“God-tier pizza. Order extra sauce on pizzas if you love sauce like me. My favorite pizza? Pepperoni, double tomato, extra sauce, well done. The tomato's are chunked up in the sauce under the cheese and the pizza comes out so GLORIOUS. They have awesome ingredients, they really care about making great pizza, and have awesome employees. We love Roma's and can't recommend it enough!“

“There were a bunch of us, locals and out-of-state, so we called ahead and they said to come on down. We had a big long table and they did a super job of keeping the pizzas coming. Great flavors and choices. Our waitress, Nicole??, was very attentive along with the rest of the staff.“

The Brown Bag Bistro is almost always super busy (for good reason - it's that great), and each sandwich, salad & dish is prepared when ordered, so it takes some time. Inside is quaint for eating in - but it gets a little crowded. The multi-level outdoor patio has plenty of seating and a wonderful, relaxing ambiance. The only reason for 4 stars is that the wait times can sometimes just be too long for me (I get hangry easily) - but the food is 5+ stars for sure!!“

“The best place to get a quick lunch in Wood River, IL. They make the famous Swiss Farms salad from downtown Wood River from years ago. Home made poppyseed dressing and crackers are included. It is cash only and they are only open from 10am-3pm. They used to let you come inside the little building that used to be a gas station, but now they use the walk-up window, thus the 4 stars. It was sleeting and 30 degrees outside! I'll be back. Love the Swiss Farms salad!“

“We have always been big fans of Big Daddy's from a food and atmosphere standpoint! Most recently, we had the opportunity to transform their outdoor patio space for a private party with a Wednesday Addams theme and it was a blast! There were so many opportunities for decor in their space. They were welcoming and accommodating for us as vendors as well. We have also personally hosted a birthday party here and had great food/service and ease of coordination!“
