The highlight of my evening was the live performance by Gordo Jason Gordo, a talented one-man band. It provided a wonderful setting to enjoy the evening, and the ambiance was just perfect. I thoroughly enjoyed my time there, thanks to the great atmosphere they have created.Now, let's talk about the food. I ordered the Philly cheesesteak, and I must say it was second to none. The flavors were rich, and the sandwich was perfectly cooked. It exceeded my expectations and left me craving for more. My girlfriend opted for the taco salad, and she was equally impressed. The salad was fresh and delicious, a true delight for her taste buds.I would also like to commend the staff at Sonny's for their exceptional service. Once inside, you'll be exposed to one of the most expected but savory bar menus. “The food! You can't ask for a better steak meal. It does tend to get a little busy but those waitresses keep up without an issue. All the renovations the Ross and Dawn have done really are a breath of fresh air in the area. Anyone can catch just about any game while enjoying a cold beer, and a filling delicious meal in a wholesome family atmosphere that you might hope to expect from your hometown. The entire staff are rockstars and this is one to remember to watch out for!“

“Tonight I had Ropedaddy's wings, online order/takeout. Despite being very busy, the food was ready when I got there 20 mins after ordering. The wings were enormous and amazing. Buffalo sauced perfectly without going overboard like many places do. The house ranch was also amazing. One order of these is more than a meal. So I used to get my wings from another place in town that says their wings win yearly 'Best Of' awards. Um...Regal Beagle have the best wings in town, and by far. I will be going back soon for these.“

“We hadn't been to Applebee's in a while because the last time we were there we were really disappointed in the food not this time The food was delicious the black and salmon was chef's kiss the waitress and for the love of God I cannot remember her name but she was so nice I think it was Ashley I'm not sure but I know she had a 2-year-old and it was going to be his birthday so I do remember that but the food was really good it was hot it was fresh service was excellent restaurant was clean I mean it's the fanciest restaurant in Alton so I don't know what else to tell you. And when I say the fanciest in Alton I mean it's fancy for the price are there other restaurants that are more expensive Yes do I feel like going to get a prom dress to go there no.“
