My Wreck sandwich was prepared just the way I wanted it. It was so delicious. The staff were very friendly.

Potbelly in Lincoln Square has been a neighborhood spot for 30 years. The staff, including Ozzie and Abdellah, are always welcoming, courteous, professional, and timely with food. Management on weekends is nice, friendly, and patient with customers and kids, always checking in to ensure everyone is happy and fed. The food is consistent, with bread that has a nice toast but is not overtoasted, fresh toppings, and a reasonably diverse menu. The Veggie Melt is available. Fountain drinks are self-serve, with a choice of half unsweetened iced tea and half Strawberry Dragonfruit Refresher. There is a great selection of milkshakes. The dining room is clean with plenty of seating, including wheelchair accessible tables. However, the entire back half of the restaurant smells like an actual sewer, making it impossible to sit near the restrooms, and this has been an issue for months or years. Despite this, the staff is top notch and helped an 80-year-old lady with dementia.
