“I grew up on the south side of Chicago I now live in Georgia due to being in the military. I thought that Browns Chicken was long gone, but be still my heart it's still open. The chicken after more than 20 yrs is still crispy and delicious, and the coleslaw is still creamy just the way I liked it back in the day...love Brown's chicken.“
“I love this place! The chicken Marsala is incredible! We also had eggplant roll acting as an appetizer, linguine with clams, gnocchi and manicotti! All great and we all have dinner for tomorrow! Service is great and always like talking to the owner, who makes you feel like you are his personal guests! Only suggestion for improvement is to assign the waitstaff to one area! This happened last time too. The servers are running all over! Be a little kinder to them. They work so hard!“
“The level of service, food and environment are all amazing! The portions are very generous as we always leave full and with leftovers for later. The owners are the sweetest couple. This is our absolute favorite restaurant in the Region! We always recommend Little Italy to friends looking for a restaurant to try.“
“Went in for dinner with my daughters, and the ambiance was so friendly, being greeted when walking in. We did not have to wait long for a table for 5, we had the cod dinner, pizza, chicken tenders, and cheeseburger. The girls and I loved it. Can't believe we moved to Midlothian over a year ago and we just tried this place!! We sure have been missing out.“
“I was a 1st timer and the service was great. The owner gave me an orientation of the various deli products.I left there with a bit of everything - soup, sandwiches, apricot croissant and a large round of tomato basil bread. The atmosphere was quite pleasant.Wheelchair accessibility: There is a dip on the side walk.“
“Omg this was our first time there Saturday and this pizza is so delicious ?. We ordered the thin crust chicken sausage and Jalapeno's. The pizza barely made it home!! Seasoned well nice crispy thin crust. Reminds me of Italian fiesta pizza. We will definitely be back. It's take out only. But if you wanna eat and watch the game it's connected to a cool bar. We had a couple drinks while waiting for our pizza. 9/10“
“Hosted a small family and friends luncheon (31 people) with a set menu (Chicken Marsala). For five of the younger kids had the Kids Meal -- they loved the Kiddie Cocktails! We arrived 45 minutes early and the staff reacted toget things moving right away. Very accomodating! My wife and I will definitely go back for dinners and will also consider for future family events.Vegetarian options: Don't recall the details of the vegetarian offering but the vegetarian in the family was pleased.Kid-friendliness: Had the patience of Saints with accomodating the young ones!“
“Food is always, excellent. Been eating here for over 20 years. Never had a bad dish, only good stuff.Parking: No problem. Just pull right in. Also a to go window in back.Kid-friendliness: Very family friendly. Families meet here on a regular basis. Or tables of friends on a regular basis“
“Both the food and service here were excellent! We sat in the banquet hall and had a small range of food brought out. It was all very good. The sausage and potatoes were phenomenal, and the red sauce on the pasta was some of the best I've ever had. Would definitely revisit this restaurant.“
“Food was super but I was disappointed they could not make a simple bloody MaryParking: Several handicapped parking as well as regular. Parking never a problem even when they are very busyKid-friendliness: There were children who could have used boosters but I did not see anyWheelchair accessibility: This is not a problem“
“10/10!!! I’m fairly new to the neighborhood and I was very hungry after getting off work and I decided today would be the day I finally try the restaurant I ride past often! I ordered a chicken Philly and it was soooooo delicious! I came back to my car to wait on my order and talk with my husband and while waiting, one of the employees was kind enough to bring my food to the car!!! Sooo thoughtful and unexpected. I will def be back and I cannot wait to try the pizza!“
“On a journey to the Village of Matteson to retrieve lost treasures, we stopped for sustenance of the Olive Garden. The kids were hungry, and I was tired. After an enjoyable meal, we ventured onward to find the lost treasure.Kid-friendliness: They had crayons and games for my kids.“
“We came in this evening and sat at the bar. The bar staff was incredibly friendly and engaging. We shared the calamari, which was delicious, and each had our own salad, and shared an entrée of rotini sardi. Great ambience with the paintings and other decorations.“
“I love aurelios, this one has a beautiful facade and interior. It's has a welcoming family feel and it's always a positive environment. The staff is friendly and like always their pizza is delicious. I'd highly recommend the lunch buffet it's a great price with salads, soups, and I think rotating dishes. When we went it was friend chicken, Italian beefs, and Alfredo pasta. Side note: the Italian beef here is surpringly good, definitely the best in the area worth it to go just for that.Vegetarian options: Cheese pizza, mushrooms, spinach, and of course plenty of salad and pasta options.Dietary restrictions: They're really good about getting their orders right, just mention while you order.“
“Always have fresh and delicious slices during lunchtime hours. Pepperoni is quite popular so I advise to call to see if they have slices available before going. They can make a pepperoni pizza for slices by the time you arrive (15 mins)Also their lunch buffet is back open for dine in.“
“So far I've had their bacon cheese fries and a slice of cheesecake. The fries are crispy cheese and bacon are good. Large gives you a good amount to share. I definitely like the crispy fries. It makes me wanna try other things they have.“
