“This place is the coolest bar I have been to in a long time, hip and fun but not pretentious. They paid attention to every detail when building and designing. The white marbel bar has clean lines and looks fresh. All of the hardware finishes look sharp and clean. The patio is large and inviting with a fire place and plenty of tables to sit at. The drink menu is creative and refreshing and the staff is kind and welcoming. I cannot say enough good things about this gem of a bar. “I am late writing my review but I had to write it !! I visited provare chicago On july 8th !! From start to finish this restaurant gets 5 starts . The decor was nice and set a perfect atmosphere for a great night . We were greeted immediately upon arrival and seated within 5 minutes of being there . Once seated the wait staff began their introduction's on drinks and popular menu item's. After my party ordered drinks and appetizers a gentleman came over (not sure if he was the manager) and introduce himself and made sure we were having a great experience. Appetizers were amazing!! We couldn't wait for dinner!! Our entrées we just as good if not better ! Everything was cooked and seasoned to perfection! When we didn't think the night could get even better the entire wait staff and the gentleman that came over before stopped and recognized my friend for her birthday and brought over a birthday surprise!! I live 307 miles and this place was definitely worth the drive !!!“

“My friend brought me here as she's been wanting to try brunch after having a wonderful dinner experience. This brunch was INCREDIBLE! We sat at the bar since we didn't book table resys in advance (our bad) but we felt well taken care of by the staff. They checked on us regularly and made sure we were good, as if we were at a table with wait service.

We did the bottomless mimosas and they made sure to keep our glasses full, never had to ask for a refill. Our meals were delicious, we both had the carne asada bowl and I added a side of plantains. Skirt steak was cooked to perfection.

The best part of our trip was the family atmosphere, you can tell they take pride in what they are providing for customers. I would definitely come back again and will be bringing my family for the experience.“

No obstante, a las 9:30 pm ya se estaba anunciando el "último llamado" para bebidas alcohólicas. Además, durante mi estancia, fui testigo de cómo dos familias fueron rechazadas para cenar por el mismo motivo: el restaurante estaba cerrando antes de tiempo debido a "la falta de clientes". Entiendo que puedan surgir situaciones operativas, pero considero que este tipo de decisiones impacta negativamente en la experiencia de sus clientes. Cuando se anuncia un horario de cierre, los clientes planeamos nuestras visitas en base a esa información. De no ser posible mantener el horario anunciado, sería más transparente ajustarlo oficialmente en sus plataformas para que las personas puedan planear con anticipación y, en caso necesario, optar por otras opciones. Por último, quiero mencionar que esta inconformidad fue compartida con nuestra mesera, quien nos escuchó con amabilidad. Sin embargo, creo que esta situación requiere un ajuste desde la gerencia para evitar malentendidos en el futuro. It was cold and snowy, so we decided to chance it in case the line was short since we were in the neighborhood anyway. In the end it took less than 10 minutes for 2 of us to get in around 10:30.

Their focus is martini riffs, but everything else was great too. The Counterpoint was my favorite drink of the night, my partner’s was the French 75.

Given the vibes, I tried asking for an Old Pal off menu too, and they said yes without hesitation and did a great job.

The neighborhood has a lot of great cocktail bars, but few that are quiet enough to settle into a long chat. We’ll definitely be back“

The Aviary in Chicago is definitely a unique and memorable experience. The drinks are incredibly creative and presented in ways you probably won’t see anywhere else. Every cocktail feels like a little performance, and the staff does a great job explaining the ingredients and concepts behind them. The atmosphere is modern and stylish, which makes it a great place for a special night out.

The only downside is that it’s a bit overpriced for what you get, but you’re really paying for the experience and creativity as much as the drinks themselves. If you enjoy trying interesting, experimental cocktails and don’t mind spending a little extra, it’s definitely worth checking out at least once.“
