“Decided to try Sammy’s tamales, a newer addition to our neighborhood, after our old tamale spot falling way off. This place did not disappoint!!! My mom and I tried the chicken in salsa verde and salsa rojo, as well as rajas con queso (spicy), and they were so good. Perfect meat, salsa, masa ratio, not undercooked or dry, perfect flavor! Will definitely be going back to try more on the menu. Downgraded service only because we went in a weekday and they had a young teenage boy servicing m, he was polite but not much service experience. I can’t wait to go back!!!“

“I was in the area and feeling some discomfort to my foot, the employee let me in since the place had just opened, she let me elevate my foot since I explained that I had a minor procedure, she brought me my food of course but also condiments knowing that I was trying to keep my foot elevated, the food was delicious.