“He started selling it a little cart outside of gas station in South Holland. Then he moved into the gas station. Denny open up his own business in South Holland. “Daughter and I were visiting Illinois and craved Italian beef. This place didn't disappoint us. We also tried Grilled Chicken Sandwich and Turkey Hoagie. What can I say we were on a road trip ?Try and I believe you will enjoy their customer service and food.I will return during our next trip to Illinois.Parking: The Hoagie Place is sandwiched with other businesses and they all share the same parking lot which makes for difficult parking .“
“I ordered a John's sausage pizza for pick up. The pizza was ready for me when I arrived. John's offers a unique pizza cut. The sausage was crumbly, spicy and generously topped on the pizza. The pizza crust was amazing.I grew up on John's pizza when I lived in the Calumet region. My family usually visited other locations....Hammond and Calumet City. It's probably been 15 years since I last had John's. I picked up the pizza pictured and it was the same quality as the pizza I grew up on. Munster's John's did not dissappoint. I would recommend John's to family and friends. I'll visit this location again the next time I'm in town. John's is a gem in the Calumet Region.“
“I go on Fridays for happy hour where they have half off drinks. Clean adult fun with no drama. It's normally packed so if you don't like crowds, this place may not be for you. They have one of the best dj's in Chicago on Friday, Dj Reverb and he keeps the place jumping.Parking: Parking can be difficult on Fridays due to happy hour, get there early“
“Well let me honestly say that San francellos and Dyer Indiana always and I mean always got some good delicious pizza. Sorry I don't have any photos but my delivery but the food is always great. The service of delivery has always the time they say. If you haven't had that fat potatoes, pizza or food I recommended highly.“
“*** EDIT- we were very pleased that management corrected things and allowed us to give them another shot. This time around the customer service was way better and the food looks way better than last time. I appreciate management reaching out and making things right with us it does show that they care about their customers and their dignity. Thanks state line in Dyer !We usually go to Schererville because they never mix up our order and its always awesome. But today we went to dyer because schererville is closed on tuesdays. The customer service was horrid, employees were so rude. They absolutely burnt our bread sticks. And then the lady working up front ran out and knocked on my car window stating i didnt have the right food and that she didnt give me the right bag. I had to physically show her everything in my bag was MY ORDER. this location is a disappointment. Never again.“
“Last night my husband and I enjoyed one of the best pizzas we have ever had. It was cooked perfect. We ordered a medium and took leftovers home. Staff members were remarkable. Thumbs up to a great pizza place. Tasted exactly like the original Aurelio’s in Homewood“
“My experience was absolutely great. The environment is very clean. The bathroom facility is very clean. The staff is very nice and welcoming. I felt very comfortable while eating at this restaurant. I had never been there before.Parking: I was able to park in front with my handicap placard. But there is plenty of other parking as wellKid-friendliness: Very kid friendly. Great kids menu“
“Today we ordered a pizza and it was great. We opted for pepperoni instead of sausage and added mushrooms, olives, and green peppers. The crust was wonderful and reminiscent of neopolitan pizza with nice air bubbles and crunchy edges. The toppings were plentiful and fresh. It's nice to have a local pizzeria with a great product. Thanks Bambinos.“
“Super sweet and welcoming staff. I’ve ordered both dine in and take out plenty of times, as the pizzas are a little on the pricey side it’s definitely worth it and if you’re hesitant to try them out I highly recommend you do so. You won’t be disappointed. They also have gluten free options for anyone with dietary restrictions.Dietary restrictions: Gluten Free OptionsKid-friendliness: There’s a claw machine up front and the employees were very sweet when my siblings went up to ask for quarters.“
“Hidden gem. I have passed this place forever. Never thought twice about it. Finally went in. No fancy decor. Meal was very good. Really enjoyed the pizza. Service was very good. Looked at other reviews and they complained about the time it took to get the pizza. It isays right on the menu pizza will take 45 minutes. It's pan pizza, it takes time. Will be back.“
“I stop there and purchase a Polish it was pretty good and these burger special is awesome very good customer service great place to eat keep up the good work pops totally awesomeParking: They are quite a bit of businesses so there are plenty of parkingWheelchair accessibility: It is wheelchair accessible“
“My friend and her husband were visiting from North Carolina, and wanted to try deep dish pizza before they headed back. They were going to try one place, but it wasn't open at the time they wanted to eat lunch, so we went here instead. We each got the lunch deal that included a personal size pizza and a side. We chose the Parmesan and garlic fries for the side, and it was delicious! The pizza was good, my friends liked it, but we were blown away with the fries! Endless refills and the lunch had us waddling out of the restaurant. Our waitress was very friendly and on top of everything, we didn't need to ask for anything. I wish I could remember her name, but it was 5 days ago, and I just can't temember. But she was awesome and I only hope my friend tipped her well.“
“I will miss this iconic italian staple in Chicago Heights. With its closing, we have no link left to the italian past, that build the area. The Heights, will just be another area to drive past for many of us moving forward. God Bless the family and the workers that made this place “
