“The Tavern on Clark is amazing! My daughter and I were traveling from out of town and were recommended this place! The manager went out of his way to accommodate us and find us a table. They were so busy. We didn’t have a reservation. But he was so kind and helpful, working out a way for us to have a wonderful dinner! Our server was so efficient. The food was as delicious as we were hoping! Literally my daughter’s burger was HUGE! The potato fries were cooked to perfection. I had a BBQ chicken salad that was so fresh and tasted amazing! We come to Rockford for soccer a few times a year. We will be back for sure!“

“We went in with a large group (14 people) and we were served by Taylor. She was a very nice wonderful waitress. The food was very good, and it was great time. It's hard to deal with large parties but she did awesome! I give a 3 for atmosphere only because we were right by the bathroom and it's all I could smell haha. The price you pay for convenience.“

“I love this place. Legit is one of the only reasons I even bother to go to the Cherry Vale Mall. They always have good service. They always have everything done in a timely manner even if you order multiple smoothies, shakes, anything really.“

“One of my favorite spots! The vibe inside is just the right mix of cozy and cool—like if your stylish friend with great taste in beer opened a pub. Their salads make me feel responsible, their burgers make me forget I was trying to be, and the fries? Let’s just say they disappear faster than my willpower. Add in great drinks, and it’s basically my happy place. Highly recommend!“

“Had a group of 19 women in for lunch today. Went in last week to let staff know we were coming on Monday at 11 am. I arrived, no tables were set up and I had to help arrange tables. All of our meals were very good. There was a huge variety on the menu choices. I asked our waitress if I might have a gift card ( $10 or $15) to draw from among the women. Was told the manager could not get ahold of the owners to ask if this was okay. Really? Anyway, every 2 months I make a reservation for us all to go to lunch. Never been turned down before. All the food was great. This just rubbed me the wrong way.“

“Culver’s has always had nice staff and restaurants. But over the past year or so the quality of there food has sunk low. Cheap buns. Cheaper less tasty toppings the sides aren’t the same as they once were. Not a higher quality food that we used to expect from Culver’s food chain.“

“Big YES! I go there monthly with a group of, usually, 15 to 20 ladies. We get THE BEST service ever! The waitresses are pros at keeping checks separate and remembering who ordered what dish. how the cook gets 20 separate dishes ready at the same time and quickly is amazing service! All of that plus the food is DELICIOUS!! GREAT SERVICE UN A GREAT RESTAURANT!“

“Went on a Thursday. Got there at 6:30pm and dinner came out at 7:45. We did have an appetizer and salad to start, which came out not too badly timed, but that was a long visit and the place was packed. Our server was super busy!!! In that, she was attentive and had a good sense of humor. Overall, first experience was positive. The food was good but not a lot of options for a person that doesn't eat steak. And yes, Steakhouse is in the name 🤣🤣. I get it....
So... three adults:

1 appetizer
Bread and butter
3 salads
3 entrees (the Longhorn with signature sides; the chicken tenders (small) with signature sides; lemon garlic chicken with standard sides)

“I would give 5 stars but the service isn't always good. My group goes for bingo every Tuesday night and there's only 1 waitress who gives fantastic service. We had another waitress for a few weeks when our favorite waitress Huntar was on maternity leave. The service was terrible. Some food was never delivered. Drinks were never refilled. We all agreed if our favorite waitress wasn't working we wouldn't order any food.“

“Great place to eat , drink your favorite beverage or just unwind to the slot machines they have.
Had chilli and a smash burger. The chilli was not for me but nabey others. The taste was blah and needs immortality kick to it and im not just talking about adding Louisiana hot sauce.
But in the other hand the smash burger gets an 8 out of 10“

“Stopped for dinner after attending a sporting event at N Boone HS. The bartender (who was the only one working so she was also our server) was super friendly. You could tell she was busy, but she made time to check on us and get drink refills. The food was really good - awesome fries! They had some kind of bingo/trivia event going on, and it looked like everyone was having a good time.“

“First of all, I don’t drink, however I have a true appreciation for the American dive bar. The atmosphere hits this vibe 100%. Also, I believe I am a patty melt Connoisseur — and theirs is probably the best in the stateline. I’m also big into that taco salad. The drinks are cheap and the patio out back is stupendous. We love the tree!“
