“We had a good experience while celebrating a friend's birthday. The staff adeptly managed our large group with grace and humor. The courses were well timed, the perfect temperature, aromatic and flavorful. Our only minor complaint was the 1 hour wait to be seated, and they don't take reservations. Perhaps they can offer tea to those who are waiting? As they grow, a separate prayer space would be a welcome addition.“

“Top tier bbq, even better customer service. I placed an online order for delivery for my family dinner and got a notification that the food was picked up and on the way. I live fairly close to the restaurant so I was surprised when I saw that the delivery driver (third party service) was in a different town and my ETA kept getting longer and longer. I called the restaurant and told them about the issue and actually ended up being put on with The owner Joey. This guy ended up repacking my order and hand delivering it himself!!! Great guy. 10/10 bbq 10/10 customer service.“

“Hands-down worst BBQ place in Chicago if not the nation. Don't look, don't ride pass, & pleeeease don't stop in here and WASTE YOUR MONEY!!! The brisket dry, the ribs uncooked, and the fries was hard asf. You'd be better spending your $50-$100 at the grocery store and make your own bbq. I'LL NEVER BE BACK AND WILL MAKE IT MY MISSION TO TURN ANYONE I KNOW AWAY FROM THIS ESTABLISHMENT. To hell!!!“

“Excellant tasting food, and I was a Sous Chef at Chez Paul in the early eighties . I totally know my mixtures and taste relation! This establishment has it together. God Bless the retired Fireman and Police officer! There is no better tasting Rib House around the South Side than 911 ! GENTLEMEN the rib tips are heavenly!?“

“this place is really good. BBQ with great smokiness and flavor. we come here often and love the brisket Chile, ribs, smoked turkey and of course those amazing burgers. last time I was there it was $5 Burger night and it's amazing that they can serve a great smoky burger on fresh roll with fries for this price. full bar with a good selection of beers“

“Absolutely amazing food. Came here for the second time with my friend and she has guided me in the right direction. Food was good, portions are giant, and the atmosphere is very chill. The fries are on point and the ribs and pulled pork sandwich are a MUST! All of their desserts are top notch too. Enjoyed it and will be back for more.“

“This is my favorite place to eat , great prices , they have items on the menu that u can’t get anywhere else like the pork tenderloin dinner , it’s huge, double pork chop dinner around 20 bucks take you all day to eat it . Cowboy ribeye on the weekends is great ! I think I’ve been there like 25 times , staff is nice , owners are good people , they treat me like a regular“

“I recently visited the Friday evening of the Labor Day weekend, about 6:30pm. I usually set my expectations lower anytime they’re especially busy/any holiday, Of course there was a significant line, but you could tell they had prepared for the last summer holiday rush. The line moved efficiently and I placed my order for 2 extra large tips. To my pleasant surprise I was in and out in just under 20 minutes. Both orders were tender, plentiful, well seasoned, and that mild sauce was slamming. The quality didn’t suffer one bit, even at the end of a busy Friday evening on a holiday weekend. Kudos on a job well done.“

“Service polite and quick. Space clean and well organized. Ordered the Papa Q platter, everything was good, especially the pork belly and sausage. Sides were cornbread, sweeter than traditional, mac q roni- tasty, coleslaw- creamy and traditional, and mashed potatoes with gravy-really good. Hush puppies were yummy too. Three sauces on table are all good individually but I mixed them all together, delish!“

“I recently went to a party and the food was catered by Aloha Hawaiian Barbecue. The food was absolutely delicious. The food was was warm, fresh and it arrived on time. Everyone at the party loved the food. I would recommend having them cater to your next party or event. You won't be disappointed. 👍.“

“Bbq + tacos, yes please. BBQ Chicken Taco with pico de gallo, cilantro, Pulled Pork Taco caribbean salsa, pico de gallo & spicy lime aioli and Brisket Burnt Ends Taco with chimichurri, slaw and cilantro. At $3.50 to $4.00 a taco, they were small. But they were tasty. #spicemeister approved.“

“I thought this place was dirty, when it wasn't and I thought the food wasn't good either, but was pleasantly surprised that the chicken wings and rib tips with bbq sauce actually hit..This place is a criminally underrated rib and chicken joint(Chop Steaks too)just off the food alone and I bet that not one rib shack in the city can beat their prices ..“

“Came here the other day. Food and service was great. I totally demolished that 22 oz Porter House! Only issue I have is why is it accustomed for all steakhouses to render down the fat on side of steaks. That the most tasty part, but when it's rendered, it turns into an inedible rind. Just a thought. Good work Darden for keeping this franchise.“

“We visited Blackwood BBQ at the Mart yesterday and had a wonderful experience. The food was delicious, but the staff were incredible. My brother is deaf, and Darnell and Demetrius were patient and helpful, communicating with him directly rather than looking to me for help communicating with him. This seems like a small gesture, but it's a really big deal for us and we appreciated their kindness.“

The tables are so clean, and we met Teo who was clearing tables. He does a great job, the atmosphere was comfortable and immaculate. we will return soon!“
