“So, Babe had a taste for a blueberry muffin. We decided to stop in here. They did not have any muffins available at the moment BUT they had a blueberry donut. Needless to say, we walked out with a dozen assorted donuts. I've already eaten 3 and my taste buds are EXTREMELY satisfied 😍 The staff was super friendly and the establishment was very clean. “OMG WOW! Amazing bakery! I go to tons of bakeries & I think this is the best one in Oak Park & one of the best in Chicagoland! I LOVED everything I tried from the cookies, to muffins to scones. Super high quality & extremely fresh products. Some of the pastries were still warm from the oven as I got there right at 8 am when they open. Even then, there was a little line out the door. Many people got coffee drinks but I didn’t this time. They also have $2 wonky cookies (just weirdly shaped cookies) that are a great deal. I tried: chocolate chip cookie, banana bread, vegan chocolate muffin (extra delish), goat cheese chili scone (excellent) & the wonky birthday cookie (amazing & buttery - melts in your mouth). Can’t wait to go back & try other things! Please note the place is tiny with only a few tables & chairs & there’s metered street parking so I took my order to go.

10.25.24 update: the kale salad done is truly amazing! The toasted coconut cake was sooo good and the chiffon cake was delightful. The savory corn biscuit was good but I preferred the scone, which is totally worth traveling for.“

Much smaller and worse of all , what happened to the chocolate coating on the donuts. Did you run out? They use to be smothered with chocolate. Very disappointed.“

“Good food, good service but the prices are very high, they charge you for coffee and food as if you were in a restaurant in downtown Chicago. I like to support small businesses but when they charge you more than $4 for a coffee I think it's too much.“

“So today I had a friend in from out of town and we topped off our afternoon with a visit to Miski Bakery. I was dying to try the alfajores, and they did not disappoint! The very delicate morsels melted in our mouth, and the creamy luscious dollop of dulce de leche caramel was a perfect pairing. In addition we tried the Milhojas/Napoleons in two flavors the Lucuma pastry creme and also the dulce de leche. A thousand layers is correct, these were amazingly tall, crispy and filled with air, both were delicious but the Lucuma(a Peruvian fruit) pastry creme was the standout. It had such a delightful delicate flavor I had never tasted previously. After speaking with Carmen the owner I asked whether or not they ever carried Turrón de doñja Pepa. She just happened to have some freshly baked sitting on the tray behind the counter, but alas it was still awaiting its filling. This gives me a great reason to return and indulge in that special treat. It is prepared every other week. The service was warm and friendly. This is definitely a hidden gem in the neighborhood you shouldn't miss out on. I will be returning often.“

Just pull in the front parking lot (North side) and walk in. The prices are like stepping back in time to the 80's with everything being super affordable.The sandwiches here are bigger, fresher, and cheaper than any of the chain sandwich shops. Not the mention the customer service is some of the friendliest I have encountered in literally years.If you drive past this place to go somewhere else for a sandwich, you are doing yourself a huge disservice.“

We tried the chocolate chip cookie and it had big chunks of chocolate and a very good flavor. It was a big cookie that could be shared by two people.
