You can truly taste the quality and care in every bite. The owner, Erin, is amazing—her passion for her craft shines through in both her baking and her customer service. “Yes baby! The treats here are fire! I strolled in not knowing what I wanted, so I got quite a few things. My Uncle stole the blueberry lemon loaf. It looked kinda like a loaf pound cake. He was picking his fingers before even finishing his bites. EVERYTHING tasted amazing! I got the caramel cake, everything brownie, & Tod (lemon) cookie. OMG, smack me into a dessert coma it's that good. Probably the best caramel cake I've ever had. And if you've read my reviews, you know I've had my share. The gentleman at the counter was being modest about it flavor. He cut the first slice of the glorious looking cake right in front of me. I appreciate they leave the cake whole and it tastes like it as well. He also described everything really well. I had no questions and it was hard to make my decisions. The bakery is super clean with good music playing. I could see myself (and I will) sipping coffee, eating sweets, and working from there one morning. The vibe is cool & comfortable for any occasion. “Today, 20 Sep my daughter brought home a dozen chocolate donuts. I was shocked when I opened the box. Apparently your bakery is downsizing the donuts. Much smaller and worse of all , what happened to the chocolate coating on the donuts. Did you run out? They use to be smothered with chocolate. Very disappointed.“

“She is restoring faith in the South Shore community. The owner is so wholesome and hardworking, the cupcakes are so good. Like insanely good, my first time trying them I had to wait a few seconds because the icing is like no other.
It’s very clean on the inside, and she has these really nice comfortable couches to sit and talk with a friend in. The whole building is just aesthetically pleasing. Keep up the good work!“

“I visited the establishment out of curiosity. The enticing aromas of freshly baked goods permeated the air. An assortment of doughnuts, scones, cookies, danishes, and loaves of bread were on display. I made a purchase of two tarts, namely the Twix and the Briscoff. The Twix tart bore a striking resemblance to the popular candy bar, yet it surpassed it in terms of taste and quality. It consisted of a shortbread crust filled with a delectable caramel custard, topped with chocolate and a piece of a Twix bar. The experience was truly divine. I have reserved the Briscoff tart for a later occasion. The establishment offers a diverse selection of other delectable items, including cakes. I intend to revisit the establishment in the future to indulge in a sweet treat.“

“Cute, small bakery with a lot of different Mexican breads and pastries. When you go in, you grab a tray and a prong to grab the items you want. They also have more cookies and hot Churros at the register. The strawberry churro was amazing. The prices are very reasonable. I really enjoyed the savory cheese and jalapeno bread and the strawberry jam filled pastry.“

I ordered a custom cake 2 days before my daughters birthday (most places want a week notice) They even delivered the cake to my house (and worked with me on changing the delivery time.last minute) And my daughters cake (although not elaborate design) came out exactly how she wanted it! I can honestly say in all the years I have ordered custom cakes they have never been 100% accurate. This cake was on point! And the taste was amazing! I'm excited to taste their truffles today that I just ordered! Hands down Steel City Bakery will be my go to Bakery for my family and I and if yall want beautiful, delicious Bakery ONLY USE STEEL CITY BAKERY....You won't regret it!!

The image on the cake is of a comedian from the show Impractical Jokers (it's a inside joke my 2 daughters have ) and the birthday girl had to have his face on her birthday cake) The 17 is edible sugar art cake topper (although not over the top) brought the cake together and her favorite color is green!
