“Catfish the owner consummate bar owner he remembers everyone and makes a point to greet his customers personally. A Harley rider himself holds group rides on Saturdays during riding season. This is the local location of the annual Blessing of the Bikes . A large outdoor seating area with plenty of property for huge crowds attending several biker events each year. Always some free food on weekends as well as bar food for sale reasonabley priced beer and cocktails.“
“This what you would call a typical Bar and Grill very comfortable all just recently redone everything is new and clean and nice staff is very friendly and fast foods not very expensive pretty good have a nice selection of beer and drinks to choose from nice place to have lunch with your friends and have a nice patio outside I don't think you will be“
“Great service and regulars with burgers that blow away many of the more mainstream competitors. Needless to say it is a bar with all that comes with that but don't let that sway you from tasting the simple but complex burges, pizza and cheezsteaks they cook up.Relaxing, fun atmosphere that could lean a bit more on the DB Cooper briefcase carrying suited criminal of lore.“
“Our first time here. Came for lunch on a Tuesday. Service was great, food was delicious and came out quickly. A couple of people in our group had the burger and said it was really good. I had the Italian beef and it was great. They have a good selection of local craft beers too.“
“This is not exactly a place to go for a meal . It's a place to go for a beer and if you get hungry, they offer some yummy choices to go with your drink. Small with some tables and a bar, pool table, a neighborhood stop with that Smokey bar ambiance. Menus at the table, ordering at the bar. Burgers, hot dogs, and some surprise choices on menu like hummus, falafel, chopped salad. Portions small, prices fairly reasonable, service friendly. I enjoyed a small salad with a requested change of falafel instead of chicken. No problem and tastey with a hot honey squirt on top.If you're in the area , a nice stop for a beer and a nosh.“
“The service was great! Our food came out so fast, it was hot and fresh, coffee was good and my cup never was empty. Highly recommended.Parking: Parking is tricky... there's parking in front of the restaurant, but it's difficult to get in a spot without getting hit. Leaving was also a little scary because it's right off of Gravois, which is always busy and I scuffed the underside of my car leaving.“
“Would give them more stars if I could. My boyfriend and I sat at the bar tonight (2/25) and the solo server and solo bartender rocked it out. They were busy prior to our arrival and that trend only continued. I don't know of many restaurant staff who could handle a walk-in 12 top, bar guests, and several families with small children who came in at the same time. They were assisting each other, running food (I even saw a kitchen staff member running food), bagging togos, changing kegs, and absolutely *killing* it all while never missing a beat. Food was amazing too!“
“We went to Bally yesterday evening for a fun evening out. Kendall was our server and was so sweet and funny. She took amazing care of us and was incredibly attentive. My husband and I had a great time while eating food and having some drinks. We will definitely be back sooner than later.“
“Stopped by for something to eat. Unbeknownst to me, they had a brunch going. It was 1pm, and I was going in wanting a burger. Since it was brunch, I decided to get the brunch smash. Comes with a sausage pattie, fried egg, and bacon. I made it a double but asked for the second patty to be beef. They sent me two sausage patties instead. They did get the add lettuce, tomato, pickle, and onion right though. Asked how did I want my egg. I replied over easy. It came fried. Other than not getting what I had asked for, the sandwich was crazy good.“
“Great local bar . Local people with deep roots. Great service great prices great people. City of St Louis MO. Thank you Tim great bar hangout with Scott Eric for the hospitality and thank you for recommending Gioia's Deli for lunch tomorrow. You can buy smokes at the bar and cheap drink . Heated outdoor seating for cold nights !Parking: Back in to your spot if on a diagonal and tire on curb !“
“Duff the bartender was amazing!!! He went above and beyond!! Highly recommend his specialty drinks and shots!! Great jokes too!! And he thinks he knows country music!! Lol Very kind staff all around!! We had cheeseburgers..can’t go wrong with a good cheeseburger!!! Great spot to chill before a game or concert!!“
“Friendly's is a great atmosphere. They have any and every sports game on, the TV 's are plentiful, the drinks are cheap, and there's plenty of games to entertain the family. The staff are always nice and helpful, and give you that nice hometown feeling. I strongly suggest stopping by!Wheelchair accessibility: It is handicap accessible.“
“314 -Day Battlehawks & live band & slow service, I understand it was a large crowd & only 4 servers!! Good thing the food was good...the burger ? was sent back cuz we didn't realize tht the cheese sauce came on top...asked for cheese sauce on side!!“
“I usually end up here every once in a while when a friend comes in from out of town. There is a variety of drinks. Because we always end the night here, I can't comment on the food. The service is always nice it has always felt to me like a neighborhood bar. It's very spacious and we don't typically have to wait for a table. The bathroom doors can be a little tricky one seems to stick so knock and give it a firm pull.“
