I was planning on where to eat lunch prior to the Lunar New Year celebration event on Argyle Street, and randomly discovered this Vietnamese place. It's right on Argyle St in the Lunar New Year parade's marching direction. The waiter kindly allowed me to change my table to the one closest to the street where I could watch the event while I was there eating lunch:) I got one of the Broken Rice dishes called "Com Tam Loan Dac Biet 7 Mon". 3.5/5 The waiter was very hospitable, which was the best part of the time. I got a pho and summer rolls. The rolls were okay - I think there was a disproportionate amount of noodles which made it taste rather starchy. The pho was also okay - the broth was clear which was nice but the flavor was not as deep. Honestly I appreciated the vibe and the hospitality, while the food was not as good as some other places. Would still recommend though!

This is my first time to write reviews for this restaurant. It's a lot smaller than other restaurants in area. However, tables were clean and super friendly staff. My wife who ordered the Pho đặc biệt and she said it was delicious and the flavor just about right. However, my son who ordered the Bún bò Huế, according to him, the broth needs to have little more Mắm tôm, then that would make it perfect like homemade.
