That was quite a treat. This time I asked for a dozen of cookies. They were very delicious. I paced myself with each cookie so that the aftertaste would last just a little bit longer. Nice distinct flavor made each cookie stand out. That box of cookies was "a cookie party" And finally, the dragon fruit cheesecake... In one word - PHENOMENAL !!! Impressive visually with the three colorful layers and so incredibly delicate in taste. The dragon fruit cheesecake is a pure JOY to have. I highly recommend this local treasure. “My kids love going to play cafes. We decided to come as a fun thing to do before school starts. my kids had a blast. So many fun little spaces, a lot of space, plenty of seating and clean. The food was excellent, my daughter had the cheese quesadilla and I.had the grilled chicken sandwich. (Chicken sandwich is one of the best I've ever had). I highly recommend and we will be back.“

“I absolutely love the food, coffee and atmosphere with 2 stars taken off of the lovely decor, just because I have yet been able to sit and enjoy a conversation with friends. Every seat is filled by people on laptops sipping 1 drink every time I have been there, even outside on nice days. I love meeting up with my friends and catching up. Sparrow would ideally be the perfect spot if there was a seat open, let alone a few seats together. The staff are amazing, drinks are perfect, and the food is delicious. If I'm in the area, I will grab a to go order. If I'm meeting friends, we opt for a more social friendly shop.“

A wonderful mix of professionals, college students, community organizers, and socially conscious suburban moms escaping the kids (I'm sure I'm missing wonderful others). Sometimes I'm not sure how I manage to keep living in the suburbs when the city is still home for me after 10 years in Elmhurst, but Brewpoint certainly makes it easier.“

“After driving past Elijah's in the mornings for the last few months I finally decided to stop in and give it a try (you should always try to support local). I ordered a large Black Coffee with a shot of espresso, I even mentioned to the guy making my coffee that it was my first time here and he was polite and said Welcome. (When was the last time you heard someone say welcome?) The girl behind the counter asked if I wanted anything else and I asked If they made there Scones fresh and she said yes we bake daily. I bought a variety to bring to the gig for the crew this morning. My Coffee was made exactly the way I make it at home and the Scones were still warm and made me feel like I was on Arthur Avenue at Morrone's pastry in the Bronx waiting in line for them to come out of the oven fresh. I must give Elijah's Coffee 5 stars today and recommend it to everybody and I will now be a customer. “Visited this cafe with my friend on a quiet weekday evening and we both ended up liking it more than expected. The lighting was warm, music stayed soft, and nobody was rushing customers even as it got busier later. I ordered cheesecake with hot chocolate while my friend tried pasta and coffee. The cheesecake texture was soft and fresh instead of dry. Our drinks took slightly longer because they were handling several takeaway orders, but staff apologized and kept things moving calmly throughout the evening rush.“