“To my fellow vegetarians: The Post has the best veggie burger I've ever had, and as a vegetarian for over 10 years, I've had lots of veggie burgers. They use Beyond Burger but you can tell they put a lot of care into how it's prepared -- from the seasoning to how it's grilled -- just like they would for a meat burger. Gotta give them 5 stars for that alone!“
“Recently tried out Time Out since they're under new ownership. I was pleasantly surprised by all the changes. Great bartenders, very attentive and know what they're doing! The place is well kept and welcoming. I had the late night menu, which had quite a few options on it. All I ordered was really good! And they have that menu till 3 am!“
“Had a party of 14 for my cousin's birthday, and we WILL be back. Service was excellent - the multitude of bars made it easy to get a drink without waiting too long. We reseved a table near one of the bars and had great service (shout out to bartender CJ). The food line was very short, and it didn't take long before we had hot and tasty food. The DJ was spinning good tunes (even if I didn't recognize every song, nothing annoyed me), with local sports on the big screens. The place was busy but never felt crowded, and there was lots to do with all of the games available. Highly recommend.“
“**Cash Discount**Fergie's is a neighborhood staple that we're lucky to have around. The place is popular with an older crowd, so even if you try to get ahead of them and eat dinner at 4:30, the place is likely already busy. All the staff is pleasant, courteous, and takes care of their customers.I don't know about much else here other than the fried chicken. It's some of the best in STL hands down; half a chicken, two sides, and a roll for only $10 can't be beat, just make sure you have the time to wait... it's all cooked to order!“
“I almost don't want to brag on this place because I don't want it to get too crowded. LOL. It looks like a little hole in the wall, but everything about this place was great. I tried the spinach salad...just WOW! Will be going back soon!“
“Always great food and service at Tap Haus! We did monthly brunch today and timing of food and drinks was perfect. The choices of food on the menu were great for all ages. Service was great! Didn’t catch our waitress’s name but she was very sweet and attentive.“
“This is definitely my favorite place in South County. Parking is a little tricky, but we went early, so we didn't have any issues. The food was surprisingly remarkable. The entertainment was great. The service was great. It looks really small when you first go in. But they have a back area that gives you a lot more seating. The area where the band is may be a little too small for as loud as it was.You should definitely try this out if in the area.“

“Great little neighborhood spot. Very laid back with touch tunes and a seat yourself policy. This is definitely a place for locals. They hold trivia on Thursdays, have a great happy hour from 4-6 on weekdays, and do bourbon tastings throughout the week.Plenty of good beers on tap and a fantastic bourbon selection. The food is good and reasonably priced with large portions. We ordered 2 beers, wings, fries, and a frisco melt with a side of wings and spent $50.Definitely recommend for an easy dinner or happy hour. We'll be back often!“
“Date Order Feb 23 Fri. on phone for me to pick up 430pm. Order was on time , the servicer was friendly and caring. However when I got home , my Order fish bits cost 12.99 , had lots of grease coming off of them. I let them cool off . I started to eat them they were not cooked all the way. I ended up throwing them away. I had them before the were really good. Also the box was on 1/2 full. I must have just gotten a bad cook or the fry was not at the right temp. It did leave a bad taste in mine mouth. It was be along time before I Order again.Parking: Could use a few more spots. However lots of arkingWheelchair accessibility: Flat ground easy to get In“
“Visiting the area and looking for a place to watch some Football and came upon this place. Friendly staff and owner and not commercialized like everything at nearby Ballpark Village. Had a great time there and will definitely stop back if I’m in the area again. Good vibes there.“
“We surprised my friend with a gathering for his birthday. The staff was amazing, the food was great. I didn't really care for the Sriracha wings, but I like it it for dipping or drizzle it on my chicken and not as a sauce on the whole wing. The sliders were very tasty. The fried salmon bites were really good. We were able to get the back room for our gathering, which a very big plus. I will definitely return to try other dishes.Parking: There was parking on the side and in the rear of the building“
“Nice little neighborhood sports bar. They have plenty of TVs. They have darts, pool table, and shuffleboard. They also have a very nice patio. They have great food. Love the fried dill pickle spears, pretzel bites, and their pizza is surprisingly good. It is kind of heavy. They have party rye bread with cheese and sausage like you would have in the neighbors basement in the 70’s.I miss the fried cannelloni bites. They also had really good fried chicken back in the day. They possibly have the best well Bloody Mary in St. Louis. Drinks are affordable. The crowd can get kind of loud and rambunctious later in the evening is the only negative“
“Happy St. Pat's!! The place to be anyday is here, but especially March 17th! Green beer was flowing, bartenders were attentive and the crowd was friendly and welcoming.Enjoying life 1 sip, 1 bite and 1 small town at a time!Explore everything!“
