When we sat down, the server brought stuffed mushrooms, which served as a perfect start before the falafel appetizers. “This was my first time getting food from Susu’s and it won’t be my last! The server recommended tostones and asada jibarito, and they were amazing! For those of you who have celiac disease or are gluten intolerant, the jibarito Is a dream because instead of having bread for the sandwich, they use plantains. For those with no gluten sensitivity or intolerance, the pistachio and vanilla tres leches are out of this world! All their food is freshly made. This place is truly a treasure!“

I got a gyro plate and I think I over sauced myself because when I mixed everything together, the sauce overpowered and also made the meat get cold quicker. “Found this small business while looking for places to eat while visiting Chicago and a instagram reel popped up and the jerk chicken alfredo pizza was highly recommended.
I ordered the personal pizza (jerk chicken alfredo) w/ parmesan wings and a drink.

Pizza: posted picture, I apologize I had the box sideways in the bag by accident, so doesn’t appear picture perfect, but when I tell you the flavors of the alfredo sauce and jerk chicken blended well together with a nice crispy and flaky crust to compliment it. Cannot forget the cheese pull was great as well! 🤤

Wings: So juicy and fall off the bone tender as seen in video. Had a nice crispy breading and the garlic parmesan sauce was definitely homemade, the flavors were just right.

“Everything was great except the chicken in my chicken sandwich was the size of a single chicken finger. It was cooked well but would have looked more at home on a hot dog bun than the very good round bun it was presented on. Shrinkflation I guess.“

“So I’ve been at this place a lot of times and it’s great! The food is great but the wings are a bit too salty and yea it’s great. Sometimes the workers ignore you but it’s not that deep. I love that there is some comedy to watch. But the place is real crowded on the weekend so e sure to come early. There isn’t that much outlets as well for me to charge my phone.“

“They get 5 stars from me because I ordered through DoorDash, got the wrong food. DoorDash refused to refund me or have it redelivered. I went up there, I don’t remember her name but the lady was so accommodating and she remade it for me. So they’re all good in my book.“
