“I came to this location by mistake when my car GPS directed us here rather than our usual DQ, but it was great to find this DQ in Carol Stream close to one of our dog's favorite dog parks (Hawk Hollow). The service was great and we were pleased to hear about the DQ pup cups that include milk bones and vanilla ice cream. Our dog loved the pup cup, especially on such a hot day. I tried the new Oreo Fudge Brownie blizzard which was amazing. We will definitely be back!“

“We love Kimmer's. Our Scooper/Ice Cream Tech/Flavor Expert on our visit, yesterday, was super nice, friendly, and enthusiastic. We each tried a flavor that we have not tasted, before. As always, they were fab. My Chocolate Covered Cherry paired deliciously with my fave Aztec Hot Chocolate. My daughter had an across-the-board peanut butter crush, Bear Cub Tracks sharing a Waffle Cone with one of her favorites, Parent Trap. Delish!“

“I am SOOOO lucky to live right across the street from this ice cream shop. It’s a bit more pricey than some places but the cost reflects the incredible quality of their premium ice creams. My faves are Peanut butter cookie dough; Coconut chip; Fat Elvis & Zanzibar (a rich dark chocolate). There’s a flavor for everyone. I think there’s like 50 different kinds. Open from mid-March to mid-October & on the last day of the season, you can buy whatever is left over. I got a whole tub one October for about $50–it lasted the whole winter! Yummmmm🥰“

“Came in early afternoon on 12/16 and was greeted by Caitlyn, who welcomed me with a big smile and let me know she was happy to help if I needed anything. I was looking to get a birthday cake for my daughter, but the size available on display was a bit too large. When I asked if there were any smaller options, she explained that she had just made one and it would be ready in about 10 minutes if I didn’t mind waiting.

She even let it freeze a little longer since it was freshly made, added the candy toppings, and kindly offered to write a small birthday message on it. The entire experience was friendly, fast, and extremely courteous.

Highly recommend this location, and I would absolutely return—especially if Caitlyn is working. Her exceptional service truly went above and beyond.“

“A gem for your typical rolled ice cream and various drinks. However, the real treasure is the Taiwanese cuisine. If you have a chance, try the pork spareribs, the popcorn chicken as appetizers. For the main entree, the beef noodles is a must. If you're there on the weekends and you're looking for a homey dish, although a little gamey, the lamb rice is almost made to perfection. It's not on the menu so you have to ask!“

We were picking up a few blizzards, and two of them were off menu requests (older/retired recipes). The manager (owner?), Rerish, took great care of us and gave us very good recommendations. He made sure we got what we were looking for and shared the recipes so the recipients would know what to ask for next time. The two blizzards were delivered, and the kids LOVED them. Thanks so much! “The best boba place in the area! Brightly lit, exceptionally friendly staff, and some of the best tapioca pearls around. The decor is akin to a modern Japanese boba house. They even have a gotchapon and a cotton candy vending machine. This is a must for all boba lovers!“

“I was waiting for my cookies when I observed a worker who was rolling dough. She stepped away from the dough table, and went on her personal phone, then immediately went back to touching the dough. Wearing the same pair of gloves the entire time. I made a comment that she should probably switch gloves if she is going to touch her personal phone and then peoples food. “If you’ve got a sweet tooth, Kilwins in Wheaton is an absolute must-stop—especially since it’s conveniently right next door to Sogno. The chocolates were divine. I picked up my signature favorites—marzipan and chocolate-covered marshmallows—and wow… they did not disappoint. Every bite was rich, fresh, and totally indulgent.

What really made the experience, though, was the cozy seating area. It’s the perfect spot to sit, relax, and just enjoy the moment with good company. We ended up staying so long we practically shut the place down—no regrets.
