“I’m a truck driver from California, every time I drive near St Louis (which is at least once a month) I always stop in and get their House Fried Rice and a St. Paul and let me tell you they never disappoint!!!!!! Rice is amazingly flavorful and the St. Paul is crunchy on the outside , soft and flavorful on the inside, not like other places!! I highly recommend New China!! Stay blessed everyone…….“

“I’ve been here before and in the past the service wasn’t the best — I often felt like I was being met with an attitude and even charged extra for sweet and sour sauce when ordering multiple boxes of rice.

This time was a completely different experience. The rice was delicious, the service was great, and the lady who helped me was kind, polite, and even gave me extra sauce without hesitation. I ordered shrimp fried rice and it was excellent.

I’m really happy with how much better the service has gotten, and I’ll definitely be coming back more often!“

“Tonite I ordered 2 meals for delivery. The guy who took the order was in a hurry in taking the order & didn’t know the menu very well. I ordered a chicken in Chinese vegetables, combo platter, and a Mei Fun House Special. He questioned what the house special was. I already knew this wasn’t going to go well. He didn’t speak clear English to take orders. My order comes & as I sit down to eat my order of the Mei fun wasn’t that at all. It was in a small carton, Lo Mein noodles in a gravy for $10. I called to complain & he told me I could return it. I am a handicapped individual, that is why I called for delivery. They need to train this individual how to take orders & better handle customer service. I will be disputing the charge on my credit card, very disappointed. Some advice, they have an American guy doing deliveries,,maybe they should consider having him taking orders & the guy currently taking calls to the deliveries.“

“Phen was our server and every other table who came in the door. She took drink orders, got them, food orders, served them, bagged them, cleaned all the tables, placed the silverware and placemats. There were 6 tables at once. She did EVERYTHING for every patron while Lin talked nasty to her and sat on her phone as pictured. It was disgraceful and disrespectful. A woman 30 yrs Phens' jr. “I’ve been coming here for a few years now, at the recommendation of a co-worker, and I’ve never, NEVER, had a disappointing meal. Not one. I drive almost an hour’s distance for this meal because nothing in my area comes close to tasting this good.

Service has always been expedient and polite, I don’t know names but by this point I should make an effort to: the male is charismatic and polite, helps with building trust as a returning customer to associate his charm to the brand. The female, while more business oriented, is professional and reminds me of doing business in a Chicago bodega: personable. There’s a simple charm to the place, it’s not fine dining but that’s not what the place is about.

Atmosphere reminds me of my childhood, the best food comes from homey places. I’m use to eating tacos from little mom and pop shops with old paint and open grills, and it’s ALWAYS been the best food from such places because that’s where you get the soul. Not fake decor on the walls or fancy dinner plates, but actual rooms that show their history.

I cannot recommend this place enough, any time food is brought up I mention this place. Friends, family, my customers at my job… doesn’t matter, I make a point to recommend this spot.“

“This is my go to Chinese place for where I live. Hi 5. Food was great, and when I reheated it the next day. It was just as good. Even forgot and left it out overnight and put it in the fridge when I woke up. Was there 10-23-25 during dinner time. Going back, they really on point now.“

“One thing really important for me is consistency. This place is consistently so good! The sweet and sour chicken is always perfectly crispy outside and perfectly cooked inside. It reheats really well (I have done stovetop, oven, and microwave). The spareribs are so delicious and sauced just right every single time. And my husband loves the fried rices. They give plenty of food to share and to have for leftovers (so important for me!) The drivers they have are always so friendly and sweet! I genuinely love this place. We have gone 1x a month for the last probably 5 months or so, and every time it is great. We found our forever Chinese place! Please keep doing what you're doing! 🫶🏻🤤“
