“I play for pool league out of this location, so I have to be here, but the tater tots are really what keeps me coming back! They are the best around, if you ask for them extra crispy they are very accommodating and do it with no issue! I’ve slowly started to explore the menu because you can never miss with the tots! If you’re a potato enthusiast, I highly recommend checking this place out! You’ll want to eat every last one and maybe ask for more!“

“The staff have been really rude to me ever since I pointed out that my tab was wrong and I was overcharged. I wasn't upset about the double charges, I just wanted them corrected. I've barely been waited on since then it seems. I tried to step in a help once when a patron had been over served. It wasn't welcomed at all. I was given the same look as I get when I walk up to the bar to get a drink. Too bad, it's really close to home to me. I haven't been in over a year and have no plans on returning.“

“Me and my husband went there this past Friday with our two kids to have dinner. It was our first time there and for a Friday it was surpisingly not busy. Maybe that is because of all the outdoor festivals that is going on now. But as soon as we sat down a a short Blonde server who was dressed in all black greeted us and gave us menus. Our server was very nice and told us the specials and what pop products they have. We asked her what does she recommend from here. She then told us that they are well known for their broasted wings and broasted chicken dinner. I then asked what is her favorite from the menu. She said the chicken avocado melt, the wings and broasted chicken dinner. So we chose the wings and the chicken avocado melt. She then told us about their summer special that kids eat free, one kids meal per one adult order of an Entree on Friday, Saterday and Sunday from 4 pm to 7 pm. We told her wow that is a nice special. This place is huge and has alot of Arcade games, Air Hockey, Basketball hoop game, Darts and other games to occupy the kids. They have tons of projector T.V. and flat T.V. and have on all types of sports to watch since it is a sports bar and grill. All we can say was that our server did not let us down. She was spot on with her recommendations as the wings were big, juicy and delicouse. As well as the chicken avocado melt was just so good. Also the kids liked their meals and the free Ice cream that came with it. Overall we enjoyed our dinner, our time there, and the service. We just found a new spot that we will be comming back too.“

Sports oriented. Did not check out the menu. We just ordered a beverage. Wait staff was kind, cheerful, and attentive. They have a nice patio as well. A great place to relax as you wait for a train or a great place to unwind after a day downtown and long train ride.“

“We went here for a Friday night fish fry. We did carry out but they are open to the public. Fried cod, baked potato and coleslaw. Myhusband liked the fish alot but said it needed a little lemon or something to spice it up. I had fried shrimp which were very large with a baked potato and coleslaw. The coleslaw was not that great, but we enjoyed the rest of the meal alot. I would recommend this place for a good inexpensive fish fry.“

“Poor service and horrible beer. I ordered a brew dog hazy IPA and the waitress brought me some kind of red ale which is clearly not a hazy IPA. See attachment for what the beer should look like and what they brought me. Waitress does nothing to remediate the situation. Never seen such a poorly run business. Staff have bad attitudes and beer was definitely not right. Maybe it was spoiled or they substituted a cheaper product. Do not go here.“

“We held my father’s Celebration of Life at Fireside Grille, and I can’t say enough good things about our experience. When the manager, Zach, learned the reason for our gathering, he immediately went out of his way to make it possible even though the private room were already reserved. The entire team was wonderful to work with, the food was absolutely amazing, and everyone kept commenting on how delicious everything was. Our server, Lupe, was superb as always as well as the rest of the staff. Everyone was attentive, kind, and professional. I highly recommend Fireside Grille for any celebration or special occasion. They truly went above and beyond for our family.“

I recommend this place 100%, the drinks are good, the bartenders are friendly, and the Viper Burger was our favorite. Alan is an awesome guy with a great sense of humor. “Nice upscale feel restaurant. Good food, nice live music. I had a filet(slightly overdone) and my wife had a delicious hanger steak. Came with nice rustic grilled vegetables and we ordered a side of whipped potatoes. It's really nice that sides are reasonable is size and price—not oversized like the big steakhouse places.“

“Not only have I loved Hawthornes from when I was a kid growing up in West Chicago! It was the PERFECT place to have my wedding. Lou, Heidi and Kelly did fantastic and helped make my dream come alive! Every question I had they answered and were able to accommodate so much! Heidi was in CONSTANT communication with me and was able to give advice and help me through the whole process. Her suggestions were so helpful and she helped during the ceremony and reception. I could not have done it without them. This place treats you like family and has amazing service! When my husband and I went to pick up our things the next morning we were planning on taking 2 trips and Lou let us borrow his truck that is how amazing and friendly they are! WE LOVE YOU HAWTHORNES! Thanks for making our wedding the best day of our lives(: not to mention EVERY guest couldn’t stop talking about how fun the venue was and there was something for everyone to do, wiffleball, volleyball, giant beer pong, bags, dancing, and more! “This was my second ever visit in three weeks, both because of events at Arcada. My first visit, which was on a Saturday, was great! My friend and I were promptly waited on, the server was informative and attentive and our food came out quickly. My second visit was a little less impressive. The restaurant was quite full and understaffed. We were given water right away, but waited quite awhile until our server returned to get our drink order. Then again to get our food order. Thankfully the food came out quickly, as we were already running late for the start of the show. As the first visit, there are absolutely no complaints about our entrees. The food was very good!! Looking forward to another show and visit to the restaurant to try something new yet again.“

“Great bar and great food. The wings are very good, wet or dry, there are a lot of options, I usually go with the Cajun dry rub.. Bingo is Wednesday night and a lot of fun, plus the wings are half off that day. Burgers are excellent. Jackie is fun and is always lively. Good people there too. And some slots if you’re into that.“
