“I visited for the first time today as I just happened up on this Place while
making a U-turn and I am very picky. However the owner was very accommodating and made my drink to order without any rush at the window and it was absolutely perfect. Nothing but good vibes and customer service all around. I definitely recommend.

“Nice little airport restaurant for a ligtht meal and a view of the aircraft. It's the only restaurant at the Dupage airport. Everything is like new. Staff is welcoming. Food is good. Open weekdays 9am to 2pm. Tables along the windows for viewing airport activities.“

That was quite a treat. This time I asked for a dozen of cookies. They were very delicious. I paced myself with each cookie so that the aftertaste would last just a little bit longer. Nice distinct flavor made each cookie stand out. That box of cookies was "a cookie party" And finally, the dragon fruit cheesecake... In one word - PHENOMENAL !!! Impressive visually with the three colorful layers and so incredibly delicate in taste. The dragon fruit cheesecake is a pure JOY to have. I highly recommend this local treasure. Next time I plan on visiting ALPACAke for lunch.“

“I absolutely love the food, coffee and atmosphere with 2 stars taken off of the lovely decor, just because I have yet been able to sit and enjoy a conversation with friends. Every seat is filled by people on laptops sipping 1 drink every time I have been there, even outside on nice days. I love meeting up with my friends and catching up. Sparrow would ideally be the perfect spot if there was a seat open, let alone a few seats together. The staff are amazing, drinks are perfect, and the food is delicious. If I'm in the area, I will grab a to go order. If I'm meeting friends, we opt for a more social friendly shop.“

“My kids love going to play cafes. We decided to come as a fun thing to do before school starts. my kids had a blast. So many fun little spaces, a lot of space, plenty of seating and clean. The food was excellent, my daughter had the cheese quesadilla and I.had the grilled chicken sandwich. (Chicken sandwich is one of the best I've ever had). I highly recommend and we will be back.“

“Visited this cafe with my friend on a quiet weekday evening and we both ended up liking it more than expected. The lighting was warm, music stayed soft, and nobody was rushing customers even as it got busier later. I ordered cheesecake with hot chocolate while my friend tried pasta and coffee. The cheesecake texture was soft and fresh instead of dry. Our drinks took slightly longer because they were handling several takeaway orders, but staff apologized and kept things moving calmly throughout the evening rush.“

“I was introduced to this place when I was in High School and absolutely loved the Pancakes because they were fluffy and came with alot of toppings. Although at the time it seemed like it was cluttered with chairs and their staff was a little rude the food made up for everything else.

Fast forward 6 years I went back here with my friend on vacation and the decor and how everything was setup made it feel really refreshing and not cramped anymore. I had gotten my favorite chocolate pancakes and tasted the same they did 6 years ago with a ton of toppings and the same fluffy goodness. “I call Stella's place my home away from home. The place is very inviting. I used to go to GVC but I like this better because there's only a few people playing and everyone is so friendly. Jonathan Is usually hosting when I go and he is the best. He is so friendly that the minute you walk in the door, he treats you like a long lost friend. He remembers what I drink and has it ready before I even say anything. If there are no machines available he offers to call Shelby's but usually I just wait around and visit til someone leaves. I've never met anyone like Jonathan, he loves his job so much and it shows.“