“Although the Shepherds Pie was actually Cottage Pie, it was delicious. The battered chicken tenders were the best I have ever had - and consistent over several different days.Service was outstanding - the staff, even when busy, made sure you were taken care of.“
“Lots of Tv's playing sports. They have a dart board but no pool table. The bartenders are women in thier 20's with Tats and and showing lots of skin. I only went there because it was walkable from my house. But not really into sports or I would have probably enjoyed it more. Most were friendly but there were a couple jerks as you will find anywhere. Didn't try the food so not sure about that. I would not call it kid friendly as it is a bar. They have happy hour from 11a till 6p the there's that. I'm more of a Grove person but this place isn't bad by any means. There is an older lady bartender that is my fave for sure.“
“Nice little sports bar tucked into a strip mall. In this occasion the property people had the front of the store torn up. The entrance wasn't much to look at but worth the try. The team here was great on a really slow day. They were very attentive and friendly. The bartender and owner went out of their way to put on our game. It was great to be able to have "our game" placed on the screen at our table. The inside of the bar is large and clean. It's very attractive with a million TV's to watch. The high top tables were reasonably comfortable. The men's restroom needed some help though. My house side salad was very large. The ingredients were fresh. It had a decent amount of side vegetables. Perhaps could have used more color and appeal. The salad was very good though! I ordered the 10 piece wings in Asían Sesame sauce. The wings were pretty good size for bone in wings. They were meaty and moist and cooked perfectly. The wing was fried with a nice crisp. The sauce was plentiful but not dripping off the wing. I found the Asian taste to be very mild...maybe too mild. There was no spice or kick. Just a very smooth tasting sauce....but good!“
“Good environment and food, especially while a game is on. We had a fantastic, excellent server. It was nice having the fried pickles as an appetizer along with the homemade sauce. My lunch companion had fish and chips, while I got the Fitzgerald burger and fries. Prices for the entire lunch were reasonable. Good local restaurant; I like the house sauce.“
“This place is one of , if not the oldest bars still standing. If you are looking for martinis this is not your place. If you are looking for a place that holds their patrons dearly, is a mainstay and family run, this is it. This is truely a gem of the Southside.“
“I've been coming to Duke's for years, definitely one of my favorite spots in Soulard! The staff is always attentive and fun, just genuinely nice peeps!Their food is outstanding , crab cakes are a must try.. And add Duke's to your brunch rotation, the menu is great and bottomless mimosas, shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii. Fuhgetaboutit!“
“Pepper's has a fantastic steak dinner for 13 bucks. Comes with a side and bread. The service could be a bit better. I prefer to sit in the bar area to eat because the chairs in the outdoor covered dining are so uncomfortable that one can barely sit there long enough to eat. Otherwise, all the food we have ordered there has been really great.“
“Went on a Thursday afternoon where lots of locals were enjoying socializing. The bartender, Angie, was on the ball, as she served a patron she would keep an eye on the needs of others walking up for service. You could see she knows her regulars drinks because she never asked what they wanted she just brought the desired drink to them. Unfortunately, the men’s restroom was filthy, drain flies were everywhere. Angie even stopped what she was doing to pour bleach and wipe down the floor after we told her. However, it seems bizarre that the bartender has to clean the bathrooms, maybe the daily cleaning crew thought they had cleaned the men’s room or just forgot. We played some pool and the dice game and had a great time. Service was great, the place needs some TLC but all in all I would come back.“
“Consistently good food over the 5 yrs we've been eating here. I love their Reuben sandwich, always a nice crunch to the bread, generous fillings and never soggy from too wet kraut. Their waffle fries are amazingly crisp outside and soft inside. Best I've ever had. We've never gotten pizza at Duffy's but it looks good.“
“My friends and I came here after a long day at the golf course. It’s a typical downtown STL bar. However,The prices are competitive and the food was quite tasty. I recommend the Cheddar Bacon Burger with the Onion Straws. The food service was slow, but it was only one cook working the place.Overall, I’d go back and would have gotten 5 stars if the food service was slightly quicker.“
“The wings are really good. A tobasco based sauce that was nice and tangy. My husband really enjoyed his Billy Burger. The French fries were the coated kind, which were not indicated on the menu. That is a pet peeve of mine and they were not enjoyable. It brought the enjoyment level down for me. The wait staff and assistants were very nice and attentive.“
“Nice dive bar for the area! Really good atmosphere, I like the old school bar feel. Can pop in have a few drinks and a burger, never fell out of place. Even though I'm a out sided. Their fried shelled tacos are amazing! They nightly food specials. So don't expect the same special week to week.“
