“Ive been to 2 other Chicago Ramen spots and this had the best service and atmosphere by far.

I tried the king of sea tsukemen. As its own thing it was just ok, not bad, not amazing.

I was really hoping for a fishy pork tsukemen (tonkatsu gyokai?) and what I got wasn't that. I wouldn't order it again and its unfortunate that this location doesn't do their normal menu because I would be back at this convenient location so often for their normal tsukemen. (Or gyokai, but I can dream)

Hopefully they'll move this menu to one of their northern locations where there are more nearby options!“

The lao sausages are fantastic. Had a great lemongrass flavor and delicious meat chunks. If you have never had lao sausages before, this place is worth coming out and trying for that.
The lao papaya salad slaps. However, I highly suggest getting a low heat for the papaya salad. My husband and I have a high heat tolerance but even the medium heat hurt so good. Also worth it to come out for this.
The pad thai was really flavorful. Didn't seem like a large portion of meat however.“

“I came here with a couple friends about a month ago on a Tuesday night and it happened to be their trivia night. And we ended up joining in on the fun.

The place is huge! The main room has a long bar and was full. We were seated in a room across from the bar. It was also huge and I think they occasionally had live music in that room. Our server was attentive and was constantly refilling our drinks. However, once we finished eating, we never saw our server again. Not even to to fill up water. As soon as the trivia ended, our server resurfaced and hovered while we settled our bill. Weird, right?

We were seated in a booth. Just three of us. It could have easily held six people.

So, someone comes by and says we're playing trivia. It's on the app and he shows us the app and tells us how to set it up.

This is all before we order drinks. It's all about the trivia. I have no idea where the other teams were as the place was ginormous.

We were there for our burger club. Between the three of us, we ordered the Tavern burger and the 'Merica burger. They were cooked very well, very flavorful. The buns held up, cheese melted well and fries crispy, but not too crispy. Everything was good...

Except that damn trivia game. It took forever. A simple trivia game that should have last maybe 45 minutes dragged on for nearly two hours. It was insane how slow it was. And no one wanted to leave? And I have no idea why as the prize was like a $25 gift card. It was lame.

I'll definitely return to try some of their other food, but I'll avoid their damn trivia night.“

“Excellent food and service. I'm gluten free (sensitivity) and lactose intolerant, and they have options including gluten free breads and mixes and oatmilk. Just ask the server. I personally love their Pot Roast Skillet and their Jambalaya Scramble; and I always take a few dairy pills just in case. Better safe than sorry!“

“We had our wedding at Eden Events on June 28th 2025 and all I can say is it turned out absolutely amazing! We worked with Claudia and Omar they were nothing but fantastic from beginning to end. Our wedding turned out exactly how we envisioned it! From the ceremony to the turn over for the reception space was just so beautiful. The staff was amazing!! The food was delicious exactly how our tasting was. The day of I had everything organized in bins and they set it out for me exactly how I wanted it to look! “I haven't been to Alexander's in years and my last experience wasn't a good one. The food wasn't great and the service was terrible. This time was a complete 180° experience! The place has been renovated and looks very nice and very clean (including the very nice restroom). The food and service were, both, wonderful with nice selections on the menu. We went on a weekend, so they had a piano player who was very good. Even the prices weren't the usual "painful" experience of most restaurants. We will, definitely, return. I went because I was told they had improved, considerably, from what I remembered. They have!“

“This was a birthday dinner for my wife. Our two daughters and their husbands also attended. We ate in the gazebo which was a wonderful experience. There was a delay in being seated as a wedding ran longer than expected. So they comped a round of drinks and waived the fee for the gazebo. Food and service were outstanding. We had a great time!“

I feel the BA program is a sleeper in the Chicagoland beer scene. BA Kamoho is currently in my top list of best BA pastry stouts of the year. I'm a sucker for that cinna/coco combo and every release of that beer has been absolutely delicious.“
