It's located right across from the Jefferson Park Terminal.

“"Popeye's is the shiznit" I absolutely love this place. The staff are nice and helpful. But if you get rude or crazy, they will show you the door real quick. My ONLY issue with this location is that, they would not accept my gift card that I received for Christmas. So now I have a $40 card going to waste. Other than that one issue, I recommend this place ?.Oh, I almost forgot, also be prepared to get shaken down by the many homeless people that hang out in and around this store. Other than those TWO issues. I enjoy going here.“
“This and I mean THIS location is always busy and has the freshest hot food. Been coming here regularly and I have not been disappointed! Hell I even recommend grabbing lunch here on Thanksgiving. Yet, staff are very accommodating and give off a team feeling I haven't seen at a fast food joint ever!“
“Somewhat friendly so is the atmosphere, clean, organized, I notice a plugs ins for charging phones? Computers and so on….I guess… but when I tried it it didn’t work at all so what is the purpose of the plug ins to be in there? But over all its good place to unwind“
“It was good. We needed some fried chicken to serve alongside some other dishes to visiting friends. I wish they'd had the fried shrimp available that was on the menu but unfortunately they didn't. We liked the chicken and fries though.“
“This is a very clean restaurant to buy your food. The meals are well prepared and the prices are reasonable. In addition, the staff are well mannered to all customers. If you're in this area, try them out. I appreciate the way they treat customers.
Parking: Parking here is abundant, and the area is clean, with lights available.

“This particular store is amazing! At least the young lady that took my order was and so I feel the entire restaurant is 5 stars! 🌟 it was close to 11pm on 9/17/2025 she really went above and beyond. She didn't know it, but, I'd had a really rough day and outing; this young woman whom I believe was the Manager or Supervisor; really turned it around and made my whole day seem like a good one. Her and the entire staff were great! When I was leaving I could not help but to blurt out, MY GIRL! she's awesome and I wish I knew her name so I could add it here.
This is for restaurant 10312 at 5353 Harlem. I'll be coming here more and more, maybe not so late lol but I'll be there again... maybe even tonight! This Popeyes Louisiana kitchen is definitely Flex approved 💪🏾🏆“

“I particularly like how the neighbors at the fitness building next door plow the snow for the sidewalk so it's easy to get in and out in any weather. Popeyes crew was even seen helping a car in the snow near by. Try the pickled jalapeños 10/10“

“I ordered 6 Garlic Parmesan wings. I liked the crispiness, but the chicken meat didn’t taste very fresh and had a slight aftertaste. My friends ordered sandwiches and said they were tasty. They also have sides like mashed potatoes, Cajun fries, red beans & rice, and biscuits. The service was fast and friendly.“
“My mom and I visited this Popeyes to grab something to eat. We were in the neighborhood for a CPR Class. We got the Darin Dab Ghost wings. I think that is what they are called. Anyway, when I tell you them wings were good, they were good. First the customer service was great. And the wings were hot and fresh, nicely seasoned and crunchy!!!!! Will definitely stop in again when in the neighborhood. Just wanted to make sure you all knew that. Great customer service and food! We visited on a Saturday.“
“I didn’t feel like cooking dinner and my family and I had a taste for Popeyes Chicken. We don’t eat Popeyes often and when you get a crave for something you want your tastebuds to be satisfied. I came to this Popeyes location around 4:30 yesterday evening, everything was fresh and pipping hot. The customer service was excellent and the staff were friendly. The inside was clean and quiet. I clipped a coupon deal from the Popeyes app on my phone they honored in store. Overall great experience and I will return to this location even though there are 2 other Popeyes closer to my home.“

Every time I visit, I’m impressed by the flavor, freshness, and consistency of the food. Their fried chicken is perfectly crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside — easily some of the best fast food chicken out there. The spicy version is my go-to!
The sides are just as delicious — I highly recommend the mashed potatoes with Cajun gravy and the buttery biscuits. The service is always friendly and fast, and the restaurant is clean and well-kept.
If you’re craving bold Southern flavors and comfort food done right, Popeyes is the place to go. Can’t wait for my next visit!“
“Not the Greatest Location for Dine-in or Parking due to UIC being so close. But, the food and service beats other locations like 818 e 47th st.
When I arrived for my online order the food was hot and ready for pickup.
The hot box was fully stocked with all the chicken offered in Store. (Breast, Wings, Tenders.. Both Mild And Spicy) also, fully stocked with sides nothing was missing.
It’s sad but, I will be riding past locations (47th Cottage and 35th King Drive) just to receive the quality of service here!

“I recently visited this Popeyes location and had a really satisfying experience. The chicken was exactly what you want from Popeyes - hot, crispy, and flavorful. The breading had that perfect crunch, and everything tasted fresh.
The service was good and efficient. The staff was friendly and got my order out in a reasonable amount of time. I appreciated that they got everything right - no missing items or mix-ups, which can sometimes be an issue at busy fast food spots.
The restaurant was pretty clean, which is always a plus. The dining area was well-maintained and the tables were wiped down.
For the price, you really get good value here. The portions are generous and the quality matches what you're paying for. If you're in the area and craving some solid fried chicken, this location definitely delivers.

The mash potatoes was amazing! The red beans and rice was awesome! Even the Mac and cheese was topped with real shredded cheese. My husband and I visited right before closing so the the chicken bites were a bit dry but other than that, Chicago's Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen, hands down has the best food out of all the other locations I've visited.“

They have Loyola University a block away and are located directly off Lake Shore Drive. They aim to please . It’s a shame some customers are so bossy and rude at times to the staff here . This is a must eat at Popeyes TRUST ME people …

“I went to the location on 87th Stony Island and it was closed. Normally my favorite location. So I went to the location on 75th Lafayette it was awesome. The food was fresh and they had all the trimmings in stock. Some don't have honey or sprinkles. Everything that we ordered was fresh. Chicken biscuits and fries were hot. This is the location that I will be coming too next time I have a craving for Popeyes! Thank you to the team that was working.“

This is the first restaurant that I’ve ever been to where that wasn’t a line out the door or the parking lot wasn’t backed up all the way into the street. “Food is not the problem yet. It's the fact that nobody answers the Phone at this Popeyes when you have to call to ask a question about if they have an item that's on the Menu or not. Sometimes these Popeyes don't have no Spicy Chicken for the Day, no Tenders for the Day, or sometimes both.“

“the correlation between a Popeyes w poor ratings being the best ones to go to needs to be studied because I came while a trailer load of door dashers were waiting for their orders and after the rush was managed they helped us right away. They were all friendly. We walked our food back home and it was still hot and fresh. Biscuits were good, Chicken was on point. To be fair I've always made it a point to go inside so I can very I'll get my order taken as a precaution with Popeyes but whoever was working the evening of 9/11 did a great job despite how busy it was. It was 2 women's and 2 dudes. I the lobby could use some investing in for some chairs but overall I'm happy living next door.“
“So happy to have a good late night spot to eat near us. Clean location, friendly staff, freshly made food. The gentleman at the counter was excellent at his job. He took the time to recommend the best food package for our needs and suggested his favorite sauce to pair with it, we received generous portions and didn’t feel rushed out of the dining room.“
