Bartender Ashley was fantastic and made me an off menu chartreuse cocktail after telling her I loved chartreuse. Met some friendly locals as well. Will def be back. “This place is the coolest bar I have been to in a long time, hip and fun but not pretentious. They paid attention to every detail when building and designing. The white marbel bar has clean lines and looks fresh. All of the hardware finishes look sharp and clean. The patio is large and inviting with a fire place and plenty of tables to sit at. The drink menu is creative and refreshing and the staff is kind and welcoming. I cannot say enough good things about this gem of a bar. I am excited to hang out this fall on the patio by the fireplace with good drink in My hand.“

“We had a fair experience at Lilac Tiger. Went in on a Friday night and were seated fairly quickly. My cocktail was great. My friend's, not so much. We ordered the vada pav and the chettinad paneer curry. My friend also got mussels. Everything was alright. Very few vegetarian options and the ones we ordered were okay. Service was a little spotty. The hostess who greeted and seated us was very professional and was amazing.
We weren't super impressed but the place is worth checking out and we will definitely want to give it another try.“

“This is a Michelin star rated restaurant that offers prix fixe menus, they can also accommodate gluten free. We had the vegan tasting with the non alcoholic pairing (and we added an extra course of the morel samosa) and our total with gratuity was about $500. I was very hungry when I came in at 538pm and I left very satisfied when I left at 830pm. We also asked to see the kitchen which was a treat, really appreciated all the staff especially Yusuf.“

“I am late writing my review but I had to write it !! I visited provare chicago On july 8th !! From start to finish this restaurant gets 5 starts . The decor was nice and set a perfect atmosphere for a great night . We were greeted immediately upon arrival and seated within 5 minutes of being there . Once seated the wait staff began their introduction's on drinks and popular menu item's. After my party ordered drinks and appetizers a gentleman came over (not sure if he was the manager) and introduce himself and made sure we were having a great experience. Appetizers were amazing!! We couldn't wait for dinner!! Our entrées we just as good if not better ! Everything was cooked and seasoned to perfection! When we didn't think the night could get even better the entire wait staff and the gentleman that came over before stopped and recognized my friend for her birthday and brought over a birthday surprise!! I live 307 miles and this place was definitely worth the drive !!!“

“Been here several times, always a blast and great drinks. Last visit was weird. Kinda stuffy. Bartender was uninterested and ok with letting customers wait along time before taking order. I hope things are not changing.“

We only found out after speaking to the manager, to give her due props, that she is pretty new! From the cocktails(so balanced and tasty)to the food(every bite was delicious)to the service(attentive without being overwhelming)to the atmosphere(beautiful and moody), everything was on point! When I made the reservation I had the option to say if we were celebrating anything special and we were, my daughters graduation from Masters program! I never know if restaurants actually read that or not but last night I KNOW they did because they went above and beyond to celebrate her, with a free drink(she got to roll dice for that!), a candle on her dessert drink, a personalized congratulations card, signed by all the staff and even as we were leaving the hostess congratulated her on the way out! Everything about our experience at Oliver's was amazing and absolutely worth it. Here’s what stood out:

Drinks: The Oliver’s Martini is an absolute must-try – and trust me, upgrading to the caviar olives is a game changer. The Espresso Martini was another standout, and the Old Fashioned was perfectly crafted.

Food: Every bite was a delight. The bread and crispy artichokes were the perfect start. For mains, the scallops and burger were nothing short of top tier – flavorful, perfectly cooked, and absolutely satisfying.

Dessert: We couldn’t resist diving into two options – the Key Lime Cheesecake and the Salted Caramel. Both were exceptional, and we’re already looking forward to trying more on our next visit.

The “lamb delight” menu item was the best lamb I have ever had in a restaurant: tender, succulent, and prepared to perfection. The side salad accompanying it was not your ordinary side salad! My wife and I both enjoyed the Mixed Meze appetizer plate. Each of the five items was quite good but the muhammara was to die for. We ended our meal with tea, baklava and kubralice. The décor and ambience were refreshing and relaxing, and the service was outstanding. The pricing was very reasonable. Please give it a try. We do not think you will be disappointed.“

I needed something greasy and practical for a hangover. I also needed to watch the Minnesota gophers beat up Rutgers (do they even have a mascot)? I ordered the double smash burger, and went to work. The service was quick, very quick, which made me believe the burger would be subpar. My first bite awoke me. I was so back. Every following taste left me with childlike joy, much like a young Jack Slunecka frolicking through the South Dakota prairies. I can not recommend this establishment more. “Absolutely loved this Bar! Great cocktails and a lovely surprise to find Brugal 1888, exquisite Dominican Rum. The place is cozy, small but filled with surprisingly interesting decor, like the “call your mother phone” and the hotel’s keys. You have to wait a bit in line but the door guy is super cool.
The bartender made me a Daiquiri with the Brugal 1888, I was in Heaven!!! Staff is super cool, professional and experienced.
