“Best burger of my life! The Bootlegger. The bacon jam was the jam! The grilled onions were grilled perfectly. The Almquist burger with the ham and fried egg was a meal in itself. Service was excellent.“

“We stayed the weekend at the Brooks just to get out of town. Check in was a breeze even though it was late. I’ve seen some negative reviews but honestly, what I see here is a hard working family, preserving a family legacy with a lot of blood, sweat , tears and hard work. They are fixing this place up, one room at a time. The restaurant was so good and the employees are super friendly and happy. I always look for places like this when I’m going somewhere. It’s much more of an adventure than a chain hotel. This Mother-daughter team are working long, hard hours to refurbish this old building but still preserving the historic Beauty of it. I’ll go back here regularly.“

The restaurant building is full of old timey character and is charming and clean. We eat here every chance we get. I absolutely recommend them to everyone that enjoys a good meal!“

“We had dinner tonight after my sons football game and it was quite possibly the best dinner we’ve had in a LONG time from ANYWHERE lol It’s been 2 hours and the kids are still talking about the bacon Mac n cheese 🤣 my husband and I had the jalapeno popper burgers and those were TO DIE FOR as well!
