This is a great Popeye's. The food is always fresh and the people are friendly.
It's located right across from the Jefferson Park Terminal.

“I eat here like once a week. There is absolutely no comparison to any other popeyes I've been to. Food is always fresh and hot, the manager is always positive and friendly, and food arrives fast af. This store and staff raises the bar for fast food and sets a new standard. Only location i even want to go to“
“This is a very clean restaurant to buy your food. The meals are well prepared and the prices are reasonable. In addition, the staff are well mannered to all customers. If you're in this area, try them out. I appreciate the way they treat customers.
Parking: Parking here is abundant, and the area is clean, with lights available.

“The staff here was very friendly. They had some great deals at this location, I highly recommend the 10 piece signature chicken combo for only $12.
I was also redeeming a code for T-Mobile Tuesday, it was a little hard for them to put it down in the order, but at the end of it, they took care of me and gave me the coupon offer. Overall great experience.“
“"Popeye's is the shiznit" I absolutely love this place. The staff are nice and helpful. But if you get rude or crazy, they will show you the door real quick. My ONLY issue with this location is that, they would not accept my gift card that I received for Christmas. So now I have a $40 card going to waste. Other than that one issue, I recommend this place ?.Oh, I almost forgot, also be prepared to get shaken down by the many homeless people that hang out in and around this store. Other than those TWO issues. I enjoy going here.“
“I really enjoyed the food here. And the day I was in this particular restaurant, there was a ton of activity going on. But the staff still managed to stay calm, get the job done and have nice hot food for everyone.

“One of the better Popeye's I've been to - the dining area is very clean, and bathrooms are clean for a fast food place. There were people there eating lunch with their family, and some on their laptops doing work - nice environment. The chicken also wasn't too greasy, what I had, and was typical for a Popeye's. Ordered online and my food was ready when I arrived.“
“Usually go there for take out only. The service is extremely fast, because there’s usually a ton of employees working. Food comes out fast, fresh and hot. Employees are polite and helpful.
Parking: Has free parking lot, but not many spaces, like 10 total or so.“

“Service 4-4-25 I ordered the 2 pc weekly dinner. It costs $5.99 + tax. I was disappointed with the taste. I even tried to sprinkle Cajun sparkle over the meat to enhance the flavor. It made it worse. The Cajun sparkle does not taste the way I remember. It was extremely salty with little Cajun flavor. The red beans and rice were weak in flavor. I think too much water was added to the beans sauce 🤔 .“

“Very clean for the most part. The woman's washroom kinda smelt like a cats litter box. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. You can tell you have a great respectful crew with everyone at different age levels. It was nice. I ate in and was there for a while so I got see a lot of the different interactions.“

“Stopped by to try out the pickle glaze. Place is small and quaint. The staff is friendly. One major problem is they either need a better ventilation system or have to clean the grease because the entire restaurant was filled with smoke the whole hour or so I was there. They are lucky people keep opening the doors and that the place isn't sealed tight since this could easily turn into a carbon monoxide poisoning. The food itself was decent. The pickle glaze adds a bit of sweetness, but I wish it was tossed instead of what looks to be squirted on since there wasn't enough sauce.“
“I went to this place a year ago and it was awful but I happened to be in the area and gave it another shot and I'm glad I did. The food was warm and ready in a timely matter. It was a complete 180 from last year . I hope they keep up the good work because I'd definitely drive the extra 2 miles to go back here if they do. Nothing was missing or looking too suspicious to eat like some other Popeyes do in a 5 mile radius and it seems like as of 2 months ago this place is on the up and up. I will update this again if they fail but for now this is my go to for chicken.“

“Juicy chicken, fast service, and friendly staff! The only issue was this Popeye's was a bit small and cramped, so I would recommend doing takeout instead of dine-in. When I went, they also had a thigh deal (3 pcs and 1 biscuit for only $7). I got the Ghost Pepper chicken sandwich, which contained a huge juicy piece of chicken, some sauce, and pickles.“

“Actually to be pretty shorthanded, only 1 man cooking, 1 drive thru lady, a manager lady working the front , door dash deliveries coming and going, the ser ice was great and the food was excellent!!! Except for the Cole slaw.. no store seems to understand Cole slaw has to have a separate freezer from all meats, fruits, veggies, and deserts. The atmosphere came from the people, attitudes, from a man, and a woman were the worst. 2 other people saw it was crowded and just left without cursing out the staff!!! The staff stayed cool!!! “Food was great. It took them over 30 mins to make fresh chicken and once it was ready they forgot my chicken tenders. I bought a lot of food. I went all the way home and realized my tenders were missing. I had to go back and get the rest of my food“

“My folks enjoy Popeye's and this location has gotten far better at fulfilling orders than during the pandemic. Occasionally with new staff there can be communication difficulties but with those employees that have stuck with it and continue on, service is good and the food slaps.
For the best deal that often beats in-store pricing, you'll want to get the app and place orders there. Especially if you want freebies or meal deals. The online offer can save you $$ in additional food.“
