“This is the second time my brothers and I have come. The first time we were only able to get drinks because the corn dogs were sold out. It was sad but regardless we had amazing drinks. This time we were able to try the classic corn dogs. They were amazing, the hot mayo went great with the cheese. The drinks we had were also amazing!!! “People are missing out on this spot coz it's a bit further in than the other bubble tea spot. But they have real good drinks ang bingsu. Their bingsu is not just shaved ice, it's layers of flavors. We got the mango bingsu and we had the mango shaved ice, chunks of mango, some jelly, and even some mango puree at the bottom. For the drinks, would recommend the Taro Coconut Matcha. Their coconut pudding topping is also real good. The Tiramisu Milk Tea is not too sweet.“

Working with customer service has really taught me customers are never fully satisfied especially if they’re picky and just plain miserable. If you don’t like something why go and spread hate. “Molly Tea is honestly pretty damn good. The drinks are smooth, flavorful, and you can tell they put real effort into the recipes. It’s one of those spots where the quality stands out right away — everything tastes fresh and well-balanced.

The only downside is the price and how little you actually get. The cups feel a bit small for what you’re paying, which makes it more of an occasional treat than an everyday stop.

Still, the flavor is strong enough that I keep coming back. If they ever bump up the portion sizes or ease up on the pricing, this place would be unbeatable.“

“Great bubble tea spot! We always come here when we're in the Wicker Park area. The lady working is very nice and she can even make a custom bubble tea if there's something you want that's not on the menu (like a lychee peach smoothie, mm!) What a boss. “I was downtown craving boba at like 7pm, when a lot of boba shops were closed, and this vending machine came up on google, so I decided to try it! I got the roast oolong milk tea with agar and it was sweet and creamy and tasted the same as what I I would expect fresh from a boba shop. My only complaint is that I wish the different bubble teas were clearly labeled right in the vending machine. Instead, you have to go through and click on each one on the touch screen to find out what they are.“

“Drinks and efficiency are 5/5. Best fruit tea in the area. It’s super cute with the couch and flowering tree, there’s some games, and good music. Accessibility is poor tho. I am using a temporary mobility aid, and there’s a couple inch step before the first door, plus no button to automatically open the doors. The path to the bathroom today was also very narrow due to lots of boxes, and I couldn’t get my wheelchair in (at least today). Seems like fixable things; add a small cement ramp by the door, clear the hallway, add a door button. :) I really do love this place overall and have even gotten a cute plushie keychain here too!“

“Rejoice! The place for some great Chinese teas had arrived near you! Yes, it does share the fad with the Taiwan born boba drinks. But our eye was caught by the nice website with images of nice teacups and ambiance. Only 23 miles away from home we discovered that the trip in a hot and still pandemic day was totally worth it. In few words owner, Shaolong picked the teaist vibes in us and offered us a great real experience of sharing a favorite tea - he introduced us to the wonders of Zhang Ping Shui Xian (漳平水仙). Unlike the real "black tea", the Pu-erh, this one also comes in bricks, yet is a type of oolong with an amazing floral scent. We were honored with 4 different samples which we are currently slowly and thoroughly testing (3 pics). And yes, the fermentation levels are different - some definitely will give you a great oolong taste, but others are just a unique elixir on its own. But back to the house itself. I see and hope for great unrolling potential. This could become a place for tea lovers and teaists in training. Why not theme days, classes, shared experiences, a club? We would join. The 23 miles are a drive, but there isn't much of a real tea-drinking place in our Chicagoland (unlike smaller cities in North America like Portland and Montreal). However, Living Water Tea House is a great promise and it totally won our full support! Keep the cups warm!“

“The tea is great, but here's a few things to know :)

- You need a phone number to order,
- Doesn't accept cash, so you have to pay with card,
- Even if you have a coupon, you need an account to use it.
- The fruity teas are good, boba too, normal tea is good as well, but I don't recommend the milk foam that you can choose as a topping. Last time I picked it, it tasted sour/salty, which either means it was spoiled milk or somehow the foam was in contact with salt (?) honestly couldn't finish my tea cuz of the taste 😭

After my meal, I accidentally dropped my wallet in the restroom without realizing it. Thankfully, a kind customer found it and turned it in to the front desk. “been here a few times, each is better experience that the last, attempt to try most of their items on menu. So far, my favorite is their Mango smoothies with cloud cheese, as drink. Their cloud cheese is really good and a balance of salty taste with the sweetness of the mango, the tapioca in the drinks is plentiful but not overpowering the water content. I had it in other Chinatown restaurants, some had too many tapiocas that my teeth were tired chewing them. Cuckoo is not. Their Don (Japanese rice bowls) and their bibimbap (Korean rice bowls) are excellent. Have not decide which is better because each have their own uniqueness and tastes; I had 2 types of their bibimbap before and only 1 type of their Don. So far, I am leaning towards the Don but there is excellent amount of veggie in their Bibimbap, which is ideal for weigh concise person. Wish they have a loyal customer rewards style of drinks incentives, much like some restaurants, for example, buy 9 and get 1 free drink, or some % off after 5 drink purchases, and give customers an advertisable nice pocket size reward card to keep track of their purchases. That may also work with food item purchases as well. Crossing my fingers that this may happen soon. With summer in Chicago, cool refreshing drinks is ideal and as loyal customers, return for more drink purchases with rewards will be even better.“
