“New management. The fries are now fresh cut instead of crinkled. I ordered a double cheese burger. It was delicious and huge. I actually had to eat it with a knife and fork. You are now advised, chili was good but very SPICY. Tamale is the normal american kind. Very happy with my take out.“

“This McDonald's has become my go-to in the area, and for good reason! While no place is perfect, the very few mistakes I've encountered here over numerous visits have been corrected quickly and with a smile. That's a testament to their truly kind and efficient staff.
Their positive attitude is infectious; it's easy to be kind in return when you're met with such consistently good vibes. It makes the whole experience, whether I'm using the drive-thru or opting for curbside pickup, genuinely pleasant.
The food is reliably good, hitting that classic McDonald's spot every time. Coupled with the great employees, it’s a winning combination that sets this location apart. I can't speak to the interior since I haven't been inside, but the exterior is always kept impressively clean, which I appreciate. “Passing through ORD, of course I'm going to get a Chicago dog. But even the best laid plans get sidetracked!

There are terminals you can order from, and while I was putting in my order, a staffer suggested their Maxwell Street hot dog (prepped by the amazing Oumar) - their only grilled offering! - and I couldn't resist. She was friendly and I went along with it.

Worth a visit if you're craving a hot dog and have a layover.

“I took my two boys here for dinner and food was excellent!!! I felt that we got plenty of food for the price, especially when the boys got ice cream shakes. We wanted to try the funnel cake and they ended up not making us pay(which was around $15). They said it was on them, nothing wrong with it, they just wanted to do it for my boys. I haven’t had a place do this for me for a while, especially since times are hard for businesses these days. I would highly recommend this place.“

“Nice spot to have a quick bite to eat. They have decent menu offering. The items we tasted so far have been great, good flavor and decent portions. Some items seem to have smaller portions for the price. Last time I had a spicy chicken sandwich wich is one of their new menu offerings, chicken portion was tiny. They only allow one refill on fountain drinks.“

I remember going here as a little girl with my grandma, my parents, and now as an adult, and it’s never diminished in quality or decreased in quaint coziness. “I tried to order and the girl didn't understand English nor Spanish. She wanted to take the order but because of language barrier she got someone else. Guy was nice and recommended a pomegranate something cause I didn't like. Be careful the were charging me $1.49 fir sauces without telling me. He made it sound like they came free with chicken wings. I also asked him if onion rings were beer battered or breaded? He had no clue what that meant. Btw they are breaded and pretty good. They had good fries too. My daughter got a burger I think she liked. They have a cool machine to take a picture but its broken in back. I wanted the $20 wings but dude rang me fir two 10 pieces at $24. I corrected him in the end overcharging me $4. With experience of ringing my food not the best. Btw buffalo wings way better than the plain wings. Plain wings were looking disgusting and was super flavorless and bit cooked all the way. I went home a put in airfryer.“

“Astonishing that it's still around. I was 10 when it opened in 1948 and to get a double decker at HH was close to heaven. Across the street was Prince Castle, long gone, where you could get a slider for much less money. HH was a splurge and it's wonderful to see it live today.“

“This used to be our absolute favorite spot. My friends and I would come here several times a week, and we loved the familiar faces on the staff. Sadly, things have drastically changed for the worse. ​We noticed the staff began turning over constantly, and after speaking with some of the remaining employees, we found out why: the owner is reportedly keeping 40% of the servers' tips. Under Illinois law, tips belong entirely to the staff, and an owner taking a cut is entirely illegal. ​It breaks our heart to walk away from a place we loved, but our group has decided to take our business to other local spots that actually respect and support their employees. We won't be back until management corrects this and treats their staff fairly.“
