“I recently visited Auntie Anna Chicago Ridge Mall and I have to say it was a delightful experience! The pretzels were absolutely delicious-soft , warm and perfect baked. they offer a variety of flavors from classic salted to sweet almond. Each pretzel is made a fresh order and you can taste the difference in quality. The staff were also incredibly friendly and efficient, even though it was a bit busy they serve my order with a smile and got it ready and no time. I would recommend if you’re craving a tasty snack while shopping.“

Ordered a couple cookies and the Dubai strawberry cup and it’s literally everything! Cookies have the perfect sweetness, a comfort cookie for sure. The Dubai strawberry cup?? I made my husband turn around to get a second cause there was no way I was sharing mine! Dixie was so sweet! “Cute, small bakery with a lot of different Mexican breads and pastries. When you go in, you grab a tray and a prong to grab the items you want. They also have more cookies and hot Churros at the register. The strawberry churro was amazing. The prices are very reasonable. I really enjoyed the savory cheese and jalapeno bread and the strawberry jam filled pastry.“

“I love an old school Chicago Bakery. You know that feeling when you visit your favorite relative? That’s what it’s like at Impallaria Bakery. You will be greeted with a warm hello and smile when entering. Still family run, they have the best coffee cakes, danishes and donuts this side of the city. You know it’s good when kids stop by on the way to school to grab a donut in the morning. The butter cookies are literally 99%butter and 1% flour and eggs. Don’t hesitate to grab a half pound to eat in the car on the way home.
I’ve have ordered danishes for teacher appreciation or staff meetings and they are always a hit. Flaky pastry with a light drizzle of icing and good balance of filling. The almond crescents are popular.
Old fashioned hand dipped cake donuts are a treat! They also have deli sandwiches which I have yet to order.
Did I mention they have cakes?? Where in the city can you find a fresh cake under $30?????
