Special shoutout to Nina (unfortunately that’s the only name I remember, but everyone deserves their own shout out). She was so so kind and thoughtful. I was deeply touched that she carried my luggage out because the bellman was away briefly. “Love this place. The atmosphere is incredible. It’s preferable to come between 8-11 when the dim lights set. Brett, one of the bartenders, got me out of a depressive episode when I was thinking about an ex. I cannot recommend this place enough. I’d give it 6 starts but black rock restricted me to 5.“

“Met a cool girl named Katie here. She kept saying slay. Hope she’s doing well. Nice place. Awesome pool table, so clean! Jukebox was lovely and esoteric. Maybe in the future think about getting some music like “Breakaway” by Kelly Clarkson or perhaps some Korn. Maybe even a entire selection of Nu Metal. Drinks so yum! I drank them all. Thanks!P.S.“

“Been a few years since I have been back to Weegee's and after taking one step it felt like old times. Vibe and atmosphere were awesome and couldn't have been better. Had a bartender named Jim kid was phenomenal, newer kid so I got a variety of drinks and he killed it. Will 100% be coming back soon no way am I going years between visits. “Visited when I was in Chicago for the first time this July. The tarot card drink specials were incredible, and how serendipitous—the drink I chose was on my signature card—the Queen of wands. Friendly people, amazing drinks, wonderful performers! Can’t wait to come back!“

“Had a great dinner here before a hockey game. The staff were wonderful and super on top of everything. You can tell they prioritize getting people in and out in time to see the games.

Mg group had the complementary cheese bread (very tasty) the Caesar salad (my husband’s was underdressed and just ok, but my other friend said hers was good), lobster bisque (phenomenal), prime rib (my group said it was delicious), seared tuna salad (very good after I requested more dressing),clam bucatini (very tasty), fries (very good), and the passion colada cocktail was excellent (we even got some to go for the game!).

I would definitely recommend before a game. It is a bit pricey though, but the food is delicious.“

“Amazing Speakeasy Experience at Watershed Bar!
We had an incredible time at Watershed Bar, a hidden gem of a speakeasy. The staff was outstanding—attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly. Our drinks and appetizer were top-notch, and the atmosphere was comfortable, relaxing, and inviting. Our waiter went above and beyond, giving us fantastic suggestions on places to visit and restaurants to try in the West Loop area of Chicago. My only regret is not stopping by Watershed on our first night for a drink and some local tips. On our next visit to Chicago, Watershed will definitely be our first stop!“

The bartender was old-school and friendly, pouring drinks with a heavy hand. The vibe is laid-back, unpretentious, and full of regulars who’ve probably been coming here for decades. If you’re looking for fancy cocktails, this ain’t your spot—but if you want a cold beer, cheap drinks, and a real Chicago bar experience, this is it. Definitely coming back next time I’m in the area!“

“The Bershire Room was one of my favorite bars in Chicago. If you like sophisticated, custom made cocktails with a tasteful, classic decor, you’ll love this place! We tried the dealers choice where you choose your type of alcohol and characteristics, it’s such a unique bar menu choice! The server was friendly and spot on, the hosts were sophisticated and professional and the bar is truly special. I’ll be back!!!“

I fell in love with their Cookie Dough Cinnamon Roll my first time coming here. Unfortunately it’s no longer on the menu as they’ve made some recipe changes but the Killer Skillet and the McDowell Burger was absolutely outstanding! Whoever reads this review and is deciding on whether they should come here or not…do yourself a favor and just come. You won’t be disappointed!“

The restaurant itself created such a warm and inviting atmosphere, the perfect setting for a special celebration. My burger was cooked to perfection – juicy, flavorful, and everything a classic burger should be. But the real star of the show was my husband's steak. Oh my goodness! It was tender, and seasoned to perfection... it was simply finger licking good. Even I, a burger enthusiast, had to steal a bite (or two!). And let's not forget the fantastic service! Our bartender was a sport and went above and beyond to embrace our "baldie" theme – even sporting a bald cap for the evening! His playful spirit added so much to the fun and celebratory mood. “We stayed at the Loews Chicago Hotel during a family vacation this past summer and had a great experience. The location was perfect for traveling with two young children—within walking distance to Navy Pier and plenty of restaurants. The hotel itself was modern, clean, and upscale. Our room was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable for our family. We especially enjoyed the indoor pool, which was a highlight for our kids. Valet parking was convenient and easy. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely return!“

“Got my traditional pre-flight drink here on Monday. It was ~$14. There's limited seating at the bar itself. Not sure if you can take the drinks to the surrounding tables, though I assume you can. The bartender allowed me to bring food from the bakery and eat it at the bar. While I was gone he put a napkin over my drink. I love that! It's a little reminder to others that I'll be back and not to mess with my drink! Great place run by great people!“

“Pleasant little bar and casual dining area of the Swissotel. Good for coffee on the go, a relaxing drink and a small meal. My pizza was a little more than ‘small’ but I was able to take what I couldn’t eat away. The staff were always pleasant.
