“Food was good but even though I was a party of 1, they let people who signed up after me with a party of 2 and 3 go ahead of me, which I would have understood if they were giving me a smaller table. But they gave me the same size table as the ones they let go ahead of me but registered after I did. So there didn't seem to be any methodology on how they assigned tables. And I even said I didn't have a preference on inside or outside. Just first available knowing it's 48 degrees in November in Chicago.“

“I placed a delivery order but realized I entered the wrong address when the delivery driver was at a different location than my hotel. The restaurant took the time to give me Uber Eats phone number so that I could contact them to get my delivery address fixed. They could’ve brushed me off but didn’t so I was glad to get the food I ordered.“

“Shoutout to the Rittenhouse location. We are at Chop with our 4 year old son who just had surgery. I figured after the day we had let’s have some cookies. I placed an order from Levain on door dash. My wife after the long day she had put in the wrong address on the door dash order and the driver called screaming at me and wouldn’t come 1.3 miles to bring them even after explaining the circumstances. Door dash refunded my whole order without me even asking and I called Levain and they went above and beyond. They gave us cookies on the house and even threw in an extra chocolate chip and delivered them to CHOP. Not only are the cookies fabulous the hospitality is second to none. I am a lifelong customer to this location and want to thank everyone at the Rittenhouse location especially Mat who went above and beyond. Thanks again!“

“Very good gluten free bread! I've tried the small baguettes and pretzel rolls so far and both were excellent. Gluten free eating is getting better all the time and this bread is proof. It has really improved since I was diagnosed in 2011. Thank goodness.“

Great flavor and perfect temperature and wow, the service we received was amazing by our waiter, JULIA. She was the absolute sweetest and made our experience 10 times better. “Beverly Bakery has become a MUST every time we are in the area! The food is incredible, the atmosphere is welcoming, and the staff is so friendly. The crème brûlée French toast with strawberries is easily the BEST French toast I have everrrrrr had! I love the fresh brewed coffee and the wide selection of coffee beans to take home that they will even grind up for you. I would recommend giving Beverly bakery a try to anyone looking for a great breakfast in the area.“

“This place is amazing. I got the Mexican omelette and it was everything I hoped it would be. The wait staff is outstanding and treat you how you want to be treated. They were very fast and the Mimosas are a huge draw. It’s worth every penny I don’t miss one cent of it. It’s always a good feeling when you don’t leave a restaurant disappointed with the taste. “Haymarket is a pub on W. Randolph Street that we recently stopped by while waiting for our table at Au Cheval across the street to become available. They have a good sized indoor seating area as well as a few tables near the bar. Several tellies behind the bar showing sports games. Drink list includes a good selection of handcraft beers. We enjoyed a porter and blond that both pretty good, easy to enjoy while watching a bit of baseball and basketball on the evening. Would be happy to pop back in for another round if in the area if in the area again.“

“We go often but I must comment on how the hostess greets us every time we come in no matter how long it's been between visits. She is so happy to see us. She's such a joy. Then, of course, we get our favorite waitress, Tina, who is always smiling. And then there's the extra large piece of lasagna and chicken Caesar salad and don't get me started on the warm bread. I just wish we were younger when we used to be able to eat appetizers and desserts in addition to our meals instead of taking half our meal home :(“

“On a normal day, Prasino is not usually quite as crowded as it was on Father's Day. The service is always amazing, the food is always delicious, and the drinks are superb. However, the length of time it took to get our food on Father's Day was excessive, to say the least. I'm not sure if they were short-staffed in the kitchen on a busy day, or if something in the kitchen wasn't working properly, but it took over an hour between when we ordered and the food was delivered to our table. We have older kids, who were "starving", but fully capable of being patient. But there were many tables with young children who I'm sure were affected by this. Let me be clear, this is NOT the norm at this restaurant. I have no problem recommending Prasino, and we will absolutely go back because of our many great experiences before this. But this is something that the owners need to address to prevent it from happening on the next holiday.“

“Was pleasantly surprised with our early dinner meal today (President's Day) at Longhorn in Orland Park (on LaGrange).

Atmosphere was good, seating comfortable and service good.

I had a great value....8 oz Renegrade Sirloin, loaded baked potato, and mixed green salad. And complimentary table bread.

Sure...Sirloin is not a top cut, but this was juicy, tasty, and quite satisfying. The surprise was that large, well prepared potato and large mixed salad...all included in the $19 price.

For those preferring a smaller portion, you can choose the 6 oz option, plus all the above extras.....FOR $16.
