Moving our daughter into DePaul we came upon the owner of Red Light chicken who gave us a few pointers in parking near his establishment, after taking the time to help us find a spot he happily welcomed us with a free chicken sandwich which I’m happy to report was delicious. It was nice meeting you tonight and I’ll be certainly stopping by again - Fries are a game changer to!!!“

“I am late writing my review but I had to write it !! I visited provare chicago On july 8th !! From start to finish this restaurant gets 5 starts . The decor was nice and set a perfect atmosphere for a great night . We were greeted immediately upon arrival and seated within 5 minutes of being there . Once seated the wait staff began their introduction's on drinks and popular menu item's. After my party ordered drinks and appetizers a gentleman came over (not sure if he was the manager) and introduce himself and made sure we were having a great experience. Appetizers were amazing!! We couldn't wait for dinner!! Our entrées we just as good if not better ! Everything was cooked and seasoned to perfection! When we didn't think the night could get even better the entire wait staff and the gentleman that came over before stopped and recognized my friend for her birthday and brought over a birthday surprise!! I live 307 miles and this place was definitely worth the drive !!!“

“Great experience at FIYA! Went for an early-ish dinner and it was pretty empty, which I honestly prefer. Tried the brussel sprouts (incredible! My favorite dish of the evening I think), the baba with GF pita (also good!!), grilled halloumi, and the mushrooms.

“Fabulous night. Our group tried the special hamburger, beef stew and bangers and mash. All were great. We also tried a special beer and the beer cocktail. The two in our group that had the beer cocktail really liked it! They are not beer people so the cocktail drink version was perfect. To end the night, we did the gingerbread decorating kit. It was fun and tasted great with a Guinness!“

“Red Hot Ranch is amazing. I appreciate the staffs and managers kindness to me even though I have autism and their food is amazing and really good. Owner Brad is very nice. The restaurant is in good condition. Chicago style hot dog is wonderful. Must come back. 10/10.“

“Fabulous restaurant that captures ALL the important points of dining out. The decor and atmosphere are perfect with inviting seats at the bar or table in a cozy setting. The wait staff are friendly and there to please. The tables and dishes are cleaned during your dinner and glasses are always full. I loved the Calabrian chili red sauce so much that I asked for a container to go and the waiter made it happen! I was so happy! The food is amazing in a word. We had the Arancini, Caesar salad, pasta with scallops and a pasta with braised short ribs. Each dish was delicious and perfectly prepared and plated.
Don not sleep on Torchio- just run to get there. I’ll be back the next time I’m in Chicago.“

“Celebrated my wife’s birthday here with three other families, as we were in Chicago between baseball tournaments. Not only was Coda di Volpe able to accommodate a same day reservation for a large party, but they went above and beyond, from personalizing menus with a birthday wish, to adding a special touch on dessert. With four teenage boys in tow, the menu provided ample carbs and comfort for them while we enjoyed a broad sample of the offerings - all were very happy with their meals! Cocktails and wine selection was also on the mark. Kudos to Jeremy and his staff. We came all dressed in white and he told us he knew he wanted to do something special for our party… they knocked it out of the park! Looking forward to coming back to Chicago and making a beeline for this restaurant… a no-brainer.“

Small caveat is that the wing sauces were sauced inconsistently. Some batches were super saucy, others a bit drier. Standout flavors were honey miso and truffle parm.“

“I have gone to Andros Taverna for many years now where I am never disappointed and always impressed with the service, the quality of food and ingredients, the atmosphere and the passion in general. Chef Doug Psaltis is a true expert and artist performing at the highest levels. The gyros are the best, best gyros in Chicago by far, the seafood world class, the homemade bread and pita are incredible. The foods and meats are cooked over wood fire, wood fire grilled. We had our daughters baptism catered from here which was excellent assortment of Greek food - this is a Greek restaurant you will go to for many years to come.“

“Great atomosphere cool concept like how they call out the alcohol and food orders when Ready. The pimento Mac was great flavor, as was the mashed and gravy. Very unique to have boneless breast thighs wing and leg portions battered and fried. Was very good. I just think the sauces were way to pricey at $1.45 a sauce wow even 99 cents seems a lot but would feel better lol. At least give one with the order or reduce the sauce price. But overall they need to spread this concept into more areas for sure out side like in the suburbs“

“This place is the coolest bar I have been to in a long time, hip and fun but not pretentious. They paid attention to every detail when building and designing. The white marbel bar has clean lines and looks fresh. All of the hardware finishes look sharp and clean. The patio is large and inviting with a fire place and plenty of tables to sit at. The drink menu is creative and refreshing and the staff is kind and welcoming. I cannot say enough good things about this gem of a bar. I am excited to hang out this fall on the patio by the fireplace with good drink in My hand.“

We ordered through DoorDash, and when we called the restaurant, they were incredibly generous. I'm gluten free and I LOVE that everything is labeled with an easy to read GF symbol so it helps me identify what I can and can't eat. The gluten free buttermilk pancakes were excellent. My husband had the corn beef skillet and he said his bloody mary was great as well! We'll definitely be back! Felisa was super friendly and made sure to answer my questions about gluten precautions.“

“This was our 2nd time coming to Zombie Taco with our kids and they loved it! Such a fun decor and not the traditional seating. It’s a bar-type atmosphere but it has a ton of old-school games that we can play (that was such a hit with all of us!) The food is so good and priced well. The drinks are amazing and really great customer service. It’s even kid-friendly! (Suggest going earlier though if you plan to bring your kids.) Our family LOVES Zombie Taco!!“
