“I have gone to Andros Taverna for many years now where I am never disappointed and always impressed with the service, the quality of food and ingredients, the atmosphere and the passion in general. Chef Doug Psaltis is a true expert and artist performing at the highest levels. The gyros are the best, best gyros in Chicago by far, the seafood world class, the homemade bread and pita are incredible. The foods and meats are cooked over wood fire, wood fire grilled. We had our daughters baptism catered from here which was excellent assortment of Greek food - this is a Greek restaurant you will go to for many years to come.“

“This is an iconic Greektown bar and restaurant that has been serving the community and others for decades, along with their companion restaurant, Meli Cafe, the best breakfast/brunch/lunch spot around. “I really enjoy Mediterranean food and this dish not disappoint. The trio of dips was super tasty and salmon and spinach salad good too and both were plenty to share between two for lunch and arrived to our table quickly. Pricing was reasonable too“

“BEST GREEK SALADS ! I always order from here and I’m never disappointed! I’ve never had a better Greek salad than Mr. Zee’s. Their Greek salad dressing ….. I mean I wish I had a gallon of it at home so I can put it on everything. I think they should start selling it or maybe give me the recipe ?? Either way I’d be happy 😊 The spanakopita spinach pie and also amazing. I miss their rice pudding. I don’t think they make it anymore but regardless Mr Zees is amazing !!!! Thank you for your delicious food 😁“

“I went here occasionally after class and have nothing but fond memories. I don't say this lightly... they have the BEST Italian Beef in Chicago. I've tried hundreds of places and beefs. They have them all beat. Service is great, the food is great, and the establishment is clean, quiet, and homey. Fantastic.“

“Truly exquisite Greek cuisine with gourmet dishes you won’t find in a typical Greektown. we ordered the IOÁNNINAS PEYNIRLÍ and GIGANTES LADERES to share, both delicious. The duck gyro and AGRIOGURUNO ME STRIFTOUDIA were delightful. Superb service who graciously accommodated our little guy. Can’t wait to dine here again!

“I love Avli!! The locations I’ve been to, Winnetka and Avli Taverna, have a great philosophy, atmosphere and is intimate for couples, yet easily accommodates a family of 4 comfortably for a casual yet fine dining experience. The menu is thoughtful, including imported Greek oils, crafted unique Greek dishes masterly designed with every detail. Every desire the guest needs is addressed and executed. The plates are exquisite and the atmosphere is heavenly, magical! (No doubt, I imagine, and kudos to your VP and marketing genius Ian) I passed Avli on the Park New Year’s Eve and did take a video which I will gladly post/share! The energy and vibe permeated outside to the guests in line waiting to enter to celebrate the New Year with Ian Vlahakis and the friends and family of Avli! “I always have a great experience when ordering from here! I love the food, it's very tasty, the Gyro is one of my favorite, I wish I could eat it everyday! I truly appreciate the great customer service though, we don't see that much now a days and its refreshing talking and ordering from someone that is nice, and knows what they are doing! “Absolutely outstanding! The food is extremely fresh and timing of the dishes during our visit was spot on. Our sever, Juan, took care to watch from afar and make sure our meal flowed. The busser was on his game as well! I don’t think my water ever fell below the halfway point. We enjoyed the Gyros ( a must try), prawns, mussels, potatoes, and saganaki. The portions were perfect. To be honest, we should have called it quits after the prawns but we couldn’t help our selves, it was just that good. Owner stopped by for a quick hello and welcome. He’s doing a fantastic job with this location and I do hope he continues to do well. Highly recommend Mana for both the food and ambiance.“

“I like the owners, the employees, and always love the food. My biggest complaint is that 9 out of 10 visits this place is always filled with smoke. It bothers my nose, my eyes, and makes everything I'm wearing smell for hours.
