“This place is the coolest bar I have been to in a long time, hip and fun but not pretentious. They paid attention to every detail when building and designing. The white marbel bar has clean lines and looks fresh. All of the hardware finishes look sharp and clean. The patio is large and inviting with a fire place and plenty of tables to sit at. The drink menu is creative and refreshing and the staff is kind and welcoming. I cannot say enough good things about this gem of a bar. I am excited to hang out this fall on the patio by the fireplace with good drink in My hand.“

“I am late writing my review but I had to write it !! I visited provare chicago On july 8th !! From start to finish this restaurant gets 5 starts . The decor was nice and set a perfect atmosphere for a great night . We were greeted immediately upon arrival and seated within 5 minutes of being there . Once seated the wait staff began their introduction's on drinks and popular menu item's. After my party ordered drinks and appetizers a gentleman came over (not sure if he was the manager) and introduce himself and made sure we were having a great experience. Appetizers were amazing!! We couldn't wait for dinner!! Our entrées we just as good if not better ! Everything was cooked and seasoned to perfection! When we didn't think the night could get even better the entire wait staff and the gentleman that came over before stopped and recognized my friend for her birthday and brought over a birthday surprise!! I live 307 miles and this place was definitely worth the drive !!!“

The hospitality was warm and welcoming, the drinks were perfect, we definitely recommend the spicy marg or the PS I kinda like you. “We finally got to check this place out. Located next to Mon Ami Gabi, you enter through the magnificent lobby. Inside is decorated sparsely but with warmth. We sat near the window for brunch and it was not at all busy at Saturday 10am. It’s probably not the first pick for brunch since their menu is not heavily focused on egg dishes (but they featured baked goods trays which I promised myself to try when I bring a larger family here). They relocated to this new space last fall but I had not really noticed from outside in my walks. The menu is very Asian-fusion and food was high quality and creative. I preferred theirs to North Pond actually. Theirs have more flavor overall. We ordered Maine Lobster Dumplings, Warm Mushroom Salad (this was a hit. I’m going to try to recreate the roasted mushroom at home) and truffle croquettes, pork noodle served in Korean earthen pot and salmon tartine. The first two dishes are really memorable flavors. They were generous with Mimosa and J enjoyed Mezcal shots each with pickle brine and watermelon. Think dirty martini but with more zing! which I appreciated. We want to come back for their happy hour and try other dishes. So glad to find this gem today. Service was prompt and with smiles.“

“We happened upon this restaurant during a visit from New England. It was the best meal we had in Chicago. The restaurant is fabulous! We had delicious soup with incredible warm rolls, salad and 4 different amazing entrees. The restaurant has great windows to enjoy natural light and is quiet enough to have a conversation. The cocktails are thoughtfully made, balanced, and clearly handled by someone who respects the art behind them. This is the kind of bar you come to when you want quality, not just a drink.

I’ll absolutely be back here often and will gladly recommend Revolver whenever I can. Bonus points for the daily happy hour from 5:00–6:30 PM — honestly a no-brainer.

El día de hoy, martes 26 de noviembre, llegué a cenar a las 8:45 pm confiando en la información publicada en sus redes sociales, donde claramente se especifica que el horario de cierre es a las 11:00 pm. No obstante, a las 9:30 pm ya se estaba anunciando el "último llamado" para bebidas alcohólicas. Además, durante mi estancia, fui testigo de cómo dos familias fueron rechazadas para cenar por el mismo motivo: el restaurante estaba cerrando antes de tiempo debido a "la falta de clientes". Entiendo que puedan surgir situaciones operativas, pero considero que este tipo de decisiones impacta negativamente en la experiencia de sus clientes. Cuando se anuncia un horario de cierre, los clientes planeamos nuestras visitas en base a esa información. De no ser posible mantener el horario anunciado, sería más transparente ajustarlo oficialmente en sus plataformas para que las personas puedan planear con anticipación y, en caso necesario, optar por otras opciones. Por último, quiero mencionar que esta inconformidad fue compartida con nuestra mesera, quien nos escuchó con amabilidad. Sin embargo, creo que esta situación requiere un ajuste desde la gerencia para evitar malentendidos en el futuro. It was cold and snowy, so we decided to chance it in case the line was short since we were in the neighborhood anyway. In the end it took less than 10 minutes for 2 of us to get in around 10:30.

Their focus is martini riffs, but everything else was great too. The Counterpoint was my favorite drink of the night, my partner’s was the French 75.

Given the vibes, I tried asking for an Old Pal off menu too, and they said yes without hesitation and did a great job.

The neighborhood has a lot of great cocktail bars, but few that are quiet enough to settle into a long chat. We’ll definitely be back“
