“"Popeye's is the shiznit" I absolutely love this place. The staff are nice and helpful. But if you get rude or crazy, they will show you the door real quick. My ONLY issue with this location is that, they would not accept my gift card that I received for Christmas. So now I have a $40 card going to waste. Other than that one issue, I recommend this place ?.Oh, I almost forgot, also be prepared to get shaken down by the many homeless people that hang out in and around this store. Other than those TWO issues. I enjoy going here.“
“The staff here was very friendly. They had some great deals at this location, I highly recommend the 10 piece signature chicken combo for only $12.
I was also redeeming a code for T-Mobile Tuesday, it was a little hard for them to put it down in the order, but at the end of it, they took care of me and gave me the coupon offer. Overall great experience.“
“I eat here like once a week. There is absolutely no comparison to any other popeyes I've been to. Food is always fresh and hot, the manager is always positive and friendly, and food arrives fast af. This store and staff raises the bar for fast food and sets a new standard. Only location i even want to go to“

“Usually go there for take out only. The service is extremely fast, because there’s usually a ton of employees working. Food comes out fast, fresh and hot. Employees are polite and helpful.
Parking: Has free parking lot, but not many spaces, like 10 total or so.“
“One of the better Popeye's I've been to - the dining area is very clean, and bathrooms are clean for a fast food place. There were people there eating lunch with their family, and some on their laptops doing work - nice environment. The chicken also wasn't too greasy, what I had, and was typical for a Popeye's. Ordered online and my food was ready when I arrived.“
“I really enjoyed the food here. And the day I was in this particular restaurant, there was a ton of activity going on. But the staff still managed to stay calm, get the job done and have nice hot food for everyone.

“Very clean for the most part. The woman's washroom kinda smelt like a cats litter box. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. You can tell you have a great respectful crew with everyone at different age levels. It was nice. I ate in and was there for a while so I got see a lot of the different interactions.“
“When I've been there they were understaffed and were thus a little slow but apart from that, it's Popeyes and they make great food. This Popeye serves the food that Popeyes serves. It's not the staff's fault that they're slow“

“Service 4-4-25 I ordered the 2 pc weekly dinner. It costs $5.99 + tax. I was disappointed with the taste. I even tried to sprinkle Cajun sparkle over the meat to enhance the flavor. It made it worse. The Cajun sparkle does not taste the way I remember. It was extremely salty with little Cajun flavor. The red beans and rice were weak in flavor. I think too much water was added to the beans sauce 🤔 .“
“This is probably the last efficient Popeyes left in the city. I'm curious if it is due to the lack of having a drive thru. It seems that most drive-thru locations have stressed out staff, longer wait times, and tend to put out food that is of lesser quality.“

Clean tables, friendly staff and this hamam/spa music in the restaurant will give you a different dining experience. Popeyes, award these employees.

“Juicy chicken, fast service, and friendly staff! The only issue was this Popeye's was a bit small and cramped, so I would recommend doing takeout instead of dine-in. When I went, they also had a thigh deal (3 pcs and 1 biscuit for only $7). I got the Ghost Pepper chicken sandwich, which contained a huge juicy piece of chicken, some sauce, and pickles.“

“I went to this place a year ago and it was awful but I happened to be in the area and gave it another shot and I'm glad I did. The food was warm and ready in a timely matter. It was a complete 180 from last year . I hope they keep up the good work because I'd definitely drive the extra 2 miles to go back here if they do. Nothing was missing or looking too suspicious to eat like some other Popeyes do in a 5 mile radius and it seems like as of 2 months ago this place is on the up and up. I will update this again if they fail but for now this is my go to for chicken.“

Today it was exceptional. I have to give them credit on the service. The shrimp was fresh & hot. and the taste was spot on the way it should be. The mash potatoes was amazing! The red beans and rice was awesome! Even the Mac and cheese was topped with real shredded cheese. My husband and I visited right before closing so the the chicken bites were a bit dry but other than that, Chicago's Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen, hands down has the best food out of all the other locations I've visited.“

They have Loyola University a block away and are located directly off Lake Shore Drive. They aim to please . It’s a shame some customers are so bossy and rude at times to the staff here . This is a must eat at Popeyes TRUST ME people …

“I went to the location on 87th Stony Island and it was closed. Normally my favorite location. So I went to the location on 75th Lafayette it was awesome. The food was fresh and they had all the trimmings in stock. Some don't have honey or sprinkles. Everything that we ordered was fresh. Chicken biscuits and fries were hot. This is the location that I will be coming too next time I have a craving for Popeyes! Thank you to the team that was working.“

“So happy to have a good late night spot to eat near us. Clean location, friendly staff, freshly made food. The gentleman at the counter was excellent at his job. He took the time to recommend the best food package for our needs and suggested his favorite sauce to pair with it, we received generous portions and didn’t feel rushed out of the dining room.“
