“Genuinely amazing pastries & drinks, I’ve visited Lasa Cafe twice, and on the first visit I got a bit carried away and got one of each pastry I saw, unfortunately no pictures from that occasion!
I’ve tried their Pan De Sal, Ube Cheese Pan De Sal, Spanish Bread, Asado & Corned Beef rolls, Ensaimada, Ube Panna Cotta, and then of course the Bibingka & Bibingkinitan. Everything was delicious and unfamiliar to me, all flavors of the Bibingkinitan were terrific, which included, Ube, Pandann, Banana & Salted Egg.
Not only was I surprised by the quality and flavor profiles of the pastries, but the drinks caught my eye too. On the first visit, I had the Ube Matcha iced latte— the matcha was very traditional and high quality tasting, then the subtle sweetness and nuttiness of the ube complimented it just right.
The second drink I’ve tried was the Saba Con Yelo, a delicious blended banana drink that had some sort of tiny pearls inside and almost a flan-like custard on top. Definitely getting it again.
This is a great Filipino cafe to get into if unfamiliar with that cuisine of food/desserts like myself. The workers themselves are very nice and greeted me upon entering and exiting, patient and helpful when asked various different questions.

“Great place! My first time here and the staff and owners were all very welcoming and when I went back the next day they all remembered my name, feels like home here. My friend won big on the machines!$$$ They have amazing pizza served with seasoning. I will definitely be making this my new neighborhood hangout!“

“I have ordered out here quite a few times and love the Royal wrap! Food is top notch! I just ate there for the first time today and it got even better. “The food is fresh. You can taste that they make their own salsa, for example. The veggies on my salad were bright and crisp. In comparison to other places, you can tell you are eating fresh food. The coffee is good. They have lots of seating. Service is friendly, helpful and efficient. Good prices. Local. Easy parking. What more can you ask for? I am excited to try everything on the menu eventually.“

“visited this fantastic coffee spot in Naperville, Chicago, and I was thoroughly impressed. The place was incredibly clean, with a modern, slick, and urban interior that felt inviting and fresh. There’s also a lovely outdoor seating area where you can bring your pet along, and they even provide fresh water for them—such a thoughtful touch!
The staff were super friendly, which made the experience even better. As for the coffee, it was absolutely amazing, and the macaroons were to die for, especially the salty caramel flavor. If you’re in the area, I highly recommend stopping by. I will definitely be back!“

“Just discovered this amazing European Cafe/Bakery. I ordered a "J" cake in pink for my daughter-in-law and it was out of this world! Very light, whipped cream frosting, decorated just beautifully! I'll be ordering one next for my birthday in March :)“

“This is my second time visiting Playroom Cafe Social and it’s truly my favorite play space! 🫶🏼 I’ve been to a variety of play cafes in the area and this one by far is top notch! The drinks and food are delicious and they have a variety of items to choose from for the littles and adults too. The play space itself is GORGEOUS!! Bright, clean, and thoughtfully designed with plenty of slides, climbing structures, and engaging activities to keep little ones entertained. My son absolutely loves it here, and we’re already looking forward to our next visit! I also love that they offer a rewards program, such a nice bonus for parents who plan to come often! I HIGHLY recommend Playroom Cafe Social to any parent looking for a fun and relaxing time to sip your favorite coffee while watching your littles play! 💕“

“Went there for the 1st time last Saturday. The service and the food were both excellent. Amber was on top of everything and was very knowledgable about the menu items. Husband had a ‘skillet’ breakfast and I had the granola/berry French toast. We left very little food and we didn’t need much to eat afterwards. The food was filling and kept us going until late afternoon. I recommend this restaurant and will be back! Highland Village Texas location“

“Look I'm not a very big coffee drinker, but WOW! I didn't get the pleasure of meeting the "Barista" my work partner picked up the coffee as I hung back in work van. “I would say that coming here is a good spot to get boba. It’s nice to enjoy it whenever you got a chance to get it. My go to would always be getting the chocolate oreo mocha with brown crystal boba. The girls at the counter are always working hard and I appreciate their effort to make my drink worth coming back for.“

“Man! The place is always clean, free snacks like pizza, chicken tenders, and the best gummy bears I've ever had! They got all types of soda, water, beer, wine, orange & pineapple juice. They have Little bags of trail mixes, cookies (Oatmeal Raisin are the best!) Brownies, chips muffins! What else are they missing!?(Ice cream during summertime) They got all the current great games, but you know they can't fit them all in one location so they have another store 1 block away for those other games and with they same freebies snacks. Man I love this place!!!“

“Where do I Begin? I looked at several other workout centers, and this one is head and shoulders above all the others. We used to work out at the Triphahn center with the HEPD for years. They have had problems with their air conditioning and other issues as well. It was simply time for a change. And what a change! They have a huge selection of machines for aerobics, free weights, and resistance machines. They also have a spa, a nice café and their service so far is been tremendous. I went for a look and much to my surprise was given an escorted tour right away. I feel like we went from a motel six to the Ritz Carlton. That’s how good it is. They are doing renovations now to add even more. You can have the use of a personal trainer as well and at least one session is free at least through our insurance plan. “

“I have driven by this restaurant for years and kept meaning to stop in and give it a try. Well today my best friend and I ate there and were extremely pleased with the attentive service and excellent food. The omelet was chock full of ingredients, the pancakes soft and fluffy and the Banana Nut French toast was delicious!

“I stopped by the Glen Ellyn Metra train station for some coffee, and got a surprise. It was a real pleasure talking to Mary, who is not only selling great coffee and scones (more tasty and affordable than the chain stores), but working with other stakeholders in the space to keep the building clean while also maintaining a vegetable garden on the grounds surrounding the station. After talking with her, it's obvious to me that she is pursuing a labor of love, and she is a true inspiration. I can't think of a more pleasant way to board the train in the morning, or just hang out for a game of chess when things are quiet during the day. More towns should get creative like this and make these kinds of spaces more inspiring, rather than just a drab place to gather while in a rush to get somewhere else.“

“First time here, we were warmly greeted and offered complimentary tea/coffee and cookies. Sat down and within 10 minutes, I had doubled my money! As far as I know, this location is open until 2am and perfect if you're on a date and not ready to go home, but want to go somewhere quiet and enjoy a cup of coffee or tea and sit and chat. I had a very pleasant experience my first time here.“

“Nice little airport restaurant for a ligtht meal and a view of the aircraft. It's the only restaurant at the Dupage airport. Everything is like new. Staff is welcoming. Food is good. Open weekdays 9am to 2pm. Tables along the windows for viewing airport activities.“
