Everything is fresh and cooked to order, which you can really taste. The chicken came out hot, juicy, and perfectly grilled with that nice char flavor you want from peri-peri. Nothing felt pre-made or sitting around — they clearly make it when you order.
The service was fast and super friendly too. Staff was welcoming, helpful with recommendations, and kept things moving quickly even during busy time.
The real stars though are the sauces:
• 🌶️ Medium spicy peri-peri sauce – perfect heat level with tons of flavor
• 🧄 Garlic sauce – creamy, rich, and absolutely addictive
Get both on the side — trust me, you’ll want extra for dipping everything.

“I go out of my way to come to this location whenever I'm traveling through the Chicago area. I especially enjoyed the corn fritters and their coleslaw, made with a vinegar base. I have been eating at White Fence Farm for over fifty years and I don't miss it when I have an opportunity to stop for an excellent meal!“

“The food was absolutely delicious and comforting! The mac and cheese was creamy and perfectly cheesy, the chili bowls were rich and full of flavor with just the right amount of spice, and the soup had a nice homemade warmth to it. The chocolate bar was a fun surprise — unique presentation and really tasty. Everything came neatly packed and still hot. Definitely worth ordering again!“

“Grabbed this to go on a whim and really enjoyed what I had. Ordered medium and it was a good spice level, but if you are sensative to spice, I would opt for the mild as it was hotter than I expected. Their portions are great for the price too. Was worried when I saw waffel fries because you usually only get a handful, but their bag was loaded. Will be coming back for sure.“

“The chicken tenders were a good size, the breading was yummy and crunchy, and the chicken was juicy. The honey biscuits were good too. We got plenty of food for the price. For three people we got enough for two meals for a total of $50. The people working there were very nice and the food was ready when I got there to pick it up. Easy to order online.“

They also look just really put-together and stylish (just an aesthetic thing I noticed). It's also really clean with real flowers on each table, and just very pleasant. “Very nice and friendly workers. Always some kind of deal on chicken. My favorite deal is cold chicken. You can get eight pieces of cold chicken if they have any for about $5. They are still one of the only chicken places that you can get livers, gizzards and hush puppies. All cooked to perfection and their delicious crunchy breading.“

“1st time beign here after passing it every time for the past 10 years. You walk into a clean fresh bright joint greeted by the women. Menu on the tvs are clean. There is no dirty corner to me that screams alott about the place. So super props for that. Ordered a 2 item fish special. Perch & catfish and comes with fried and a slice of bread. Easy on lemon pepper. And double fried. It was a great experience. Food was delicious. I wasn’t expecting this place to be clean the way it was tho.“
