“Visited Mr Brown’s in Chicago Heights with my wife and ordered the 6-piece mixed chicken meal with fries and corn fritters as sides. The chicken was juicy inside and crispy outside, not greasy at all. Fries were perfectly cooked and the corn fritters were sweet and flavorful. You can tell the food is made fresh. The guys there were so nice and helpful, very satisfying meal overall.“

“Doug was patient, cordial, very attentive. My mom, 96, has not been out for a meal in 5 yrs. Doug made this a pleasant experience for the 4 of us. Comfortable sitting, great comfortable noise level, not crowded sitting( we had a wheelchair), food excellent. Pork shoulder outstanding. No stickiness on anything. Best day/meal ever! Thank u Doug“

“I had a catered event on October 2nd. The food was excellent!! Especially the Italian beef and Mac and cheese. Went to drop off stuff snd decided to have lunch since we were there. The Reuben was to die for!! As was the beef sandwich. We also loved the fries. Thank you Jim for making the food for our 30th anniversary party . I would highly recommend using them for all of your catering needs. And if you are in Thorton, pick up lunch. You won’t regret it.“

“My only complaint is I’m mad I just found out about this place. We ordered a sausage pizza, it’s right up there in my top 5 best pizza’s. It’s very well seasoned and they don’t skimp on the sausage. I ordered the spaghetti seemed like the pasta was a touch overcooked and the marinara sauce was very bland. My husband’s chicken parmesan was huge but the chicken had no flavor other than the crispy breading. Love the Special salad and the pizza! “The food here is delicious! The menu is huge. If you’re wanting something a little lighter you can opt for a yummy chicken chop salad. We ended up getting the Italian beef and the Ruben. Both are excellent. The Ruben is the best Ruben I have ever eaten in my entire life hands-down you must get! We also had a vanilla shake and the large sizes are ginormous . The food servings are very generous, everything is very shareable. They even have an area where you can grab a beer if you’d like. The restaurant has a large sitting area and there is a covered back patio. Service is excellent and the restaurant very clean. A great place to stop!“

The ovens might have changed from what I was told, but still good food was had. 1989 was the 1st time had ever had.“

“Tried a slice of pepperoni i never had pepperoni under cheese. At first I thought i had the wrong pizza. It was really yummy. Cheese had a nice pull the sauce was straight forward tomato not spicy or acidic probably white pepper garlic salt. Overall 7.5/10 I'll be back to try more next time im in Chicago it's a solo trip can't eat an entire pie. Great job“
