in the heart of Nampa!“

“Recently moved into the Nampa area from meridian. The Getaway has rapidly become one of my go-to places for food and drink. At a great price! haven't had anything bad off the menu yet. personal favorite is the Idaho dip! Along with the Tater kegs or pretzels for an appetizer are a must. The place has a good atmosphere around it. with a couple of pool tables and outside seating area. will continue to be a weekend spot for myself!“

“I've only gone here for lunch, and usually early. So I probably see the buffet system at its best, full inserts and hot food. But I also start out over at the Mongolian section and love picking out meats and vegetables and noodles and seeing it cooked on a flat top griddle and presented to me hot. I've leaned to add lots more quantities of the various sauces as they cook down and get diluted as the chefs make sure the mean is fully cooked and the vegetables browned or crisped up. So the flavors really improve. Love it and the sushi station and visiting the myriad of chicken dishes and fried items. I'm sure its a challenge to continue to refresh, but going early in the meal period works out very well. recommend it.“

“Of all the Golden Corral locations that I have been to, this has to be one of the better locations I've been to. The only reason for it not being full 5 stars is the fact that it's still just corporate chain restaurant food. Keep it up though. This is way better then most locations.

“We came from Nimiipuu Rez to watch our Girls team take State (Party of 4). After watching the girls WIN, we decided to find something to eat. We enjoyed bread sticks, pepperoni pizza, salad, and also the Sawtooth pizza. My brother's have recommended this place to me before, but I'm always reluctant to try new places in fear of disappointment. This place did NOT disappoint. The service from beginning to finish was EXCELLENT! I loved the crust flavor, the fresh toppings, all cooked to perfection. Not dough-y at all. Overall the pizza was delicious and the staff were very friendly and quick service. I will be going back next time we're down here. Highly recommend.“

“It was a typical Chinese buffet style sitting area and the staff was kind and helpful! The fried rice was super yummy and the orange chicken was a huge hit for my kids! But the almond chicken wasn't very good. Not a bad experience but definitely would try the buffet instead of take out to try things a little at a time!“

“My family of four went to Smokey Mountain late Sunday night for dinner. Our waiter was the absolute best!! My husband and kids all had personal pizzas. My daughter’s plate was very hot and with her being so young he was worried about her burning her hands so he went back and got a cooler plate for her to use. He also noted that the bread that came with my fettuccine wasn’t as fresh so he brought me fresh out of the oven bread. He kept up on all our drinks and when it was time for us to pay he brought our ticket and mentioned that because it was Sunday, kids eat free. We had no idea!! Then he brought graham crackers baggies for our kids to enjoy on the way home. He was seriously the best waiter we’ve had in a long time and we made sure he got the best tip for how much effort he put into serving our table. I wish I could mention his name but I forgot to ask. When my husband asked if they had sweet tea to drink he said unfortunately no and how much he wished they did because he was from the south. The food was great but what really highlighted our experience was our amazing waiter!!“
