“This place was delicious! We got the bbq chicken and gyro pizza as well as the combination gyro/chicken over rice. The pizza was made to near perfection, had a good crunch with an impactful flavor. The rice dish was good; it was very flavorful, but I think the meat to rice ratio was a bit off (needed more rice) and I wish the pita was toasted rather than microwaved. Aside from that I was very happy with everything and will definitely be back!“

“I came here around 3 it was a bit busy and I seen the cashier was a bit overwhelmed because she was the only one taking orders at the time. Once she served me my order she had the best demeanor she made sure I had everything I needed. I would definitely be back for the food and the customer service. nice atmosphere. “I am a Puerto Rican muslim who has been searching for a halal Spanish restaurant from NJ, CHI, PR, and Fl and could not find one! Until I stumbled across Sazones. I initially thought this was too good to be true and that I was going to be disappointed, and I was WRONG. Although they did not have my favorite Pollo giusado, their rotisserie chicken, steak, sweet plantains, tostones and my favorite alcapurria made up for it.“

“Stopped in for carryout. Ordering was a bit confusing. We did try the brisket, and it was delicious. The sides were just OK (lots of rice, a few potatoes, garlic, some type of tomato salad, corn, and Cole slaw). They also give you lots of sauces. I would go back and dine in.“

“Started coming here with my husband and his family and Kabul Kabob has become a huge favorite of mine. All the food is so delicious, the owners/staff lovely and welcoming. I always leave so happy after eating here!My husband and I were able to come for iftar where there was a buffet and aH everything was seamless and organized. Each of the dishes from what I saw was refilled as needed.You do need to make reservations for the buffet, and based on the quality of food and service, my husband and I feel the price is fair for the all you can eat buffet.Love this place, wish nothing but the best but continued success for it. “Let me say you made my Daughters baby shower perfect !Starting from the order to the pickup everything went 100 % perfect , from her warm welcome to the attentive care given on packing the cake for my trip to Nebraska .The fear of Flash freezing the cake to throwing it out everything went perfect. Just letting you know you can flash freeze a cake for travel.The cake was just perfect not too sweet and extremely light and fluffy delicious flavor. Thank you.“

“Jerusalem Cafe is like a cheat code for affordable, nutritious food in Oak Park. It's just about the cheapest place to get tasty salmon in downtown OP, and all the food is reliably delicious. I've lived here long enough to remember the restaurants that used to occupy this space, and I'm glad Jerusalem Cafe has stuck around.“

“Just had byrds in oak lawn. Was a great dinner. They had the 2 for $10 deal which was a great steal nowadays with byrger prices.The 2 people at register (one boy and girl) were exceptional hosts. “Mostly the food was very good for real but I got a Gladiator burger that did not have everything on it that they said it would on there plus I asked for peppers and they neglected to put that and yet they put the top part of the tomato that has that brown circle where the stem was on it. I can't eat that and I don't want that on my $11 burger! and that was the only piece of tomato. it made me feel like they don't like me! Then the fried okra was overcooked tough and horrible.“

“Best halal Mexican tacos ever! We only ever get the birria and beef but I’ve had friends order the chicken and they love it!I will say the service isn’t the amazing, but it’s a small hole in the wall place and the food is exceptional so have always been able to overlook that.“

“I have visited twice and gotten the spicy chicken sandwich, my husband has gotten the burger and fries. Both times our order arrived within 15 minutes of us sitting down. The food was hot and fresh. The table was very clean, and the service was perfect and professional. The price was very good compared with other restaurants served the same kind of this meal. There is parking in front of the store.“

“I come here rather often for the fahsa, which is pretty consistent. I typically ask the server to make it spicy. The two menu items we tried for the first time this visit was the biryani which was a big hit, along with the meat pies which I believe are the first items on the menu (I forgot the name). I would highly recommend this yemeni food, I just wish the service was a little better as that is the only reason I'm giving them a 4/5 star review“

“ZAK'S WINGS ARE THE BEST!!! I have made it an annual tradition to have Zak's wings and cheesy garlic bread WITH EXTRA GARLIC for my birthday. The hot wings and garlic are perfect!!!The menu is 100% halal-certified. They have a wide menu of items including typical Midwest American fare as well as Middle East cuisine.I found Zak's several years ago when I worked just a few blocks north of Zak's on Main Street in Lombard. I am glad that I did. Zak and his family are very friendly. They always welcome special requests.Parking: The parking lot is shared with the barber shop next door. Parking is limited during the day on Saturdays but fine otherwise.Kid-friendliness: All ages are welcome. Tables can be arranged for various family gatherings and groupings.“
