“Stayed at Harrah’s Casino in Joliet & food at the grill was terrible. Found The Old Fashioned Pancake House Restaurant on Jefferson St in Joliet the next morning and it was amazing. Service was quick, attentive and continuous. Food (breakfast) was simply outstanding and price was very good! I have traveled a lot and this place is a Five Star value in my book.“

“They went above and beyond for our family. We had about 30 people who decided to go out to dinner after a wake. We called and 15 minutes later they had a huge table set up and did an awesome job of taking care of us. Very impressed with the service we received.“

“This is one of the best pizza places in the area.. There are very few places you can get a Chicago style pizza without driving closer to the city and this is one of them !!!
Delious pizza always a go to for the family and I. We have been getting pizza here for years and occasionally it comes a little grease but it is always hot, delicious and quick!!“

“I got RAX on me right now— BET LETS GOOOO! A*bys who?! Their roast beef was bussin had white cheese all melty and the curliest curlies I’ve ever crunched. This place is so good it has me driving 367 miles for it. It’s that serious.
The atmosphere feels like you’re in a different era, never more than 5 people inside. The sparkling chairs in different colors. The sun room is phenomenal. You say rax— I say bet let’s go.“

“First time me and my husband have been here. As we walked in our hands were shipped by the owner, which was a great welcome. The waffle was amazing. Presentation of the waffle was great. The eggs were cooked properly. Coffee was wonderful, including a craft at the table, lemon water was placed on the table as well. If I am in this area as I live two hours away I will certainly return. I recommend this place highly for a wonderful breakfast. Nice big menu but not too overwhelming. Give it a try. Say hi to the owner.“
“Personally, I’ve been to this establishment and I have nothing but good things to say. I’ve noticed nothing BUT positive things about this place and ive been very privileged to have been here. It was an awesome experience. Good people, good beer! What’s not to like about it? After a few hours hanging out here, I’ve decided that I need to come back for more great memories. “Went there for lunch with a friend and our two dogs in the patio. The pups were greeted with cool water in dog dishes right away! The food and service were great! We had a taco salad and a bbq burger (one dog had bacon) and both were very tasty! It was wonderful to have a dog friendly restaurant to eat great food! Thank you!“

“We absolutely love Casa Maya. It is our go to. My favorite place to go for sangria, their house made sangria is fantastic. My go to dinner is their chicken soup and queso w/chips. My husband enjoys their chicken or steak maya bowls.“

“We had a funeral luncheon today, perfect location for the Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery- the set up/family style food they have specifically for this type of event is great- private area, pleanty of food, good food. But what made me come on to leave a review was the great waitress we had. She went above and beyond, finding out my daughter couldn't eat much because her wisdom teeth had been pulled last week, and got her pleanty of mashed potatoes, and she was able to take some to go too. I know it doesn't sound like much, but when your 13, you haven't been able to eat much for the past week, have to go to all day funeral services, and then a lunch where your not sure what you will be able to eat, her kindness was very much appreciated! Thank you!“

“I've been there 2x this week for breakfast. First time I had the chicken fried steak and fruit. While not much on presentation (not an easy dish to " spiff up"), it was delicious. The service was a bit slow. Today I had the gypsy skillet and substituted for the fruit. Better presentation. Server remembered me and was was very attentive. I hope to go back for their new dinner. Maybe they could table tent some of the different dinners?“

“I have to write a super positive review about a waitress here. This is my favorite place to have a wholesome, down to earth, old-fashioned breakfast or lunch. The food is so tasty and done well but the main reason I comeback is because of the waitress Suzanne! She is so personable and attentive. She lives in the area so you can converse with her about local issues and know she is feeling the pain about things going on in our town right now. She's gentle and funny and really knows her stuff. I depend on her recommendations often. She is a hidden treasure in Joliet and should be recognized for the exceptional job she brings to her job.“

“I got the House Special Mai Fun, added two packets of spy sauce. I really enjoyed my meal, would definitely recommend.
The housemate ordered chicken and broccoli, and the reason we took away a single star, we found a bone in one of her chicken bits. Other than the bone she says it was okay.
The interior of the restaurant was pretty threadbare. Overall a fairly decent place with some good food.“

“Super quick, great quality which was unexpected and whenever ive had gatherings they are the best place to get your party pizzas. Sandwiches are great, ive never had that old fry oil taste from anything and they'll customize whatever you want. For lunch they almost always have slices ready to go with cheap quick delivery.“

“On Feb 17 my granddaughter got married so we decided to go to Cracker Barrel previously I had spoke to the manager Angel to warn her 25-30 people were coming by the way she's awesome! The food was great the waitresses were so nice we had a wonderful experience. I go there to shop lol my daughter eats there every weekend so I would recommend this place hands down!!!!“

“My first time here . found this place by accident. I'm glad I stopped and gave it a chance .atmosphere was quite. Had the parrillada de camarones( grilled seafood)). Gave it a 4 on service she needed a little help, maybe someone to come around and check on the Patrons . She made me a very nice strawberry margarita, I was very happy with it.“

“I had a bad experience my first time going after they opened but I gave it another try tonight and I was so impressed with the waitress, I asked her name she said Stephanie and she said she is fairly new, well hopefully you get alot more servers like her she was perfect and so extremely friendly, we will ask to be seated at her tables next time for sure! My first experience the waitress didn't even smile ,I had to ask numerous times for obvious items it was rediculous but definitely going back now also she wasn't just standing around like the last time I went 3 waitresses just chatting and actually had to ask for one of them to take our order after 15 minutes so tonight I give 5 stars last time I gave 1 star“
